<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

Yua's not doing well, but Miho still has demands on her as an executive at Katou Corporation; it's not so easy to take spontaneous time off indefinitely. As much as she might want to stay with Yua...

... Yua says she'll be all right if Remi comes to visit, so Miho's only recourse is to arrange help. Her request for aid comes with a brief on what just happened, luckily; that Yua had returned to the Blacksite to protect her husband from being summoned there and subsequently harmed, that they wanted her to assign a robotic girl to her care and in service of it, and that the woman who orchestrated it was Natari Konishi.

Yua wasn't really any use in making breakfast, today, but thoughtfully, Eiko prepared everything in the fridge -- and Miho made sure Yua ate before she had to leave for work, too.

The good news is, even after Miho went to work, Yua wasn't alone -- even before Eiko reported for her eight-in-the-morning start. No, now, there's --

"Yo!" The girl who greets Remi when she steps inside is young, perhaps fifteen. Despite her cheerful tone, she doesn't look happy to see her, with a face which could assuredly scare smaller children... especially when she grins. (It's all teeth. She has the right amount of teeth, as it happens.) Her skin is markedly yellowed, her hair is the greener side of teal, and her eyes are striking red. Her nose is broad, her eyebrows are bushy, and she apparently just looks perpetually pissed off.

Look a little closer at her eyes, and they seem a little inhuman; get distracted by that, and you might miss the fact that her feet end in claws, a far more blatant tell.

Thankfully, Eiko managed to purchase some basic clothes for her, yesterday, so she's now in a white sailor dress which fits.

"Ain't that Remi? Like you said, Yumama? Yeah! That's her!" The girl insists, bouncing on those claw feet, as Yua makes her way to the door with somewhat less exuberance. "I found her!"

Yua giggles, fingers veiling her lips -- her unpainted lips, Remi will note, and her lack of makeup forms a different picture to the one she projects with her calm warmth. (She's not wearing her leotard, today, either... she's in a thin dark turtleneck over a long skirt, instead, all that skin which she prefers to let breathe now covered up.) "Tykko! When you're talking to someone, you should use an honourific with their name... it's polite!" For all she chides her, though, she does it gently; the direction she provides is given with care.

"Huh? But don't you just say, like... Tykko and Mimi and Recchi?" Tyrrha asks, tilting her head, the shaggy bangs to either side of her ponytail flopping over her face, revealing pearl earrings pierced through the top of her ears.

"When you give someone a nickname, it carries your regard for them inside it," Yua explains, smiling, as she comes up beside the girl and lifts a hand to her shoulder. (This strange girl is a whole four inches taller than the ballerina -- closer to Remi's line of sight.) "But when you just use their name, honourifics tell the world what regard you're holding for them."

"Oh... okay, cool! Hey, Remi-chan!" The girl tries again, cheerfully, and apparently completely blind to the age dynamics.

Yua giggles, again, with a look to Remi, silently urging her to speak her own honourific comfort. Rather than say that, she instead leads with: "Like you said, Tykko, this is Remi Ryuuja! She's one of my very best friends!" And with that introduction done, she gestures to the girl, beside her. "And this is Tyrrha," she gets a word in edgewise to introduce her, finally. "She's, ah... an artificial girl," Yua settles on, delicately, feeling awkward about describing her as a robot, "but she's really just like us."

Yua doesn't just mean 'them' as in flesh and blood, of course, just as Miho's advised Remi.

Tyrrha comes from the Blacksite, too.

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

Remi is, of course, always more than happy to come visit Yua. (Leaving aside all manner of complicated feelings about her recent hospital visit--and the trip back to the accursed labs.) And, luckily, her schedule happens to be far more flexible than Miho's. Remi should be learning the inner workings of her family's corporation, but, alas, she is not.

She was informed, but still she is a bit startled to see the newest resident of the household when she arrives. She gives Tyrrha an appraising look--she will note the face, the outfit, and lastly those claws.

She has spent the last three and a half years being trained to attack all manner of supernatural threats--and sadly Tyrrha registers, at first blush, as not human. But she also remembers Miho's words, and she carefully manages those feelings to set them aside.

And then she remembers a moment later she hasn't emoted, and smiles widely. "Why hello, dear. You must be the one I've heard so much about. It's a pleasure to meet you." Remi is dressed today in much her usual: black beret, turtleneck, and skirt, gray tights, a long green cardigan that brings out the flecks of green in her brown eyes, paired with matching nail polish and ankle boots. Her own makeup is light, and her honey blonde hair is loose in waves down her back.

And then Tyrrha identifies her--by first name, and yobisute. Remi notes it, but doesn't immediately move to make a correction--she's looking to Yua first, to see her reaction. But her tone is light and playful as she says, "Why yes, you've found me out. I see my reputation precedes me."

But it is a less performative and warmer smile that she has for Yua when she spots her friend, moving over to give her a hug. "Yua-chan, darling, it is so good to see you."

She listens to the exchange on honorifics, and ven manages a soft chuckle at being addressed as Remi-chan. But there is also an introduction. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Tyrrha-kun. I feel I should tell you, however, that most adults will not appreciate being called -chan from a teenager, and especially not with their first name. But since I am such a close friend of your... mother."

There's no getting around it, that feels a little weird to say, but she caught that 'Yumama' earlier.

Still, she looks to Yua, giving her own look of 'If you're okay with that?' "... and since I do hope that we can become good friends as well, rather than insist on 'Ryuuja-san', I am happy to accept 'Remi-chan.'"

Is that a good balance to accept? Remi... does not know. This is a crash course in 'interacting with a friend's children' for her, and the additional complication of having skipped fifteen years of getting to know her. And she's also a robot, which makes this more awkward, and...

'She's really just like us.'

Remi is thoughtful for a moment, nodding as she looks Tyrrha over again. "Yes, I see."

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

Tyrrha, as it happens, doesn't even realise Remi's flat affect is anything weird or notable. She has two examples of how people are up here on the surface, and one of 'em's Miho. She can only conclude that a lack of expression is how people normally are, and putting on a face is a deliberate choice.

Yua sees it, though. And when Remi moves to hug her -- "Recchi!" -- she gives her a supportive little squeeze, and assures her, at a whisper, "she's okay."

So, too, does she give Remi a little nod, at that confirmational glance.

Tyrrha doesn't notice it; she's busy lacing her hands behind her head and nodding along. "Adults want their last name -san'd? Alrighty! But for you, it's Remi-chan!" Did -- did she not know that?

"Why don't we go sit down?" Yua suggests, then. She is slow to move, a touch deliberate, as if sore.

As they come to the lounge, though, it's not Tiger sprawled there; it's one of those fancy robotic remote controlled toys, and man, they must have gotten fancier since Remi was a kid. Shaped like a velociraptor, with a fierce fluffy ruff like a lion around its neck and a tail and front claws more reminiscent of a pangolin, it's roughly chicken-sized -- which makes it smaller than Tiger, as it happens -- it turns its head to them, and opens its jaws to reveal needle little teeth in a big grin. "Rar!"

Yua reaches out to grasp Remi's arm, as that little mechanical creature comes into view; and she makes it look quite natural, like she just needs some support on her feet, but it's a far more deliberate action. "Tykko has a pet," she explains, quickly. "He's very nice."

"Heyyy! You figured out how to get on the couch? Good job, little guy!" Tyrrha chirps, as she bounds over to pick him up (for he is, apparently, a he), hugging him to her chest like a silver metallic teddy bear.

Yua, meanwhile, looks at the claw scratches which got him up there, and sighs, pressing her free hand to her cheek... though she's still smiling. "Well, I guess it's no worse than Tiger must have been as a kitten... just train him to be a little more graceful, all right?"

"He'll be good," Tyrrha promises, cheerfully, before she turns to Remi and holds him out. "This is Welwetes! He's my weapons array, but winter's coming, so I'm gonna train him to fetch slippers."

"Rar!" Welwetes opines, his hindclaws dangling below him.

"Ah, Tykko..." Yua pauses, lifting a hand. "It's fine if it's around Recchi, but you really shouldn't say things like how Welwetes is your weapon so freely... fighting is a secret, okay?"

"Oh, sure," Tyrrha grins, accepting it easily. "But he can still fetch slippers, right?"

"Of course!" Yua assures her, her smile brightening. "That's so cute! Don't you think?" She asks, looking to Remi, as she steps forward to lower herself down into a chair -- both hands grasping the armrests, in a deliberate and careful descent.

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

Remi does try to hide the fact that sometimes, it is difficult for her to emote. The lab's experiments didn't always have perfectly clean results, unfortunately. Luckily, acting and social graces can help her fake it well enough, but that's still an extra effort for her, sometimes.

Yua gives that extra squeeze--ahh, so did she catch that? Remi will try not to let a reaction betray on her face, just giving Yua a squeeze in turn--carefully, of course.

But Tyrrha repeats the rule, and Remi nods. "Exactly so, dear. There are other honorifics, of course, but -san should serve you well as a starting point when addressing adults in most cases."

Yua wishes to sit, and Remi doesn't blame her one bit. "Of course, dear, here, let us go make ourselves more comfortable." She will help Yua to a seat if needed.

And it's a good thing she offered that help, since that makes it more convenient for Yua to hold on--which is fortunate because Remi froze as she saw the small, robotic creature. And she was definitely evaluating it as a threat. But the squeeze gets her attention, and she looks at Yua a bit distractedly as her friend explains. "A... pet."

Okay, Remi. You're here to be supportive for Yua. Don't overreact. Don't make a big deal about this.

"How... lovely!" Remi says with a smile that is only a little forced. "It is a delight to meet you, Welwetes." She looks to Yua, her voice turning low-key concerned, though she's mostly just being conversational. "I do hope Tiger isn't terribly put out by his new... housemate?" Is that the right word? It's the word she's using.

Fetching slippers. "I see, I see. I'm sure that will be quite helpful." She waits until Tyrrha and Welwetes aren't looking and then mouths to Yua. 'Weapons platform?'

She'll help Yua sit if she wants it, and then Yua asks her if she thinks it's cute. Remi can see how Yua would find it cute, but she herself is still getting used to it. "Well he is certainly striking. I can honestly say I've never seen a..." She pauses. "Hmm. And what type of pet, might one call him?"

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"So that's how it is, huh...? Cool!" Tyrrha, at least, seems pretty laid back; she takes on this new information about honourifics quite cheerfully.

Yua hums, "mmhm!", affirmatively, when Remi confirms whether that is a pet. (Close enough.) "Tiger's sulking right now," Yua admits, with a touch of a pout, before she assures Remi: "... but I'm sure he'll come out and meet him soon. Don't worry! It's only been two days!"

This is, in fact, completely normal for a cat given literally any change made to their household, let alone the sudden addition of girl plus weird robot toy.

'Don't worry,' Yua mouths back, to Remi, helpfully.

Luckily, Welwetes doesn't have to claw his way onto the couch this time, because Tyrrha just lifts him up to hold him on her lap. "He's an autonomous assault assistant!" Tyrrha explains, cheerfully. "He has the equivalent bite force of a lion, and his claws are deadly slashing weapons, just like a dinosaur! He's the Welwetes prototype," she holds him up, rubbing her cheek against his mane. "It means 'Lion'. Cool, huh? Since I guess they couldn't install any weapons on me without the previous versions goin' blat, they just put them in another robot. Oh, but don't worry," she adds, putting the weird little robot back on her lap. "I still have power! And, I mean, it's not like I can't punch."

Yua's smile dimmed, for a moment, hearing blat, but she wears a supportive smile for Tyrrha again a second later. "Why don't we call him a toy while you're outside, Tykko? Normal people don't really understand anything about that..."

"Huh? Didn't you say not to go outside?" Tyrrha asks, tilting her head. (Welwetes tilts his in the opposite direction. It is objectively pretty cute.)

"Ah -- just until we get your feets all sorted out, okay?" Yua clarifies, lifting one of hers, demonstratively. (Underneath her house slippers, she's still wearing those damnable feet prisons.)

        (You know.)

        (Compression socks.)

Tyrrha lifts her foot, in turn, claws wriggling. "Ohhh, right," she realises looking from her foot to Yua's. "Dandy man said he'd get that to us, right?"

"That's right," Yua confirms, before she adds, to Remi: "Ah, she means Para-Mind." That is to say: the outrageously homosexual man who serves as one of the New World Order's data analysts, offering Yua operational support on pretending to be a teacher and delivering the Blacksite's innovations to them. He's a force of chaos with a mane of orange hair, and he's definitely not loyal to them, but that's just because he's not really loyal to anyone.

His name probably (definitely) isn't Para-Mind. One presumes it is also not 'dandy man', but if that's how Tyrrha called people back in the lab, maybe it's not so strange how she doesn't know about basic things like honourifics.

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

"Mmhmm." Remi trusts Yua will teach Tyrrha when other honorifics might be more appropriate.

But Tiger is sulking. "Oh, the poor dear. Well, I do hope he and Welwetes get along... Perhaps I shall seek the little darling out later to make sure he's okay." Tiger is big and warm. Sorry, Welwetes, but Tiger still has that over you.

Remi gives Yua a look that, somehow, communicates 'I shall try not to worry abut I am, in fact, still a little bit worried.'

The explanation doesn't exactly do much to lessen Remi's worries. "I see..." She files 'bite strength of a lion' and 'deadly slashing claws' away in case she ever ends up on the business end of that robot. "'Lion'? Well, I suppose he could have a certain regal bearing about him."

She looks to Yua again and mouths 'Blat?'

Previous versions. Remi files that away, too. Just what is the NWO up to??

And she has power of her own, of some kind. And punches. "I wouldn't doubt it for a moment, dear."

Outside, though... sadly, Remi can't do anything for those claws. But it seems a solution might be in the works regardless. And Yua provides more useful clarification. "Ah, yes, I see. I suppose he would be the one responsible for that, wouldn't he?" And yes, Remi is getting a little bit better picture of the situation.

"So, Tyrrha-kun..." Remi is fishing for a conversation topic. "... what kinds of things do you like to do? Do you have any hobbies, or...?" She glances to Yua. This is a safe topic, right? It should be pretty innocuous, but given the circumstances, she's not really sure.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"I'll get him out of our room for you!" Yua promises Remi, because of course Tiger is hiding in Miho's room.

It's okay, Remi. Yua's more worried than she's letting on. And perhaps Remi can figure out just why; it's not that Yua is comfortable enough to chat cheerfully and casually, after all those awful things which happened.

She's just not going to make a child do the emotional labour of supporting her.

Even if that child is a robot...

Yua grimaces, slightly, with a little shake of her head; blat is a sad fate, she thinks.

Tyrrha cants her head, thoughtfully. "Ummmm..." She starts, her legs swinging against the couch, for a moment, as she verbalises her thinking process. "I... don't remember!" This, she advances quite cheerfully. "Don't worry 'bout it, I forgot a lot of stuff," she adds, smiling. "I don't even remember how Yumama's my mom to begin with! But the boss said she was, so she's gotta be, right?"

Yua feels a knot of something, in her stomach, as Tyrrha invokes the boss; feeling herself step to the side of where she's sitting, though she hasn't left her chair, she cuts in. "Well, if you don't remember, you'll just have to find a new passion! Didn't you take one of Mimi's books back to your room to investigate it yesterday? Why don't you go and read some more, and see if you can't find something you like?"

Tyrrha grins -- it's all teeth, but there are, at least, the right amount of them -- as she hops up, carrying Welwetes in her arms. "Sounds good! I'll go read another chapter of 'The Sengoku Period'!"

"There you go," Yua smiles, to her. "You can come back and tell us what you liked most, all right?"

"Alrighty!" Tyrrha offers a loose salute, and ambles off down the hall, to what used to be one of the spare rooms, last week. (Remi would know; Yua does invite her over for dinner quite regularly. Even if the camera doesn't catch it often!)

It's only after her door closes that Yua's expression drops, looking down at her hands, folded in her lap.

"Please," she says, more quietly, "don't ask who 'that woman' is."

(And that's something else Remi would surely have heard, when Miho explained the situation: Natari's gone on the attack again, but Yua can't even bear to say her name.)

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

"That would be lovely dear, as long as Tiger will be comfortable, thank you." Remi wouldn't have imagined there could be much that would make Tiger skittish, given his size, but... a robot velociraptor would certainly do it.

Remi would be more concerned if Yua wasn't worried, given the circumstances. But Remi is doing her best to put on a brave face, of course, and she imagines Yua must be doing the same.

Remi gives a short nod, to acknowledge Yua's shake of the head at 'blat'.

Tyrrha doesn't remember, and Remi... isn't sure how to take that. Is that expected, for a robot? Or is 'I don't have any yet' a more appropriate answer? She's not an expert in machines or robotics, so she honestly isn't sure. "Yes," Remi echoes Yua. "It is never too late to discover a new one... and reading is a fine pastime--one I happen to be quite fond of myself. If you like, I can share a few of my favorites..."

The Sengoku Period. Oh dear--not even a fiction book? Then again, perhaps the history text will be beneficial in some way...

"Do enjoy yourself, dear!" she calls as Tyrrha and Welwetes leave for their room.

Remi lets out a sigh as the door closes. Yua asks, and Remi is quick to reply. "Of course not." She got the warning. "now, how are you, truly?" Remi makes to get up. "And, can I get you anything? Perhaps some tea?"

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"I can do it," Yua assures Remi, and -- well, it's kind of hard for her to wink with one eye, but that long blink was surely meant as one. "I've got a secret weapon... kitty treats!"

Yua isn't sure how she's going to repeat that magic with Welwetes, who, unlike Tyrrha, doesn't even appear to be able to optionally eat. She tried making a list of ideas, last night, when Miho encouraged her at the distraction. It looked something like this, all written in kawaii ballpoint:

        - Screws? Are screws snacks for robots?
        - Magnets? (This option was crossed out, with a note scrawled next to it: 'Mimi says computers hate magnets!!!!')
        - I think robots like sheep right? Baa, ram!
        - Maybe he likes being polished...?

... the list was ultimately inconclusive, but it at least got decorated with a cute flower border.

"Recchi's real good at books!" Yua says, cheerfully. And this, at least, is true, even if her smile is a bit of a lie, right now. Tyrrha will remember that, but for now... she has to finish her first book!

"I will!" She calls over her shoulder as she departs, and it seems entirely likely that she unironically will.

Yua, though -- Yua's shoulders sink with her long sigh, as Remi replies so quickly. "Thanks," she says, with that visible relief. "I, um... I must have a lot of feelings, but it's kind of hard to look at them... Mimi said to look at what stuff's like right here when I go somewhere else, though, and, that helps. Like... like the walls are grey? They're not white... they're grey." Yua does manage to smile, a little, though her actual smiles are markedly more wan. "Actually, it's French grey... don't you think that kinda makes them Recchi coloured?"

Congratulations, Yua, on making an elegant neutral wall colour cute.

"Mm... ginger tea?" Yua asks, a hand resting at her belly. (Her turtleneck is big enough for that; she's well into her second trimester, at this point.) "It's better for my tummy... and a hot thing sounds nice. Let's have some tea, Recchi..."

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

"Ahh, of course, the surefire way to any animal's heart must surely be through their stomach." Remi smiles, and takes the blink for the wink it was intended as. "I do imagine this must be quite an adjustment for him," she murmurs.

Remi will be at a bit of a loss for what constitutes a robot snack. Her only guess might be some oil, to keep the joints lubricated.

"Well I have been known to dabble with a book or two," Remi demurs modestly.

Tyrrha will unironically enjoy reading the book, it seems. That's... probably okay?

Her own good cheer dims some, once Tyrrha and Welwetes are gone, though she's still trying to keep some up for Yua's sake. "To focus on what's here... it seems a sensible solution, yes." French gray. Remi chuckles a bit at that, "Well, it is a rather elegant shade, I must agree."

"Ginger tea sounds like a lovely idea, dear," says Remi as she gets up and moves towards the kitchen. "And it should do for me to get some practice brewing... I've picked up a new part-time job, that I'll be starting soon."

Remi will brew the tea, and then bring back a tray with the pot and two saucers on it, quickly pouring for them both and then retaking her seat. "There is this new cafe that has opened in Akihabara, see. It promises to be... an interesting experience."

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"He'll be okay," Yua says, her voice warm. "I'll take care of him."

And she is, at least, managing to maintain her nurturing vibe, but -- well, everything's hard, right now.

"Mm, mm," Yua hums, when Remi underlines the value of grounding, and it is both affirmation and regulation. "It's fancy! Hiroki's room is blue, though... we're going to put beach stuff on there when we can find a painter." The wheel of inevitability turns... Masao's clock tolls another doomed hour.

She tilts her head, so she can better listen to Remi, out in the kitchen. "Another baito... congratulations!" Yua does manage some enthusiasm for that; she says 'congratulations' in English, too, to better underline it. When Remi gets that tea brewed and brings it over, Yua leans forward, to take a cup; she curls her hands around it, blowing on the steam. She's not natively rich, so she forgot about the saucer...

(Luckily, Miho only owns insulated cups, so she's not going to hurt herself holding the hot teacup like that.)

"Akibahara's always full of so many neat things," Yua says, though it's a touch distant, as she looks down at her tea. "It's almost been a year, but I'm still surprised all the time by new stuff that got popular while we weren't looking..."

Their phones are like little computers in their pockets now.

"... that's why I want to save Tykko, Recchi," Yua says, after a long moment's pause, looking back up to her. "I know you might need to feel on guard, but... she doesn't know what the world's like now, either. Actually, I don't know if she ever knew what the world was like... in the first place. She may have been created by... by that woman, but... that's all the more reason to help her. Even if she didn't... treat her like... me..." And here, another silence, marked by her parted lips. "... regardless," Yua shakes her head, as she gets a grip, "spending a lifetime with that woman is a miserable existence."

She takes a moment, then, to breathe the ginger in. "It feels weird to suddenly call a girl I just met my mother... but if she needs a mother to take her from that place, I'll do it without hesitation."

        Sip. Pause. Sip...

"It's good," Yua smiles, at length. "I don't feel sick... I'm happy about that!"

It's one small thing, at least, she can be happy about.

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

Yua's nurturing vibe is one of Yua's best qualities... though Remi would understand if it were stressed, given the circumstances. (The extent of Remi's nurturing these days is a trio of succulents she tends to in her apartment.)

"Blue and with a beach theme... that will be a lovely combination, I think."

"Why thank you, dear," Remi calls back. Remi didn't forget about the saucer, as it turns out, but she does look briefly concerned. "Yua-chan, darling, if the cup grows too hot, feel free to use the saucer." After she takes a sip of her own she lets out a sigh of her own. "It is one of these themed cafes, you see--I shall e playing the part of a butler. I have a suit ready and everything." She might even sound a little excited about the prospect, too, even if it is markedly outside anything of her previous experience.

But then, she always did enjoy losing herself in a role.

"Yes... to think so much changed in such a short period of time... I find myself continually amazed by the new discoveries." A longer pause, and then a sigh. What might things be like, if they had not had those years stolen from them?

"There is no need to worry about me, Yua-chan. I shall... adapt." And it's not like Remi could hurt Tyrrha, after all. She is 'like them' in that way that means her conditioning will protect her, too.

As another of the NWO's assets.

But she listens, and ponders that. "I am curious why they would create-- someone like her." But she regards Yua for a moment. "You truly are kind-hearted, dear, to be willing to take her in so readily. I must admit, I am not certain I would be equal to the task... at least, not as far as on the front of being a mother to her." Taking someone into her apartment might be doable--and she would do it, without question, to take them out of that wretched library.

But Yua feels better, and Remi gives her a warm smile. "I am certainly happy to hear that, dear. Hopefully my customers shall like it, as well."

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"Oh," Yua blinks, looking to the saucer. "I forgot... but it's okay, it's not too hot." She smiles, though, hearing Remi share the theme of the cafe. "Wow, a butler costume! I bet you'll look great, Recchi! Just like drama club!"

She looks happy about Hiroki's room, too. Remi likes it, too! Yay!!

Despite all those new discoveries, though, they're like each other; and there is a reason for Tyrrha, too. "They... they say it's so she can fight for me," Yua starts, sounding uncertain. "Since I'm pregnant... it's not safe for me to be on the front lines any more. Mm, though I can't just stay home, either... I can't ask her to fight and not keep an eye on her... but I can at least stay back?"

Yua's clearly troubled by the idea of sending a girl designated her daughter out to fight, but...

"This is what I can do," Yua decides, nodding to herself. "I... I have to be able to do something."

She looks a touch distant, as she wonders whether that's too ambitious, but...

"Tell me about your new cafe, Recchi," Yua decides, looking to her. "Let's... focus on good things right now!" And so, Yua will absorb all those details about Remi's new coworkers and environment; and if she isn't always the most clever in her responses, well, that's okay.

Remi has a sense of what she's distracting herself from, after all.
