"Risking our lives to stop rotten adults... That's why we're Phantom Thieves!"
Futaba Sakura endured the loss of her mother and the neglect of her family, finding hope and new reason to live thanks to the Phantom Thieves. A terminally online girl, Futaba prefers to speak to text and remains something of a shut-in, despite profound ability with the networked electronics of the modern world. Those who crack through the ice (or engage with her on topics of supreme importance, such as Featherman) will see an enthusiastic, oddly innocent personality... at least until the topic drifts.
Previous Info
- Quote: "This would never have happened if I hadn't been so selfish..."
- Profile: A furtive shut-in, Futaba Sakura lives in the shadow of traumas she has difficulty articulating. Voracious curiosity and great technical talent failed to find the truth behind the tragedy, and now she hides as best she can, sheltered by those who don't know how else to help and struggling with her inner demons. Even the glimmering networks of life online grow more and more distant, but although she has abandoned her attempts to hack for justice, she might be able to find something to hold onto. If she's lucky. In her abundant free time, she absorbs huge swaths of obscure and niche material, trying to ride the high of nerdy enthusiasm before the memories come back.
Persona
Necronomicon
- Info: A fictional work of sanity-blasting black magic, the Necronomicon was said to be written by "the Mad Arab," Abdul al-Hazred. First imagined by American author H. P. Lovecraft, he encouraged others to refer to the text freely... and so, nightmares of the Necronomicon continue to spread!
- Description: A genuine flying saucer?! Alien metal with obscure green markings, five peculiar glowing lights, and a single ominous port... from which black and writhing tentacles emerge, encompassing the innocent heroine and raising her to the SEAT OF POWER! No you can't come in.
