  • Where: Studio Chura, Aoba
  • OOC Date: 2026-03-25
  • IC Date: Mon, Oct 15 2012
  • Summary: Lisa Silverman and Jun Kashihara don't have any reason to cross paths in this world... unless, that is, they were both to go to dance tutoring after the first day of midterms. There, they speak about Jun's mother's advocacy, Lisa's dance moves, and Jun's desire to become even more beautiful -- which totally isn't a combat thing, honest.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

Studio Chura is open most afternoons, from 4 to 6, for individual and small group tutoring; a few programmes, such as Elementary School Introduction to Ballet and Middle School Introduction to Ballet, are more structured and larger, but most of her clients want individualised instruction.

(It is that individualism which makes her studio open by request, too; she even has one client who prefers to have his classes at six in the morning.)

... but the Studio has struggled to have entirely consistent hours, recently. It's notable, the amount of times it's remained closed after school, though... Yua's students have mostly all figured out why, by now. She's pregnant -- and that explains why she's been looking a little more unwell, lately, losing some weight, being a bit slow with moving from lying or sitting to standing.

She can still bust a move, though. And now finals have gripped the student body, Yua's off school for a week -- everyone's too busy in their exams to attend physical education -- which means that busting moves in Studio Chura is the only way to actually see her, for her students.

Some of whom might have pre-existing tutoring arrangements, anyway...!

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

One of the things that Hyousuke recommended Jun do to get stronger, now that he's awakened to his Persona, is train with a martial arts master. This makes logical sense, but sports are... not really Jun's thing, even if he does have an understanding of a certain martial arts form. Just enough to defend himself.

However, as little as he likes exercise, he really should find something he can tolerate doing to make himself more effective at battle. When he thought it over, it struck him: his style of fighting, and indeed his aesthetic sensibility, is already akin to a dance. Why not further his lessons with Yua-sensei while she's still able to give private lessons?

He drops by Studio Chura after the first day of midterms. Jun is a habitual studier and quite intelligent besides, so he had no problems with it. (No, those are going to come tomorrow.) He has a change of clothes in his bag with him, and he looks around for any sign of the teacher or other students before walking further inside.

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

Lisa Silverman is here fairly regularly; when she expressed interest in improving her dancing, for some reason Ginji Sasaki gave her the number to this place. So she, Meepo, and Sheba all come down here sometimes. It's just her today, though.

She shows up quietlike, in a school uniform instead of some fancy outfit. That makes her almost blend in. Almost.

"Wai, Ijuuin-sensei!"

A bright, cheerful voice calls through the door arriving after Jun but not noticing that he's already here at first. She's been studying, kind of.. sort of...

Look they have a tutor.

She has a change of clothes too, and when she walks in after Jun she says, "Oh, cool," she starts, seeing a boy who's interested in dance, but then...

Then...

"...?"

Lisa finds herself staring at Jun for a moment without realizing.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

For some reason, Yua came recommended... surely it's because she teaches dance one day a week at Sisters, too, so Lisa would already be familiar with her.

There's something that must pass as a front desk by the door, though Yua has no one to staff it -- instead, beside the cash register, a boombox blasts American eighties dance music. Don't worry about understanding the lyrics, though: the beat is easy to follow either way.

And Yua is dancing, on the dance floor! It's nice, springy wood, with a barre along the back wall and two and a half walls lined with floor-to-ceiling mirrors. (The far half of the room truncates a little early, because it's walled off a small changing area and bathroom... and, of course, there's a wall with a long bench installed along the side for students to rest. Or for moms to wait for their kids to be done. It's a very talented bench.) Lisa, at least, would know that that's not unusual; Yua does fill in her time here between students with her own practice. Up on tippy-toe pointe, she turns a pirouette. It gives Jun and Lisa that moment, to look at each other, to...

... hear Yua clap her hands together as she bends gracefully out of her en pointe position, quite determined not to show her students how hard that's getting these days. "Silverman-kun! Ah, and Kashihara-kun, too?" She tilts her head, curiously. "Do you two know each other...?"

She steps over, to click 'stop' on the boombox, so they're not drowned out by the sounds of the dancefloor. "Finals have started today, haven't they? How do you think you did for the first day...?" She enquires, kindly.

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

Isn't it nice, to have a dance teacher come recommended? So convenient that she teaches at so many schools in the greater Tokyo metropolitan area, too.

Jun has already passed by the unmanned front desk by the time Lisa enters the studio after him; he's caught sight of Yua on the dance floor and smiles, raising a hand to greet her, when the girl behind him speaks.

What she says is nothing unusual. However, something about her voice seems familiar... Jun turns around, bangs shading his right eye, to blink back at Lisa. She looks familiar, too--unusual for a white girl, of whom he knows very few... For a moment, he's uneasy, and that might show as his elegant eyebrows furrow. This isn't another one of those deja vu moments, is it...?

But then Yua claps her hands, and he looks back around in time to see her unfold out of her en pointe position. "Ah, sensei," he says with a smile. "No, I don't believe so, but..." 'Silverman,' she called her. Jun does recognize that name, and it suddenly clicks where he recognizes her from. It's honestly a relief, and he gives Lisa a smile.

"You're a member of that new music group, MUSES, aren't you? Lisa Silverman-san?" She cameoed in the recently-released movie SMILE, in fact--which is the reason he recognizes her. "My name is Jun Kashihara. Don't worry, I won't pester you for your autograph," he adds.

He smiles back at Yua; turning off the boombox does make it easier to converse. "That's right. I'm confident I did well," he replies. "I suppose I should have waited until midterms are over, but I wanted to get a head start while you're out from school, sensei."

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

It is nice!!

Lisa, indeed, has an unmistakable sense of deja vu. It's not great. She's kind of uneasy, too, when he furrows his eyebrows. But then...

"Oh, right! Hi!"

Pause. "Ah, no.." He doesn't believe so. And she's pretty sure no--

She smiles back. "Hai," Lisa responds. The boombox turning off is easier. "I am!" Lisa confirms. "But I'm trying to keep that quiet so we don't get bugged..." A beat, and she laughs. "Thanks, but it's OK." Pause. "I didn't know C--Kasu High had such pretty guys! --Wait, Kashihara... Like, Kashihara-sensei at Sevens?"

Maybe that's why he looked familiar.

Finals...

Lisa slumps. "Houshounah... Don't remind me about finals, sensei. I guess I'm doing fine, but I wanted to think about something else for a bit! Like dancing!"

A turn to Jun, "You already know my name, but you can still just call me Lisa," she offers. "If we're both learning here!"

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

Yua is the most convenient teacher. It seems like she knows every student across Tokyo who's ever missed a day of school -- or even been in danger of missing a day of school. Her program is instrumental for keeping students engaged...!

(And if the students she's targeting coincidentally catch a lot of kids who miss class or fail to engage because they're exhausted from summoning their Persona too much the night before -- well. That's got to be a coincidence. Yua doesn't know anything about that world, right? She's a teacher! That's got to be illegal. It would be just like a cop with a Persona........ okay, maybe that's a bad example.)

"Oh, yes! Silverman-kun has been working very hard, recently! Hee hee, so people are beginning to recognise you..." Yua giggles, behind her tawny fingers, as she turns to Lisa. (No fingernail polish, right now.) "Don't worry. Kashihara-kun is a very reliable young man! He won't go gossiping, I'm sure."

Jun is confident, though, and Lisa -- well. "Ahh, sorry, sorry," Yua holds a hand up, in apology. "I won't jinx you! I'm sure you'll both do very well." She is admittedly a little more sure about Jun, but she makes it sound like they both have good results ahead of them. "But you're looking to get a head start, Kashihara-kun? Does that mean you'd like to study dancing a little more in-depth, too?"

She hums, thoughtfully. "Then... I know! Silverman-kun, can you show him the routine you've been working towards? I think it would land a lot better coming from someone your own age!"

Well, that might be true, but there's another reason she has for suggesting Lisa show her moves: to let her feel more confident about something than her midterms.

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

"I hear that one often," Jun says amiably of Kasu High and pretty guys. If he were more arrogant, he might say something like how he's raising the average of both Kasugayama's grades and looks. Instead, he smiles broadly as she mentions Kashihara-sensei. That red bow of hers indicates she's a second-year at Sevens, so he didn't know for sure if she'd know him, but he's glad to see she does. "Yes! He's my father," he tells her. "You're familiar with my mother too--Junko Kurosu."

He laughs a little along with Yua when she reassures Lisa he won't gossip. "Of course. I know the value of discretion," he confirms, which the mention of his mother should have underscored. Especially if she wasn't kidding about someone bugging the place... Jun would have assumed it was a joke once upon a time, but these days he feels like he can't take anything for granted.

She invites him to call her Lisa. He hesitates for a second, then nods. "You don't need to be overly formal with me either, Lisa-san," he tells her. Both of them have given names that are much easier to say than their family names, after all, and it's nice to make friends with a fellow dance student--especially one who is no doubt a lot more advanced than he is.

"Yes, that's right," he tells Yua. No need to explain his reasons why. Surely the beauty of dance is enough. He looks thoughtful at her suggestion that Lisa show him her routine, and he turns again to her. "Would that be all right with you? We both ought to change first, but I'd be interested to see afterwards."

And, assuming Lisa is indeed up for it, Jun will head to the changing area to do precisely that--though he'll let Lisa go first if she prefers. On top of getting to see a dance from a peer, this will also help minimize Yua's need to move around while she's pregnant while not calling attention to it... That's his thought, at least.

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

Of course Jun hears it often. Lisa instead of focusing on that focuses on--"Oh yeah! Wow, you've got real cool parents..." She is familiar with Junko Kurosu! Thanks to the movie. It's not like they were talking all the time or anything, but, "Your mom really gave us some good advice..."

Discretion!! Yes. It's important. Luckily Lisa didn't mean bugged as in surveilled just bothered. But, "We're doing our best!" she says to Yua, and pumps her fist.

But she's sure... they'll both do very well. Well--

Hey introductions! "Sure, Jun-san. Nice to meet you!"

"Oh, totally." Once, Lisa would've found showing somebody new the moves kind of a pain...

Wait, no she wouldn't. She likes showing off her dancing! Weird.

She thinks about the same as Jun though--it makes things easier on Yua. That's a good thing!

"OK, just let me go change." Jun can go first; Lisa doesn't really care about the order.

When she comes out, she's in a Sevens gym outfit. She wasn't kidding about going low-key; she could probably afford something fancier, now.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"Why, I saw Kurosu-san on the television, the other day," Yua remarks, when Jun brings his mother up. "She's very forward-minded, isn't she? Well, I hope she'll be able to change things by the time you're my age," she chuckles, rubbing at the mokone gane wedding band entrapping her finger.

... to give her own acting credit, it doesn't sound exquisitely painful.

She smiles when they decide to go by first names, too. It's nice when the youth get along!!

And, indeed, as the two of them get changed, Yua takes a seat on the bench. She puffs out a little sigh as she lowers herself down, but manages to mostly cover up how glad she is to get off her feet for a moment.

She does, though, get up long enough to cue up music for Lisa when she's ready --

OST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oPLlmUkCC8 Sun Yanzi - Green Light

-- and she doesn't know the lyrics to a lot of the music Lisa likes, but that's fine, it's all about the beat, anyway.

"It's actually kind of a relief that you're both here this afternoon... haa, I'm able to take a minute," Yua smiles, admitting at least a little of that weight on her. "Besides, Silverman-kun's been working hard at this...!"

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

"Thank you," Jun says warmly of his parents. He knows that, but it makes him happy to hear others acknowledge it too. "Oh really?" he adds of his mother's advice. "I'm glad to hear that. I'll have to let her know you've been taking it to heart, whatever it is."

Yua weighs in on his mother, too, and he chuckles with pride, brushing his fingertips through his hair. "That's her wish," he says fondly. A very different one from the one she made another lifetime ago... But Jun wouldn't know anything about that.

Some of that does fade when he sees Yua rub her ring, though. ...He'd wondered at the wedding if he'd misread the vibes between her and Miho, but after seeing and hearing that...

...well, better not to say anything. Either he's wrong, or it's far too late for that now.

If the order doesn't matter, Jun will go change first! He emerges in the Kasugayama gym uniform and waits for Lisa, whom it's been good for him to meet too. She really is going low-key, as she said. Yua certainly looks like she needed that rest on the bench, though she gets up to cue up the music before Jun can offer to do it for her. He nods to her instead, as much to her acknowledgement of some of that weight as well as Lisa's routine.

"Well then, whenever you're ready, Lisa-san," he prompts her.

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

Lisa... Well, her parents aren't the worst, but they sure do drive her crazy. Jun's, though--great! "Yeah!" Lisa answers cheerfully. "Thanks." It's nice that it'll get back to her... But on TV? Oh, right!

"Aiyah!" Lisa exclaims brightly. "I was so surprised, but that's so cool! Being against gays is like, super in the past. Ah, but she's getting some blowback in the industry..." That's a little sad. "But I admire that she's standing up for it!"

Then she pauses. She thinks about the interviews. She thinks about how this is Jun, Junko's son. And how--

"!"

It clicks! And--and it would be rude to say anything about her obviously working something out. "Ha ha right!" she says, and luckily Jun's changing while she's figuring this part out--so she darts into the cahnging room after him, and comes out in a Sevens gym uniform.

"All right!" Lisa says. "OK! It's time! I, Lisa Silverman, will now dance!"

The music queues up, and--

It's a lively, energetic choerography, with a lot of spins and a lot of motion of the arms and torso rather than a ton of leg motions. She first just demonstrates, but on the repeat from the chorus, "So it's like--"

She even counts off the beats on those.

"Leave it to me, sensei!" Lisa says then. "Take all the time you need!"

"...And that's how it goes! The hard part's mostly keeping track of all your body's movements at once, but if you can tie your hands and feet both to the music, it gets easier."

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

Yua sighs, hearing the blowback Junko's getting. "It's a shame," she agrees, and the touch of sadness which does creep into her voice is surely doing nothing for Jun's suspicions. "Well, I understand worrying about traditional values, but there's not much to value in tradition if it doesn't worry about you... personally, I think young people should be allowed to live freely." That's her personal opinion. And her professional opinion? Anyway. "That's surely the best way to preserve those traditions worth keeping... ah, in any case, I agree," Yua smiles, to Lisa. "Kurosu-san is quite a formidable woman."

And the gaydar goes wild! Even Lisa gets it, eventually. Once Jun's changing. Yua blinks, watching her flee. "Oh, dear..." She says, but says it with a chuckle, fingers veiling her lips again.

"Go on!" She claps her hands together, supportively, when Lisa declares her intentions. As she dances, she offers some helpful prompts: things like, "Look at how she's keeping her core steady as her arms sway," and, "Do you see how she's moving her weight through her torso to her arms?", and, "Take a look at how her feet are moving with her shoulders to give that sense of intentionality."

Yua claps, when she's done. "An excellent demonstration, Silverman-kun! So, Kashihara-kun, is that the sort of dancing you'd like to learn...? I'm sure you'd like to create a beautiful performance!" That's right, Jun's reputation absolutely precedes him, Yua's assuming he's looking to increase his gracefulness skill even further.

('Gracefulnesss' is a social skill only in Yua's head, though...)

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

"Agreed," Jun says mildly of homophobia being out of date. His brown eyes turn sympathetic at Yua, but her wordplay--and her persona opinion--bring a smile to his lips. "Yes. She's been in the industry for a while, so I'm confident she'll be able to weather the pushback." She'll have to, if she wants to arrange Jun's wedding one day.

Either way, it just makes him happy to see his mother going to bat for him. He can only hope that Yua manages to find a balance between traditions and her true self, one day...

The two get changed, music is queued, and then--it's time to d-d-d-d-d-dance!

It doesn't seem like that difficult of a dance to Jun at first, either--a lot of upper body movement. It does look like it takes a lot of energy, though. At least the twirls work for him; it's that sort of round movement that's the basis of his evasive fighting style. Jun nods as Yua points out details of Lisa's dance that he wouldn't have caught on his own, studying the movement of her body as only a young man with no attraction to women can. At the end of it, he claps in appreciation.

"You know me well, sensei," he says cheerfully to Yua. It may be to enhance his fighting ability, but if he's going to fight, it should be beautiful. "I admit I was hoping for something with more footwork, but the swaying motions do look quite elegant. And..." Here, he looks abashed. "I'm not precisely athletic, so it might be best to start with coordination anyway..."

As Lisa says, that's the hard part, so that should definitely help him in that respect.

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

A shame! Lisa has gotten better at hiding her feelings thanks to the whole idol thing, so she doesn't broadcast that she feels stupid about not realizing Jun's gay and talking about it like it's not personal to him. ...But not so good at it that she doesn't seem a little nervous when she comes out for some reason.

"Hey," Lisa says to Yua, "Old people should get to live free, too!" Worry, though... She makes a face. "I don't really care that much about tradition," she sighs. "My dad's super into it and I'm just... tired."

But Lisa declares her intentions and--

It definitely takes a lot of energy. "Thanks!" she says, and then considers. Footwork... "Touche!" she says, in more Cantonese. "But more footwork... I know some dances that are trickier on the feet. But they'll be easier to learn if you get used to moving in sync, yeah!"

"If you're worried about not being athletic, then don't! You'll get there if you keep at it! Remember what they say, the dance of a hundred steps starts with a single mile!"

Pause.

"..." Lisa turns red. "Um, forget I said that."

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"She's a strong woman," Yua agrees, nodding to Jun. Lisa says that young people should get to live free, too, though... and Yua sighs, though her smile's still on her face. "Many things should be and are not so," she advises her, gently. "But I'm sure you'll be one of the ones to change things, Silverman-kun."

Wait for it. Waaaait for it...

Wait a while, because Yua's occupied with Lisa's dancing!!

"You know, I think you'd take very well to ballet," Yua says, hearing Jun muse about footwork. "You'll find quite a lot of footwork, there. And contemporary ballet has many lessons to teach the modern dancer... or, as we could say for you, danseur! That's what we call male ballerinas," she adds, helpfully, because not everyone is up on their French.

"But Silverman-kun is quite right," she adds, smiling. "To dance a hundred steps, you must first take your first step." Did -- did she not notice the saying got mixed up...? "We begin with posture, turnout, stretching the body... as I say in class, it's very important to have a feeling for how your body can move, so you don't push yourself too far." Yua is, in fact, surprisingly strict about people trying to push through pain. It's one of the sure-firest ways to actually get her to scold you!

        Here, though, she pauses.

        She tilts her head.

"Oh," she realises. "Do I come off as very old because I talk about being safe like that...? No, no," she says, with a kind of hapless, empty-headed confusion, "I'm not even twenty-three, yet, I'm really not so old..."

        BOOM THERE IT IS

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

Learning to dance withfrom Lisa is certainly looking promising. As expected of an idol, she knows more dances than just the one she just showed off, and it sounds like those might give Jun a better range of movement and ability to dodge during combat. He smiles at her encouragement. "Then, since you're working on that dance just now anyway..."

He stops to consider Yua's suggestion about ballet. "I thought you had to be very young to start on ballet?" he wonders--but he does sound intrigued. He's up on his French too, but the new vocabulary is appreciated all the same.

        The messed-up saying, however...

'The dance of a hundred steps starts with a single mile!'

        "..."

Fortunately, Lisa realizes on her own she messed that saying up. Jun's smile turns awkward, but then, he hopes, reassuring. "Said what?"

It seems like Yua is willing to push past it too, and Jun nods as she revisits the basics. He's familiar with these concepts from her gym classes, so it makes sense, of course--as does her continued insistence that no one push their body past the breaking point.

...of course, then she gets caught up on the 'old' comment that Lisa made ages ago. If this were an anime, a drop of sweat would be forming on the side of Jun's head. "S-sensei, I don't think she meant you..."

At least he hopes Lisa didn't mean her. Twenty-three really isn't that old at all, even compared to a high schooler!

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

Lisa hearing that she'll change something surprises her. She blinks for a moment, not entirely sure what to do with this idea. But she is dancing a moment later...

And, "Yeah!" Lisa answers Jun about working on that one. "One at a time's a better way to learn. I actually liked dancing before I joined up with MUSES, but it was mostly club type dancing..."

Ballet! "Oooh. Real ballet's hard," Lisa says, but her tone is more like 'and it's awesome that you'd consider it' rather than 'and that's why you shouldn't.

The saying, though... Lisa smiles despite herself at Jun, still embarrassed, but Yua just goes on with it. She--well, she's going into real lessons so maybe she just wants to pretend it didn't happen?

"R-right..." Don't push yourself too far. But suddenly--

Lisa's eyes widen. She looks like a deer in headlights for a moment. Then, after a jerky pause, "Ng Hai! No no no no!"

"I didn't mean you, sensei--just, you said it like young people, and I thought, that leaves out old people! Who... should also be free! and--"

"I mean, you're super young! Especially to be having a--"

Lisa no.

"I mean, ahahah... why don't we... take it... from... the top?"

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"There is... an element of truth to the age at which you start," Yua admits. "Those who begin when they are very young will be able to encourage their bones to develop in a way which allows greater movement. I started when I was three, myself... but if what you'd like to do is develop your own grace, rather than dance in a professional troupe, those worries aren't so troubling," she adds. With a bit of a puff, she picks herself up, and stands before Jun. "Watch my feet," she says, as she moves through first position -- hips rotated out to allow the feet to point away from each other in, "First position," then with both legs standing apart as her arms extend in, "Second position," then as one foot is placed horizontally in front of the other in, "Third position," then with one leg fully crossing behind her and slid back in, "Fourth position," before those legs move closer to each other, still crossed, in, "Fifth position."

She then shifts her position -- turning out a little less, her feet pointed forward some more. "But here is how I would move through the positions," she demonstrates, "if my hips were not developed to open up as they are. Any reasonable ballet instructor will agree -- the degree of turnout is secondary to the capacity to move between motions. In fact, even adults can learn ballet for the first time! And there are elements of ballet in many dance styles..."

But Yua is caught out of going into more of just how many pies ballet has its fingers in (all of them. all of the pies.) by something much more immediate. "O...oh!" Yua exclaims, a blush colouring her dark cheeks. "Oh, yes, of course! I-it was just a general statement! Ahahaha!"

She does find the time to add, though, for Lisa particularly: "Especially to be having a baby, you mean? You are right, actually." Her high school girls might well be looking up to her, after all. "In most cases, it would be better to wait a few more years before thinking of a family... my situation is just a little unique." Delicately speaking.

Hey, wait, Lisa was trying to walk it back and be delicate and Yua just completely didn't notice--!!!

... but that's pretty normal, for Ijuuin-sensei. Sometimes she can be... kind of stuck in her thinking, or a little too literal... but then again, she doesn't seem to do that kind of thing to pick on anyone. Some people, apparently, are just Like That.

"But from the top -- let us introduce Kashihara-kun to the barre and plies!" Yua bustles over there, to demonstrate the turning out of the feet and bending of the knees.

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

"Club type dancing? As in a school club?" Jun wonders at Lisa, puzzled. ...It's not like Club Zodiac is his scene this time around. He smiles at the respect in her tone when she comments on how hard ballet is. The difficulty makes it an interesting challenge, and if it's enough as long as he doesn't plan on dancing ballet professionally, he is interested.

"Then if you would please, sensei," he says to Yua, bowing once. He rises to watch her feet as she instructs him. Seeing it up close, he thinks he can already understand what she means about bone development... Those look like some very difficult postures for someone to just start at one day. At least as a teenager, Jun still has some youthful flexibility.

So it's reassuring when Yua shows off the same movements but more on his level. "Ah! I see," he says. He doesn't have a notebook on him to take notes, so he'll simply have to memorize the positions. It'll probably be easier once he starts going through the motions himself, anyway.

Less easy: listening to Lisa and Yua both misunderstand the other as they each try to take off the social responsibility of the conversation and put it on themself. Jun's theoretical sweatdrop is growing heavier and heavier. At length, he coughs delicately into one hand.

"...Yes, I believe I'm ready to start," he says. He takes position on the bar behind Yua and nods to Lisa to join them if she so wishes--from the top. The barre and the plies... He'll do his best to mimic the motions at Yua's instruction. Un, deux, trois...!

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

"Nah, like..." Lisa remembers she's not allowed to go Out so much anymore, and says, "Well, it's not something I do a lot anymore anyway!"

Yua explains... And also picks up on what she was saying. Which Lisa prepares to be cringing at, but instead, "Oh... that's OK, sensei," she says of her unique situation. "I didn't mean to pry or anything. But I'm definitely not in a rush."

To put it mildly!

Barre and plies! Lisa will in fact step up after Jun's salvation slash cough.

"Right!" Lisa says. "So, it's like this...!"

...Luckily, it won't keep her down for long.
