Death is not a hunter unknown to its prey, and Noriaki Okaga, as a dying man, knows it all too well. A person who lives life on the margins, he has as his 'day' job any number of temporary menial gigs when his failing health permits. By 'night', as a member of Strega, he takes to the Dark Hour to fulfill jobs for Revenge Request and for his own purposes as an Artificial Persona User reaching his end. A nasty and vicious person, he lives for the thrill of confrontation and the struggle of life on its thinnest of edges and displays a particular lack of concern for his own well-being in and out of combat.

Overview: Efnysien is a figure in Welsh mythology that features in the tale of Branwen ferch Llyr, the second branch of the Mabinogi; his resentment and cruelty spark the tragedy of the story. Towards the end of the tale, as the Welsh and Irish forces clash, he opts to thwart the Irish use of the magic cauldron Pair Dadeni to revive their dead and hides among the dead Irish warriors. Cast into the cauldron alive, he destroys it and himself.
Description: A hazy outline of a person is half-submerged in a large boiling cauldron packed with mechanical skeletons. In one hand they hold a string that's tied to a small battered and broken rocking horse, which they use as a flail.
Special Talent & Resonance
Noriaki can, by using his Evoker, call nearby mindless Shadows in spaces where there are any to call (e.g. Dark Hour). This is done not by actually controlling them, though. Rather, his resonance becomes so noxious that it feels like a huge 'kill this awful thing' sign to any nearby Shadows. After he's completed calling them, he dips and lets the angry Shadows instead aggro whoever else happens to be in the area. Mechanically, the summoned Shadows are represented by a separate form.
So, what does this mean for any Shadow PCs? Well, nothing mechanical: the enraging effect only works on mindless Shadows. What it feels like, if it feels like anything, is a choice a Shadow PC may make. No reaction is expected at baseline, and there will be no hurt feelings if it is not reacted to.
Special Skills
1. School of Hard Knocks (Understanding): Noriaki's seen some shit. He doesn't have a lot of practical education, but he does understand that when the world knocks you down, you get back up (and maybe even get a shot in on the way if you're quick enough). When it comes to the rough stuff, he gets it (and if nothing else, a little physicality can help 'someone else' understand /his/ point of view if words aren't doing the trick).
2. Frame the Shot (Proficiency): Noriaki's an amateur photographer, and applies these skills to the situation at hand. Light? Direction? Framing? It's all coming together for a great shot.
3. Call of the Void (Guts): Do you hear it? That voice in your head that tells you to jump right when you're on the edge? You know better and so you hold back, but did you ever think about what would happen if you... listened? Self-preservation is in the best interest of the self, but sometimes, to get results, you just need to jump. right. in.
