Though he might be an elementary student, Ken Amada does his level best to present as mature beyond his years. In fairness to him, he does have concerns and traumas that no child his age should ever have to grapple with. Core among these is the death of his mother in 2010; his memory of this is hazy, but recalling it was a result of an attack during the Dark Hour prompted him to Awaken to kill the Shadow he believed responsible and join SEES to help prevent another such tragedy. He particularly admires his SEES senpai, Shinjiro Aragaki, who seems to feel reluctantly responsible for him. As sweet and soft-spoken as Ken is on the surface, his determination is as a lance of steel. | |||
