New Monad: The Inscrutable Region: Mizunagi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The initial disappearance of the Mizunagi is the subject of some scandal and rumor, as by all mundane accounts it was there one minute, gone the next. Co-incidental to the disappearance is a spate of loosely connected rumors concerning ninja princesses and shrines that syncretize the whole affair into one weird, bizarre knot of fate. "To enter the ship and find the shrine, one must first write a chant to the Oni on the back of a kifuda, then paint the entire kifuda black. Walk around a torii gate three times with this talisman, and you'll be able to see through to the world of the morning mist, and the final resting place of the Mizunagi." Entering the Mizunagi via supernatural means is possible via walking around any torii gate leading to a shrine with a specially-made kifuda. However, mundane individuals will occasionally be drawn into the Mizunagi on accident: "It is said that if a question burns in your heart long enough, you will sometimes see a red thread tied around your finger. This thread will lead you to a lonely place not far away from where you are now. Whether it be in an alley or an abandoned shop, in the center of that lonely place will stand a torii gate. Step through that gate and you'll fall into nothing, passing through nine more to a place where your question might be answered... or you might meet a grisly fate." ********** A new monad has opened up called The Inscrutable Region: Mizunagi! Situated in a completely new cognitive area, a wondrous automata of rooms full of secrets awaits! Seek the secret of the shrine or the forge at its heart, rescue civilians and crewmembers who have been caught in its depths, find new treasure, and try to understand the mysteries of this strange place where demons and shadows seem to be incredibly absent. Beware the many mechanical constructs inside that shall try to protect its innards from outsiders, as well as the many rooms that point a finger back at you and ask what you're made of. Expect and rejoice in failure (it is rated H for Hard), and try again and again, if not for yourself, but for the normal people beginning to become trapped within...
