"Call me Cherry! I'm your super-cute superhero!"

At last, it would seem that Maria has once again found her way. That's the point of view most watching her would have: after a rough year that featured the death of her grandfather, her serious injury during a subway accident, a nasty breakup, a near-escape with the Joker Killer, and her own disappearance, she seems to again have that sparkle in her eye and a pep in her step. In fact, one would say that she's become even more lively than before, like she's come into her own power in some secret, special way. The truth is, of course, that after she had been disappeared into and rescued from her own Kingdom, Maria has awoken to her Persona and her new identity as Cherry, a mysterious rogue of her own making. By day she's a student at Seven Sisters, and by night (or at least after school) a budding explorer of supernatural mysteries! But what comes now? That, among other things, is something Maria is still in the process of discovering.

Overview: Artemisia Gentileschi was an Italian Baroque painter who is well known for her naturalism and control of light and shadow in her artwork, and was the first woman to become a member of the Accademia di Arte del Disegno in Florence. She is also remembered for her rape in 1611, which went to trial as her assailant had damaged the family honor. Later in life, she even traveled to and lived in England for many years as an artist in the court of Charles I. Among her most notable pieces is her depiction of Judith slaying Holofernes.

Description: Artemisia takes the form of a young woman dressed in a fusion of Baroque Venetian formal fashion (mask included) and brightly-colored cyberpunk streetwear. Cables with plugs drape over her shoulders in the manner of a shawl. In one hand she carries a short sword.
