While Takaya believed his life was sad before, this period is the one that haunts Takaya the most. He remembers the pain and the sorrow that came with what they did to him. This warped Takaya, making him crave the power to stop himself from feeling this anguish. If the strong got to commit such atrocities, then Takaya would be the one at the top. Takaya began to become obsessed with Death as it offered him a way out of these atrocities.</ins></div></td></tr>
