  • Summary: Yua visits the Cardboard Dragon with Remi, to make sure Myunghon is okay... only to break down in front of them, because she isn't okay. Somehow, they manage to keep some vestige of their various masks in place as they balance their childhood friendship against their complicated adult lives.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ooshiro has posed.

Technically speaking, Yua probably shouldn't be here. The NWO are no friends of Myunghon; such a prize as she oughtn't associate with someone they wanted dead badly enough to send Miho, once upon a time.

On the other hand: they've gotten pretty lax on their anti-Myunghon activities, lately. Remi's even got a job here. And Yua might be living in the lap of luxury, but she sure remembers rural living, and the atmosphere of Hirasaka isn't nearly enough to scare her away. So...

Well, if they really had a problem with it, they'd tell her, right?

And maybe it's fine to come here again today -- even after she and the others were fighting Myunghon. She was in disguise, you see. And there's no way Myunghon saw through it!

(Yua was too distracted by her own many horrors to hear Myunghon distinctly talking to Miho as if they knew exactly who she was.)

The door shoves open sometime in the middle of the afternoon, as a diminutive dancer steps inside. She's dressed in her usual black leotard, a black fabric decoration stretching from ring to bracelet on her right hand. "I'm here!", she announces herself, helpfully -- and at least trying to sound in good cheer.

<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.

Myunghon did get home from Mementos. Eventually. It was somewhat late at night, and by 'home' I mean they just went to the Cardboard Dragon anyway, because it's increasingly vibing like their home might not actually exist. They're currently seated on a little throne of discarded, soggy bandages that are a mixture of blood and rainwater, along with like one empty bottle of Dettol and another half-spent and currently tipped over and spilling onto the sad, sad cracked tiles of the Cardboard Dragon.

It's a good thing the sign reads 'CLOSED' right now, outside.

Myunghon is also... SHIRTLESS. My goodness, stop the presses. Their upper torso is currently one third freshly-bandaged, half with a compressing black tanktop-like piece of fabric, and the remaining percentile is old, old scars and scab tissue and debrided flesh.

The scandalous missing dress shirt is somewhere in the pile of blood and rainwater. They have their black suit jacket draped over them like a towel. Their white hair is also still incredibly wet.

Despite this dismal state of affairs, they're mostly fixated on--

        Ants??

There's a line of ants converging on a single Koala March cracker. The Koala seems to be crying out for salvation, but Myunghon is largely watching with all-consuming interest as the ants converge down upon its shell, once thought invisible, now cracked and oozing sugar and cocoa solids, sustenance for said ants.

"Oh. Yuarin. These ants are so interesting... look, they're taking my Koala away."

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

Remi, meanwhile, does not remember 'rural living', and is still making quite a few adjustments. Like, for instance, having a job. It is still an utterly weird, somewhat alien concept to her, but she does her best with it nonetheless.

And getting a job with Myunghon, someone she can divulge her circumstances too, might honestly be a best-case scenario for her, at least. Less awkward questions about her employment history, an understanding of her lack of certain skills...

As for the NWO' stance on Myunghon, or Merry, well... she will politely pretend not to notice, as long as Myunghon continues not to notice who 'Tsurugi' is.

She steps in behind Yua, making sure the door is firmly closed behind them. She's dressed in a black beret, turtleneck, and skirt, with a cardigan on top, paired with thermal tights.

Far too warm for a summer month, and yet she seems unbothered. "Yes, as am I, dear," she says quietly, looking to Myunghon. She doesn't seem bothered by the lack of shirt or the bloody bandages, but she does sigh, nonetheles. "Myunghon, dear, do finish attending your wounds? The..." she glances at the floor. "... ants shall be at it a while yet, I should wager." Her tone is a bit flat, her emotions a bit muted sometimes since her experiences in the lab.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ooshiro has posed.

Myunghon is a mess, and Yua's good cheer crumples instantly, seeing them. "Myucchi!" She says, sternly, as she hurries over to them, more easily startled by their appearance than Remi. (Remi's had more consistent exposure to them, after all, given her work.) "Haven't you been taking care of yourself at all?! Oh, look! You're bleeding!"

At least Yua's light, breezy leotard is Summer-appropriate, even if one might think of her wearing a swimsuit with a skirt everywhere. (It's different, but not that different.) She isn't particularly bothered by Myunghon being shirtless, though. It's not the same as if she were to be shirtless.

"Oooohhhh!! Recchi, where is the medical kit! This is an em-er-gen-CY!" She sounds out each mora in the statement, stomping her lovely black pointe shoe on the last.

She's definitely not going to mention why Myunghon might be more roughed up today.

<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.

"But... I've counted 197 individual ants, Remi..." Myunghon sounds aghast that they're being asked to be taken off the incredibly important task of staring at ants. "Look, see, that one's Ichiro-kun, that one's Hajime-kun, that one's Soichi-kun, and then over there, the slightly redder one, Hayama-kun."

        ... they're all just ants!

But Yua bursts into worry, and now they're being tagteamed on being outprioritised on ants!! Why isn't anyone caring about their ant hill?! "No, no, no, no, no, it's fine... the bleeding stopped a few hours ago. This is just old blood," Myunghon tries to reassure Yua, gaining one level of ambient stress in their voice. "Look, Yuarin, I just have to finish this last dressing and I'm peachy-keen."

A pause. "I don't like peaches. Strawberry... no, I'm allergic to strawberries. Lychee-keen. Oh. I don't have a shirt. Ummm." They point to a cardboard box. "I guess I have to dig into the merch. Remi, can you get one of the shirts in there? It was supposed to be for sale, but no one's bought even one."

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

Remi's had more consistent exposure, of course--and she's also been conditioned to keep her composure under very trying circumstances.

"Right here, dear," says Remi with a quiet sigh to Yua's demand, already ducking behind the counter to bring out the kit. She pauses and opens it to peek inside, just to make sure it's still stocked before sliding it over to Yua.

"I'm sure all of those ants are very special in their own ways, but I'm sure they would rest easier knowing their admirer wasn't about to... to faint and pass out on top of them." She has her own note of distress. Is this what she has to resort to to convince Myunghon to take care of their health?

This might be the other reason she accepted the job, to help keep an eye on her friend.

As soon as Myunghon mentions 'shirt', though, Remi has already moved to the box. She pulls something out that has a logo for one of the collectible card games on it. "Isn't this that newest... 'expansion'? Did we put this out?"

<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.

Remi discovers a black t-shirt in giant sizes that reads:

'I would (symbol of an arrow looping 270 degrees) that so hard it would not untap during its next controller's turn'

.... nerd merch. Weirdos, all of them.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ooshiro has posed.

"Ants belong outside, Myucchi," Yua insists. "If they get inside, they'll eat all your things! Especially your sweets. You won't have any koalas left!" Yua... actually knows about ant infestations, because she's lived in places which are actually likely to have them.

She doesn't look particularly mollified by it being old blood, though. "You only stopped bleeding a few hours ago?" She asks, looking terribly upset by the idea. Was it because they attacked Miho...? But it couldn't be, right? Persona protect the users from damage when they're fighting like that. Miho said it was no more enervating than a long training session...!

Does that mean... Myunghon got into trouble in the 'real world', after they escaped?

... but Yua can't figure out how to ask that without blowing their cover, so she's left to just worry silently, as she digs through the first aid kit. "Just -- just hold still," she insists, as she attends to their dressing. She's not really a medic, but she did do a lot of camping in her youth, so she knows the basic in-and-outs of a first aid kit. Clean the wound, dress it, wrap it in bandages...

She looks over to Remi, tilting her head, as she holds up that massive shirt.

"Isn't that one too big?" She asks, pretending she knows what 'I would arrow that so hard' means, even though she clearly doesn't.

<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.

"I would *not*," Myunghon protests to Remi with a surprisingly passionate response. "These ants have to bring their supper back to their home! Going flat on them would be a distressingly un-half-soul activity." What does that even mean? There's a quiet, but somewhat meek grumble as they turn their attention to Yua and let them patch them up. "They share solidarity with the Koalas... the Koalas aren't mine to keep. They belong to the collective."

Myunghon's gotten pretty good at dressing wounds given that their whole body situation is probably best described as an 'ongoing interest to the military-industrial complex', but they miss spots.

Myunghon does stare at the shirt for a bit, then greedily rips open the plastic bag it's in and then just slacks the suit jacket cape off and then puts it on. It is like, three sizes too big and they're swimming in it, but there's kind of a cute factor in that all on its own.

"How was your day, Yuarin?" Myunghon is suddenly chipper all of a sudden, as if a breaker tripped in the circuit of her central nerve cortex. They're bundling up all the old bandages and disinfectant bottles and then shoving them in an unmarked cardboard box. "I'm so glad you popped by! I haven't read to the end of that novel myself, so don't spoil me just yet!"

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

The meaning of the T-shirt's slogan is utterly lost on Remi. She's tried to learn at least a little bit about what the store sells, but... pop culture may as well be a foreign language to her.

Remi, at least, is more used to seeing Myunghon in a state of being perpeptually bandaged, at least. "She's right, dear. Your clientelle may not appreciate them very much, either."

A size too large. "Perhaps, but I am doing my best--" She sighs as she keeps riffling through the box. "Perhaps if these were organized for display, they would have been sold..." She looks at Myunghon. "Did you pay for these? You should really be more discerning with your store's budget."

Remi gives Myunghon a long look as they protest that they wouldn't crush the ants. "Dear..." She sighs, quietly. "as you insist." She's still working on trying to translate some of what her friend talks about these days.

She just kind of watches as Myunghon dons the way-too-large shirt. "... Mm." She keeps looking through the box, and she starts pulling them out so she can try to organize them. "What the..."

One comes out that's an anime girl in some very skimpy armor. "Does this go with one of the games...?" she puzzles out loud.

<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.

Myunghon also has NO IDEA what the shirt means. Their best guess is 'recycle? I would recycle this so hard? Is the shirt an eco-friendly slogan? It's good that the kids and their cardboard hobby are thinking of the future of the planet. But also recycling is much more disappointing than the kids realise, which is why the Cardboard Dragon re-sells cards, because reuse, kids!'.

As a filthy member of the market, however, it can't espouse in reduce, because that's its bottom line.

"I did put some samples up, these are surplus... no one even really browsed through them, though," Myunghon remarks with a pout to Remi. Then, Remi surfaces the Forbidden Shirt. "Oh! Yes, that one is some kind of promotion with a new card game, where all the characters are anthromorphic chainmail bikinis. See, that one is Haubergeon-chan."

Their eye casts towards Yua, though, as she rubs her wrist. "Mmm. Hmmmm. You should also make sure to take care of yourself, Yuarin. Are you sure you don't need the first-aid kit too?"

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

Yua suggests a trip to the mountains. "The fresh air may well do you some good, as well," Remi comments.

But the shirt... There might be a faint blush on Remi's cheeks, too. "It rather is, isn't it?" she comments noncommittally. that shirt goes in the bottom of the box once she's packing everything back in.

But she's looking at Yua as she comments on the shirt, and she notices that grimace, and her wrist-- She quickly stands up. "Yua-chan, what's wrong, dear?" There is a small note of urgency, though not necessarily panic, in her voice. She starts to walk over to her. "Let me take a look."

She pauses, and slowly turns to Myunghon. "Anthropomorphic... chainmail... bikinis... Dear, I understand all of those words but I am not sure I want to understand how they fit together."

"If nobody browsed, then... we must simply make the display more attractive. Or hold a promotion." She doens't speak the language of anime. She does speak the language of commerce, though.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ooshiro has posed.

"Yes! Let's go on a trip, Myucchi!" Yua says, brightly, and are they going to say no to that face, she's so excited by the idea of camping.

Luckily, Remi dismisses the Forbidden Shirt into the closet where it belongs. Well, the bottom of the box. Close enough. "I-I don't think chainmail would be a very comfortable bikini," is what she has to say about Haubergeon-chan.

But Myunghon notices that Yua was using the first aid kit on them, not herself, and Remi's up like a flash. "Mm," Yua lifts her wrist, so Remi can see. It's quite tender, when she inspects it, though it doesn't seem like it's broken in any way. "When I went to hospital, they gave me a wrist brace, but I took it off yesterday when..."

        Yua trails off.

"When I needed to use it," she settles on, as if the background music hadn't just cut off to indicate how significant that pause was. "Mimi taped it up so it would be supported, but she took the tape off when I went to bed, and... it didn't feel like I needed it for a while today, I guess. Since I didn't feel up to exercising today, or anything like that..."

She doesn't like people seeing what happened. It's the same reason she's wearing a choker, right now -- though if Remi's scrutinising her closely, she might notice a fading thin bruise, around her neck.

<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.

Myunghon's eye bulges again at the topic of a trip to the mountains. C-camping...? Camping... camping... camping... camping... just imagine how cozy the trip will be, Myunghon! Something breaks inside their brain, which is only physically displayed as a moment's distant, dissociated stare, before once more, that dutiful rewiring kicks in again because this is their most wonderful and closest of friends:

        "Camping does sound wonderful!"

Remi already has the whole wrist situation under control and the last thing Yua needs is overcrowding, so Myunghon doesn't push the point. "Mmmm. I think it's a spinoff off the previous series, which had anthromorphic computer chips in techno bikinis. These sales teams think of everything! If we don't hurry, we'll get buried under all the bikinis they're going to sell to teens. The chainmail bikini bubble is going to pop soon."

They do squat in that bizarre way of theirs as they listen to Yua explain going to the hospital. "Uhmmm. Khm. Well, there's lots of spare bandages..." their head lulls back one way. This doesn't feel pleasant to broach, though. Should they redirect again? Their brain is off once more.

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

"It would be far too impractical as armor, besides," comments Remi to Yua's statement about chainmail bikinis. "Really, the stomach is such a vital area..."

"Hospital!?" Remi's voice doesn't raise in volume that much, but it does carry new intensity. "Yua-chan--" She has to stop and force herself to take a deep breath.

Yesterday. Ah, yes. Yesterday.

She's careful, with Yua's wrist, her touch light. "You know these things take time to heal, Yua-chan... even if they feel fine in the moment, it may still be mending."

She's not angry, or upset, just concerned. She might have spotted the bruise, but for the fact that YUua mentions skipping exercise. "... you did, huh?" She knows the significance of that. "... how are you feeling, Yua-chan?"

There is a faint, perplexed stare at Myhunghon as they speak of... computer chip girls in techno bikinis. ".... Well, they certainly are... a creative bunch," she finally settles on.

It's not a compliment.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ooshiro has posed.

Yua loves camping. What she doesn't love is --

"Mm," Yua says, when Remi is so surprised to hear her mention hospital. "It -- it wasn't, um -- it was a few days ago," so not yesterday, apparently. "I..." She bites at her lip, her one visible eye glancing aside. How can she say it in a way which won't put Myunghon in more danger, getting mad at the Powers that Be? "I was attacked," she settled on, sans context. "I didn't get hurt too bad, but, um... the doctors said I hurt my hand. My joints got inflamed since they were jerked around so sharply... it's not too bad, so it should clear up in a week or so. I just... don't like when people can see." She doesn't like people asking questions, though evidently, Remi's allowed to ask them. Remi and Myunghon are different to the people out there.

She puts on a smile, bravely. "Just -- just a little tired, like I said," she insists, though her lip wobbles. "It's just, I keep having to do things I don't want to do, and people want to blame me for not doing them good enough, and Mimi stopped them from yelling at me this time but that must mean they yelled at her and then you know I just kind of had to realise I'm a murderer and that's a lot because I never wanted to murder anyone except I guess for a couple of people once but that didn't even work but you can't just lock someone in a burning house and then say you didn't do anything just because you didn't set it on fire so how can I say I'm a good person when I'm such a bad person,"

Yua is abruptly stopped from her outburst by the cruel and sudden realisation that saying words requires breath to pass through her throat, and even her formidable diving lungs only have support for so much of a run-on sentence before she has to cut herself off with a great big gasp.

Tragically, given the context of the run-on sentence, she just kind of starts bawling after she takes that breath.

See, Myunghon! This is what happens when people get real for five seconds! They start crying all over the merchandise!

<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.

Myunghon does give Remi a long glance. The kind of glance they know Remi'd get. They know about each other's deal more than Yua knows about Myunghon's deal and vice versa. It's an unpleasant ringfence around their relationship nonetheless.

But right now, Myunghon does have to play the part. If only it weren't easy to keep playing the part. They never joined the Drama Club, but they were always a natural at it. In a way, being Student Council President was the biggest role they ever had to act for.

"Attacked?? Sumaru City's getting to be so dangerous," Myunghon carefully picks out that sensitive, concerned tone of voice like they picked a fine silk tie from a rack of sixteen other ones. The kind of tone that convinces people that they are buying their cover story, the kind that nods and goes, ah, yes, gas explosions! Terrible gas explosions.

Myunghon does, however, move closer next to Remi to give Yua some support. Their lanky wire of an arm is around her shoulder, gently, not too smothering. The next part, however, gives them some pause, because Yua is letting her cards slip, and they have to recalibrate where they want to take this next.

"I think I kind of get it," they choose. Just enough slack for a loose interpretation that Yua can respectably hold onto their mask being intact. They don't really want to just regress to platitudes. What can they do here? "You know, Miho-in is really strong." Diverting to Miho is often a good choice. "There's no shame in leaning on people, you taught me that, right? Just like how you dressed up my wounds just now. It's really hard right now for all of us... buuut..."

Myunghon rotates their hand, and suddenly a Koala March animal cracker is in their palm. Cheerfully:

"Koala! The Koala is full of delicious, gooey Hope!"

That's right. They need to continue to be Hope. No matter what Miho says. No matter how much they don't exist in their Perfect, True World.

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

A few days ago. "Ah, I see..." Well, that's... different, at least. But not necessarily better. And it isn't better, because Yua was attacked. "Yua-chan..." She sighs. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there to help you..." Bu 'help' she really means 'protect.'

She doesn't like people seeing. "I know dear, but do try to bear with it. The more consistently you wear it, the faster it will mend, non?"

Just a little tired. Remi understands that, too... after everything they've been through, existing in the real world now seems like such a challenge. But she listens, patiently, to the run-on sentence. She reacts to try and steady Yua if she needs it, when she takes that oh-so-vital breath...

When the bawling starts, she instead moves to just give Yua a hug, gently rubbing her back. "Let it all out, dear," she says gently. "We are simply... doing what we must, to survive."

She does exchange that glance with Myunghgon, though. She is, obviously, quite aware of who 'Rumormonger Merry' is. (Even if it is 'Ariel' that assisted them with the SkillCards sale a few nights prior.)

Nonetheless, she is grateful they did not succeed at killing anyone. And, of course, she won't mention the objective they did accomplish.

Remi was in Drama Club. And these days it feels like she is precariously balancing so many roles. "Yes, we are all here to offer our support, in our own ways."

Remi sighs at the mention of Koalas. She just sighs and shakes her head. "... They are not the finest example of cultured cuisine, but... they do have their charms, I suppose."

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ooshiro has posed.

"They made sure you wouldn't be," Yua notes, gloomily, to Remi. "Mimi, neither." And she nods, when Myunghon remarks about how dangerous the city is...

... even though the most dangerous place is on the water.

Of course, then she starts bawling, despite the fact that she was trying to be so cool and not make a big deal about the Order being terrifying to work under. She buries herself against Remi and wails, though she peeks out on the one side she can see to realise Myunghon's patting her shoulder, too. "Waaaaaaaaah--!!"

It's an entirely different face to her blaming her enemies for showing up to help -- or shutting down students who get too curious. All of them are true parts of her, in their own ways. A dozen roles or more...

Yua's pretty graceful, but even she doesn't have perfect balance, all the time. Times have changed, but these are the people who stood by her and Miho when so many people turned against them for coming together. Can their adult responsibilities really outweigh that...?

        ... unfortunately, it's pretty complicated.

Yua, who is by all accounts on the wrong side of history, sniffles as she looks up to listen to Myunghon's weaving. "Yeah," she says, eye still damp. (Just the one. For some reason, there's no dampness at all on the other side of her face. Is the eyepatch holding it in? Or...) "Mimi's... really strong. She's working so hard..."

And they're surviving, aren't they? Just like Remi said. "Yuh-huh," she sniffs, nodding. "Even-- even if the guy who strangled me -- shows up to work with me the next day -- we gotta survive." the ninja did WHAT

(If only Yua could figure out that Shiryuu was acting under orders, just like she was. It's compulsion on compulsion, when every command comes from a man who knows a man who knows a man.)

... but it might be coming together, now. The Order made sure no one would be there to help Yua when Shiryuu strangled her, and a few days later, they sent her out to murder some innocent policemen, hiring that same man to make sure they'd have the resources to get it done.

It's just been... a very bad week.

        After a week like this...

Yua reaches out to take the cracker, in her left hand. She might have her own hope, but that doesn't mean a Koala isn't delicious, right? "I -- I think they're cute," Yua insists, unfitting to her wealth, as she opens her mouth and --

        CHOMP.

"Mm!" She confirms that cuteness is delicious, a moment later. "It's good!"

<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.

This is what passes every time Myunghon spends time with the people that are the closest in their life. Layers upon layers of needful deception and doublespeak, of marinating in the despondent, chafing collar that is... 'adult responsibilities'. They knew the life of an adult would be complicated and hard, but it turns out it was even tenfold more for them.

You gotta just plaster over it all. Myunghon is so good at it you'd think they were Sumaru's hottest, cheapest housing contractor.

"Mmhmm! Koalas, they're good, I tell you!" Myunghon sing-songs. They do carefully note 'the guy who strangled Yua', however. Even though they couldn't clearly watch the battle unfold, Serizawa and the others weren't really in a position to just STRANGLE Yua. No, it happened before. That fourth guy?

A dangerous gleam washes over their eye for a moment. Like Yua's, Myunghon only has one. They're incredibly bad at crying, though. Their life would probably be one magnitude easier if they could cry easily.

Still. Koalas. Myunghon might shove one down Shiryuu's throat soon.

<Pose Tracker> Remi Ryuuja has posed.

"They made sure..." Something fires up within her. "Are you saying you weren't just attacked, you were targeted?"

A random attack is one thing, but for Yua to be targeted... if Yua won't spill the details, she'll talk to Miho about it. There has to be an anwer for this.

Remi doesn't care for all the parts of herself that have surfaced over the last three and a half years, either. She is... capable, of a lot more than she ever thought possible, so she sympathizes with Yua there.

'Even-- even if the guy who strangled me -- shows up to work with me the next day -- we gotta survive.'

Remi's voice goes deathly quiet. "What." There is a tensing of her jaw. "Yes," she says, her voice a bit clipped. "We must survive. As long as we can do that..."

Well, they'll have hope, as Myunghon--or Merry--would say.

Even if one of the new things she has found herself capable of is contemplating the assault of a man for daring to hurt a friend of hers.

Remi catches that dangerous gleam in Myunghon's eye. IT's not like her own glare isn't dangerous, when it needs to be.

Things have turned out far, far harder than they should. Remi just tries to pat Yua's back soothingly as she recovers. "Well, enough of this ghoulsih conversation. Now that we are all here, perhaps a light lunch would do us some good?"

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ooshiro has posed.

Yua nods, again, when Remi asks if she was targeted, with a terribly guilty expression. She'd been delaying talking to her about it; it felt too cruel, to share with her another example of a horror she couldn't stop after the fact. Wasn't that just like it always was...?

Yua's eye might be red, but it's much less dangerous than Myunghon's. She didn't come out of -- her disappearance -- nearly as dangerous as Remi did, though she still must regrettably be capable of so many things she'd rather not do. But Yua, who was always defended right up until no one could save her...

Well, someone like her, it's impressive she managed to survive Shiryuu's test with only a hurt wrist.

At least this Koala is delicious.

"We had to call Eiko to make lunch and dinner today," Yua says, rubbing at her eye with her left hand. "So... so maybe I can make lunch for you two, instead! You have food, right, Myucchi?" They keep actual food and not two boxes of koala crackers, a bottle of ketchup, and instant noodles whose flavour packets have all been replaced by little satchels of tartare sauce and chocolate dip, right?

        Right?

... so anyway, first a shopping trip, then lunch.
