It's after school time at Seven Sisters Academy. Clubs were still in session but some were still fleeing to the comforts of home.
However, one sticks out as he marches into the courtyard. For one thing he seems to be heading into the school rather than out. For the other thing, his pale blue Kasugayama uniform and blue hair stuck out and drew eyes toward him.
Some already knew this was Eikichi Mishina, the male partner to prettiest girl in school(according to all Eikichis surveyed--just this one) Miyabi Hanakouji. Their romance was one of those aspirational "good girl meets bad boy" stories people liked to keep track of. Meaning only some of the people are surprised to see Eikichi as he makes his way along the courtyard.
Eikichi slouches as he grins widely, nodding to anyone who glances his way. He wasn't here to make war...No, Eikichi was here to surprise his darling girlfriend and walk her home once the Newspaper club was out. He finally stops near the entrance and finds a wall to lean. He pulls out his harmonica and begins to jam.

Lisa Silverman does not have time for clubs these days. Neither do her closest friends! They got work to do! ...But she's still here, because she had to stay after about a schoolwork thing with Ms. Ideal...
Good thing there's nothing weird about a history teacher!
Lisa's still in her Sevens uniform when she walks out of the building, and she hears... harmonica.
"What is that--"
She blinks, and stares at Eikichi when she sees him.
...There's soemthing about him. Something... familiar. Something...
"What're you doing here?" she blurts out first.
This will go well, and with no problems.

Eikichi stops when he hears someone address him. He stares at her for a moment.
She felt familiar. The kind of familiar that stuck to a shadow in the back of his mind. He blinks as he feels a light headache as he tries to come up with an answer. The answer felt too dangerous to engage with.
Finally, Eikichi shakes his head out of the trance. As he snaps back to reality, he stares again, wide eyed. "Uhhh did I get transported to America?"
Might as well try out his English, he thinks.
"HEYLO I MISHINA EIKICHI VERY FRIEND! BIG ROCK STAR MAN YES! GAS CHAMBER NUMBER 1 BAND EVAR HOOOOOOOOOO" Eikichi strikes a confident pose as if he just dropped expert wisdom on the girl he just met.
To be clear, Eikichi currently believes that something magic, maybe his harmonica, transported him to America on some sort of Isekai adventure.

Lisa blinks a few more times. Eikichi stands out, and not to her entirely in a good way. But before she can think about why he seems familiar--
Something else familiar happens. "What?" she asks, in Japanese, when he asks if he was transported.
"Kehhei!" This is also not English. Lisa recoils visibly. "What's with this English all of a sudden!? We're in Japan, dumbass!"
Still Japanese.
"I don't have any idea what you just said except--"
The name.
"You're that Boss from Cuss High!"
She...
Doesn't actually know the quality of his English. Because hers isn't any better.

Eikichi blinks when she responds twice in fluent Japanese. He tilts his head as he is so confused. When he's called a 'dumbass', his smile twitches very slightly. He is still trying to puzzle out how this was Japan and how some white girl was talking like a gal.
'You're that boss from Cuss high'
Eikichi snaps to attention when he hears 'Cuss' high. He really didn't love that nickname they had for his school. He sighs and shakes his head. She's from America, she doesn't know any better, Eikichi.
"Yeah. That's me. KASU-GA-YAMA's Death Boss, Eikichi Mishina. Hiya....Oh..." He stops for a moment and looks off to the side as if he realizes something. It had to be that. Why else would she approach him?
"I'm sorry, America Girl but you were lured here by my song but my heart belongs to another." He poses and there seems to be a cascade of sparkles that might only exist in his mind. He smiles and puts his hand to his heart. "I'm here to pick her up after her club activities. True love you see."

Dumbass!!
"Right, right, whatever," Lisa says of the school's name, but then. Then, he seems to realize something. Lisa sighs, because finally he's going to say something that makes sense. Except--
"Fanna! America Girl!? Don't give me a lame nickname like that! I'm from Japan!"
"And--WHAT!?"
"Ng Hai! Did the fumes from your hair dye cook your brain??? Why would I, Lisa Silverman, be interested in YOU?"
Pause. "Ohhhhhhhh, wait. I get it... I heard Hanakouji-san had a boyfriend from..."
"That's you??? How'd you end up with a girl like her???"

Eikichi makes a face when he's asked if they dyed his brain. If he didn't know any better, this American girl was just some kogal from Japan. He then hears her name and snaps an points. "The hell kind of Japanese name is Lisa Silverman? And clearly there is a language barrier because I just said I have girlfriend. That said...you are saying very hurtful things so perhaps you should learn some more polite conversational Japanese. YOU CAN DO IT!"
Eikichi gives her a thumbs up, feeling himself almost trip when she questions his relationship.
"Not that it isn't your business but we have a whimsical romance that many consider to be "life goals"...As for how I won her..."
Eikichi stops for a moment. Recalling his childhood self and Miyabi. He smiles whistfully. "Extremely lucky that a lug like me gets a girl like her....That said, I'm more than just a simple guy. I'm the future rock star of a generation! The toughest guy in Kasugayama! The Delicate Rose of Gas Chamber!"
"But work hard and your Japanese can be polite and cool." He says helpfully.

"The kind of Japanese name that I was born with!!" She's a little sensitive about that one. "I KNOW HOW TO BE POLITE!"
But she's definitely not doing it. A 'whimsical' romance. Lisa makes a gagging noise and gesture. "She's gotta get her eyes checked..."
Pause. "Ugh," Lisa says. "Nevermind. That's sweet. Fanna, that a guy like you is all lovey-dovey with her..."
Barf. "Whaaat?" she asks then. "You, a rose??? More like a durian."
She flails. "I bet my grades in Japanese Lit are better than yours!" she protests. "And whatever, 'rock star'. I'm actually in music, and there's no way they'd go for someone like you!"
"Besides, tough? Death Boss, more like Brain Dyed Boss."

Eikichi blinks and gestures with his finger. "Oh, hun...you haven't been polite so no you don't."
The Death Boss is losing patience as she goes on with her dressing down. His smile begins to fade into a grimace as each insult seems to just prod him in just the right annoying way.
She wasn't being a naive foreigner. She was being -mean-! Eikichi eye twitches as she continues, only pausing to praise how he's lovey dovey with Miyabi. She wasn't blind...wait. She says they won't want him in music?! Wha wha WHAT?!
"You are being very irritating and I'm beginning to think it isn't because you don't know the language well." Eikichi flashes some teeth as he continues. "You think you are worth more cuz you got better grades than me? What kind of weird metric for people you have you..."
Eikichi mentally reach for a mean nickname. It's as if some force hands him the one he comes up with. It as if the wind whispers one name...
"you Ginko!" Eikichi smiles, pleased with himself.

"Don't call me that!" Lisa snaps. But when he grimaces, she at least has that much satisfaction. But then--irritating?
"RIGHT?" Lisa says. "I know the language fine! I grew up speaking it!"
But the grades--
"What? No, I just mean my Japanese is probably better than yours, you--"
Lisa stops, stunned. Something about what just happened--it's so familiar. It's a huge sensation of deja vu. She stares for another moment. Then....
"Don't give me a lame nickname like that!" Ginko complains. "You're the one who's brain dyed! BRAIN DYED BRAIN DYED!"

Eikichi blinks when she mentions growing up speaking the language. "Eh? I gotta say that's some dye job cuz you look like a LISA SILVERMAN" He says her name in very heavily accented English, even leaning into it to make a point.
"Nah, you were judging my worth by your academic prowess. Wow. You are clearly not the Yamato Nadeshiko type are ya?" Eikichi nods, knowing she probably meant better but this girl was starting to piss him off. Might as well twist the knife a little.
"GINKO GINKO!" Eikichi yells to match 'Ginko's' insults.
He winces a little when things feel a little too familiar.

"I was still born here, dumbass!! And what's that sound!? So what if I'm blonde!? At least I have a real hair color! You're blue!"
Judging! "You're damned right I'm not!" Lisa shouts back. "Why can't you be nice like that other boy from your school!?"
"BRAIN-DYED!"
She winces, too.
"..."
"...This is weird," she says. "You're weird. Whatever. I've got practice to get to anyway. Practice, for my music career. Because unlike you I have a music career."

"Yeah Blue is awesome. Everyone who counts has blue hair! Unlike Blonde, which is usually the America extra....LISA SILVERMAN" He says it again, trying to get under her skin for some reason. It felt right somehow.
"Nice boy? You mean Kashihara? Yeah he's great...Not like the rest of us, heheheh" Eikichi is pretty proud of Kashihara being himself in a pit like Kasugayama.
"Eh? What kind of music would want some white kogal Ginko?! Well good for you! We're gonna be bigger than whatever weird ass music you got!"

"BRAIN-DYED BOSS!" Ginko shouts back. Somehow it does feel right to yell at him. ...But that seems weird, too. Whatever.
"Yeah! Is he the only one with manners at your whole school!?"
"MUSES would," Lisa answers Eikichi. "And I gotta get back to--"
Well she doesn't actually have practice right now, because it's finals. But--
"If anybody's music is ass it's yours, Brain-Dyed!!"
"Ugh, whatever!! Have fun with your GIRLFRIEND, you lame jerk!"
She moves to storm off.
