- Summary: Zabu has a meeting with his assistant. There is a cameo by his pomeranian, Cheddar.
Meanwhile, at Casa de Gessou.
"And you have a meeting with the network tomorrow at 08:30" Ami says flatly, checking her notes before adjusting her glasses. After a moment, she looks to the man next to her, remaining neutral in her expression as her eyes go back to her notes.
To his credit, Gozaburou is listening....half listening. He is currently using an exercise bike he keeps in his office to remain "marketable". He reaches for a sports drink as he takes a break, looking to his assistant with a confident grin. "Right. Confirm that for me and make sure to set up a gift basket for the president's wife. Hmmm, the '85 Chateau included in there."
Ami nods, adjusting her glasses again. "You also have another meeting at 11:00 with advertising. They are concern advertisers will pull out because of the Joker Killer segments."
After a swig of his drink, Zabu smirks with a shake of his head. "Tch, yeah well they are going to be thanking me when my 5 part Joker Killer segment makes them enough money to make up for any cowardly brands. Don't these morons understand what kind of yokels watch us?!"
"Hmm...You also have a 16:00 appointment with the veterinarian for Cheddar."
"Hmmm. Move that up. I can't have my precious show mascot sick can I?" Zabu looks around Ami to a -very- large dog bed where a small reddish brown Pomeranian lays, looking particularly tiny next to his pile of toys. Zabu kneels and smiles at the clearly disinterested dog, spoiled rotten by plenty. "Whose stealing the hearts of all of Sumaru? It's you Cheddar.."
Cheddar does the dog equvilent of rolling his eyes. The only respond is a deep sigh followed by a snort.
Zabu smiles, pleased with himself as he looks back to Ami. "Gotta love that deep bond we share. Like a father and son... Anyway, cancel my appointments after that. I want to look over the stuff for the 'oh so advertiser poison' Joker Killer segments. They are lucky I'm not pulling some strings and bring the wrath of god down on them. I could have their metaphorical head on a platter if I wanted."
"If you say so, Gessou-sama."
"I -do- say so...I'm not the tippy top of the pryamid but I know I'm higher than some peasant in advertising. Pth, anyway. You're free Ami-chan. I'm gonna go do some research...with my best buddy!"
Cheddar is unmoved but offers a stern grumble in response.
