The cold air hurts to breath, Leon realizes as he slips on the wet ground while trying to juke the turn down an alley to keep up his speed while running . Driven to not stop no matter how much his lungs burn as he hears one of them shout, "The twerp turned at the alley!" Leon forces his legs to keep moving before he hits a wall, literally. This alley had a wall added since Leon last used it to escape, it seems like the store area had turned this half into a spot for people to find vending machines now.

Staring at the wall, Leon can hear footsteps and takes a deep breath as he tries to run up and reach for the top out of desperation, but such a feat is nowhere near being achieved. His feet slide against the wall as gravity wins the struggle and he collapses to his knees coughing and gasping for air. His lungs burned, his legs turned to jelly, and his head was killing him. All he could do was curl up into a ball and await what is to come.

Leon isn't even sure how everything went wrong today, it was supposed to be just another Saturday. Leon had slipped out of class early, caught the ferry to Sumaru and had hoped to find Mr. Takaya or maybe Niko. Not that he needed them for anything, in fact Niko had left him in the middle of a panic attack, but the last time he met Mr. Takaya everything felt better. Unfortunately no one was at the park, and just when he was about to leave it happened. A group of Sevens high school students, including some of his past tormenters. Leon had tried to hide, or stay small but that thing wouldn't let him. Leon saw the rock fly through the air, saw it smack straight into the lead 'thugs' coffee cup, then the laughter and the rage and now then Leon did the only thing he knew to do, he ran for his life.

Leon snaps his head up as he hears the footsteps behind him, his life flashing before his eyes interrupted by the taste of copper in his mouth. A voice is heard, Leon's fear keeping him curled in a ball, "You think you can just hit me with a rock and then run. You ruined my uniform, and you are going to pay for it. " Two more sets of footsteps are heard, Leon has to fight the urge to get up, before the voice says , "Pick him up, let's see who this piece of shit is." Leon feels some arms pick him up and gravity forces him to uncurl as he is turned to face his tormenters.

The leader of the trio begins to laugh at seeing Leon, "If it isn't Leon the halfling, what did you think, now that you aren't going to our school you could get some revenge. " Leon begins to stutter and stammer trying to explain, "N-n-n…no. I didn't…" Leon feels a sting across his face as he gets smacked and the cold air makes it hurt all the more. The attacker shakes his head, "Don't lie. You think just because Kato-san is gone you could get away with taking revenge. " Looking at one of the ones holding Leon up, the guy says , "Make sure no one comes down this alley. We are going to remind Leee-on of his proper Seven's education."

Leon looks down scared and in pain, it's like he is already giving the beating that is coming. That is until the point about revenge is made, that makes Leon smile. A big smile. A snicker and then a giggle is given as Leon looks up with a white face, as if somehow he just applied white paint. His big grin seems bigger than possible and a giggle has turned his voice almost to a sing-song voice, "Oh that wasn't revenge, that was justice. Just like with my best friend." A chuckle turns into a full on laughing fit and the three seven students look confused and a bit scared. That doesn't stop things though, they had escalated and the aggressive Seven student can't run away. So the student throws a fist.

Once the fist is thrown several things happen all at once. The entire alley is engulfed in a pocket of the supernatural, a spectre- like figure rises out of Leon, the figure is wearing a red kosode, and looks humanoid, except for the four extra skeleton-like arms that are extruding from the figure's back. One arm wields a half forged sword that looks like it has just been beaten into a sword shaped object, in another is the smithing hammer that did the beating. On the figure's face is a Joker mask. The final thing that happens before the punch lands is the sword-like object performs a single swipe and the arm is no longer attached to the aggressor. A scream is given as the attacker collapses before shocks take over. Leon feels his body released as the accomplice makes a run for it but doesn't get more than a few steps before he falls with a big slash across his back. The spectre has moved forward to lash out once again with the sword .Leon stands there looking at those who fell before his newfound power and smiles even bigger, justice has been served. Still he won't kill them, let them be the warning of the righteous justice that is coming.

Stepping out of the alley, dragging the supernatural pocket with him he looks at the other Seven students who were on lookout. Leon giggles, "By my sword I shall purify you all. " A smithing hammer strikes the chest of the student, the hammer wields by a new skeleton arm connected to the back of the blacksmith with the joker mask, the skeleton arm is covered by the sleeve of Seven's school uniform. Leon laughs as his head looks in the direction of the Seven's Highschool, "I understand now, my trial is complete and it is time for me to purify the evil of this land. However, I think I shall take the long way. " The faceless Leon laughs at his own words as he walks away from the bloody mess he has caused.

The news would report a few hours later about how three poor innocent students were attacked and how the culprit looked like an attempted copy cat of the Joker Killer. None of the students have woken up for questioning.

A notification pops up that a new video just dropped on MonkeyDSync's account. 'Joker Killer: Real or Myth' The video starts with a black screen and some sounds can be heard before a light turns on. Standing in the video is a familiar figure, The Joker Killer, dressed in a tan trenchcoat, and his paper bag. Over the trench coat is a grilling apron that reads ' Kiss the cook..or else' and covered in what is obviously movie prop blood, right?

The man under the paper bag begins to speak, "Hey my fellow tubers, welcome to the video. I know you may all be expecting a certain monkey with good looking hair today, but he is indisposed. Instead we have a special guest star, ME! In fact given what happen to MightySasuke's account this is probably the end of this channel after today so make sure to like and subscribe now before you can't"

The masked fellow reaches off screen and starts to pull a chair toward him before stopping and dumping it's contents off screen that makes a loud thud before he brings the chair on screen. "So I am the Joker Killer. Not any of those fakes, not the masked Joker and crew who steal hearts and imitate me. No, I am the one and only Joker Killer, and unfortunately after recent conversations I think I will remain that way. " The man's voice sounds a little depressed at that last sentence.

"Anyways my viewers, I come to you today because it turns out. Some of you don't believe in me. Some of you think I am as real as Santa Clause. Well Santa and I both would like you all to know we are very real. Under this wonderful mask is a beautiful face of a paladin who is looking to bring this world the salvation it deserves. " The paper bag turns and appears to be talking about something off screen. "No no, I think they are ready."

The Joker Killer clears his throat and looks directly in the camera before pulling up some poster board with drawings of what appears to be some version of timelines. "What if I told you that time travel is real and the time we live in now is totally wrong. Nothing is happening as it should and I am here now to help fix it. That I am one of the chosen to save this timeline and fix it back to how it should be. " The poster is changed as he explains things to show the timeline forking off towards what The Joker Killer has labeled as the bad ending.

"So fear not my viewers, I am here for the betterment of the world. The media is making it sound like I am some horrible killer, but really I am the hero, here to do a job. This is why I need you all to make those calls, it is a part of the rule of time traveling. I can't make changes without your approval, so please call me. " Joker Killer drops the posters and then adjusts to look straight into the camera, the creepy smiley face on the paper bag staring at the viewer.

The Joker killer's gloved hands are raised to help express the following statement, " Now I don't expect you to believe me just based on my word. That's why I am going to prove it. I am going to prove that I am endowed with the power to save this world. First I have been told that it is time to reveal myself. That is why, soon I shall live stream the removal of my mask, and prove to you all how powerful I really am. So stay tuned, as I will make sure everyone knows when and where to tune into."

The Joker Killer just stares at the camera as if he expects the camera to cut out, "Huh? Oh. OH! The second point of proof. I am going to give you a list of people who can act as character witnesses for me. They can tell you about how powerful and awesome I am. " Reaching off screen, he pulls forth a piece of paper. " So first off, a shoutout to one of my besties Tatsuya Suou. The two of us go way,way back and I love hanging out with him. He is totally my bestie. His brother, the good detective Katsuya is not quite as big of a fan of mine, however I bet he is out there watching. " The Joker Killer holds his hands up in a heart, "Big heart and shout out to you Detective. "

"Then we have those who I have chosen to bestow my mercy on and allow a chance to redeem themselves. First we have Eikichi Mishina, who looks like a punk, but to be truthful I felt pity for the kid. Then we have Ayame Watanabe, who took on the burden of my wrath on behalf of her husband, Ikkaku Watanabe. Good for you Watanabe-san, hope couple therapy is working for yall. My favorite Cardboard dragon employee, Umie Akabane, who is also one of my biggest fans, we should do it again soon Umie-Chan. We hang out so often. Tsubasa Seki, who I found in a time of crisis with their parents. I hope that is getting sorted out, Seki-san. Finally, Jun Kashihara, we both know you should be standing here as the one true Joker to lead us back to the correct time. I hope that you will find your way there soon."

The list of names given, The Joker Killer stands up and is about to walk off screen before stopping, "Oh and after the reveal, if you are watching dear old dad. I am coming to give you a hug." A laugh is given before he walks off screen and then the video ends.

A notification has gone out to all who subscribe to MightySasuke88's Let's Play youtube account that a new video just dropped. 'Mighty sasuke's last video'.

The video starts dark, before a light flickers on and one, who many would know as MightSasuke88, is well not so much as sitting, but bound and gagged and struggling in the chair. The guy looks like he has been beaten up and clawed by a bear or something given the claw marks. A voice comes from behind the camera, "Is it working? I think it's working." From behind the camera walks out the star of tonight's video, The Joker Killer.

Black trench coat, and a brand new paper bag hides his face with a big smiling face colored on it. "Hello all, long time watcher, first time poster. Thank you all for tuning in to today's special video. MightSasuke88's final video, brought to you by me. The Joker Killer." The Joker Killer gives a bow to the camera.

Spinning with extra pizzazz The Joker Killer walks over and taps MightySasuke88's cheek gently before rearing back and slapping him as hard as he could. The poor guy goes spilling to the ground before groaning awake. The Joker Killer's voice echos in the room, "Wakie wakie Akito. " Looking back at the camera, "That's right, the MightySasuke's name is Akito, Akito Ito. His parents were real original. " Reaching down with one hand he pulls Akito off the ground and rights Akito's chair and sets it back to be centered in the camera.

"Now Akito, do you have any last words for your viewers?" The Joker Killer removes the gag and with a cough and sputter begins to freak out. "Please let me go. Don't kill me! Don't burn me again! Don't feed me to the bear thing! Please don't kill me !!!!" Akito breaks down into tears completely terrified. The Joker Killer hovers over the poor soul for a moment before he makes a dramatic gesture of sniffing the air. "Did you? Did you piss yourself?" The Joker Kill begins to laugh.

Turning back to the camera The Joker Killer reaches off camera and draws forth a sword, "Well I think Akito Ito has suffered enough folks. It's time for him to sign off forever. Also if you liked this video don't forget to like and subscribe. Oh and give me a call sometime." Laughter is heard as the screen fades to black, the sound still going as screams of pain and tears are heard and then silence…

Until The Joker Killer's voice is heard, "Oh I just turned off…hold on let me just…ther…." The video ends.

Kato Teuro doesn't know how this all happened. One moment he was having a bowl of ramen and the next thing he knew there was a guy with a bag on his head standing at the end of an empty street. As if out of a horror movie from out of his trench coat, damn hellhounds came forth and started chasing him. Of course that's not even all of it, every time he thinks he gets away there is that guy just standing there again.

Kato didn't understand, this guy seemed to be the only person in the area. No one else on the streets, in any of the shops he tried to hide nothing. Just him, that weird guy with the paper bag and the hellhounds. Oh and there was that one ice cream shop with a little snow man enjoying an ice cream. That was really weird. Finally though Kato thinks he has found a way out of what he can only imagine is a nightmare. Bursting through a door of a roof, he quickly turns around and jams a bar under the door bracing it so it won't open from the inside. Breathing hard Kato laughs, "Can't get me now."

A sound of applause interrupts Kato's triumph, "Oh yes that would absolutely stop any pursuers, who weren't already on the roof. " Standing on top of the entrance to the roof is The Old Maid, also known to Kato as the weird guy with a paper bag over his head. From the shadows hellhounds step out surrounding Kato, as The Old Maid leaps down to stand face to face.

Kato keeps looking for a way out, there has to be a way, the panic, the fight or flight, the crazy guys sword swings, Kato winces preparing for the impact and then he suddenly hears, "Hey, I just met you, And this is crazy, But here's my number, So call me, maybe?" Kato opens his eyes as he is confused where that song is coming from and the guy, with his bag on his head pulls out a cell phone, the chorus still repeating. The bag head guy looks at Kato, "Sorry this is so unprofessional but I have to take this."

Elsewhere in the real world…

A black eye and a week of dizziness from a concussion. That's what Hiroki Sugimoto got left with after his latest challenge of Eikichi Mishina for the leader. But this challenge was different, after the first few the 'Devil Boss' had his so-called subordinates tell him he'd get him next time.

They still believed in him.

This time they just looked at him with pity before walking away, leaving him there on his ass. He was thinking of that /still/ as he stacked desks in the Kasugayama basement.

"/No one/ pities me, damnit."

The Old Maid looks over the ledge and whistles as the echos of screams from the real world can be heard at the sudden appearance of a burning body falling from nowhere. Then one of the hellhound speaks up, "Was it really necessary to get him on the roof if you were just going to use fire?" The Old Maid turns and looks at the hound, "The fun was in the chase. Isn't that why you chase a ball?" The hellhound growls and turns to run back to the shadows done with The Old Maid's crap.

The Old Maid himself looks at the others and shrugs before he looks at the name again, "It appears our next victim is Eikichi Mishina"

Meanwhile back with the Devil boss after he has been hung up on…

There was a muffled sound of giggling on the other side of the Blast Doors, and Sugimoto stepped back, "Who the fuck is there!?" Silence…
