"The higher I rose, the more I realised what I did disqualified me as a human being."
Myunghon Yeo -- Myorei Yukichi to most -- is the capricious, bohemian Zainichi Korean owner of the Cardboard Dragon, a dingy little book and card store in Hirasaka Ward, Sumaru City. However, the shop acts as a front for their true job as the leader of the Baengnyong, an information agency that employs a number of Zainichi Koreans, including those with darker backgrounds. In the evening, they are Rumourmonger Merry, selling rumours and tips to those willing to pay top price, possessing intel some believe she obtains through dark means. The truth is both plainer and stranger -- they spelunk the depths of the supernatural to acquire secrets and valuables from people's hearts. Despite their relatively young age, Myunghon possesses a prodigal history through the ladders of international corporations, which makes their betrayal as architect of the Great Surrender, which saw a large corporation fall during the Great Recession a few years back, baffling to those who believe they had a secure, comfortable future in its wings.
Background
Season 1, Episode 1
First seen performing Magic River Teleportation in the Hyakumanzeki Festival in Rengedai, Myunghon Yeo -- aka Rumourmonger Merry -- is an eccentric, bohemian individual on the surface concealing disaster and sorrow underneath that gentle masking. What have they gotten up to? Why...
MSQ: The Cardboard Dragon
- In June and July, Myunghon became fast friends with a number of Persona-Users, including Shinjiro Aragaki, who came to them on the case of the Joker Killer, Shinobu Shimizu and Remi Ryuuja, who works for the Cardboard Dragon, and Mio Kazama, whose driving skills they rely on frequently.
- Myunghon struggles with having to oppose their closest friends Miho Ijuuin, Yua Ooshiro and Remi Ryuuja, who have ties and masks behind the NWO.
- Myunghon found out they have a half-sister in So-young Park!
- The Cardboard Dragon group helped take down the Emperor and Empress Full Moon Shadows, rescuing Fuuka Yamagishi in the process.
- The Cardboard Dragon group helped take down Kaneshiro, where they discovered that the Phantom Thieves of Hearts are also interested in Palaces.
- Myunghon is investigating the Kirijo Group on behalf of Yukari Takeba.
- The Cardboard Dragon group is also taking on investigating Eiji's palace for Ichika Kawase and also the Atelier of Taro Nakata for Hazuki Nakao.
No Longer Human Arc
- They met Tsumugi Kujaku at the Peacock Silk, who wondered if they were alive or dead, yet reminded them that intimacy was still something they felt.
- Following these instincts, they ask Shinobu to take them out to the arcade and conspire with Shinjiro to buy rock ticket concerts for them, and confessed their attraction to Shinobu, who couldn't return their feelings.
- With awkward tensions abound in the Cardboard Dragon, Myunghon is visited by Tsumugi after a long day and the two spend the night together despite their hesitations over the former's perspective on freedom and attachments.
- Myunghon instantly regrets this decision the next morning when Shinobu walks in on them asleep.
Next Objective: Reject Intimacy, Bottle Everything Up Again
The Food Arc
- Myunghon confessed that food tastes like ash to Shinjiro, Yua and some other people and have no sense of taste or smell.
- They still don't want to give up on food. They asked Katsuya to teach them how to bake so they can treat others.
Next Objective: Wait for the Blood Cravings to Hit
The Racist Cop Arc
- Myunghon is being repeatedly profiled and harrassed by a racist cop, Koichi Ishiba, and has had to be bailed out by Reiko Shimizu and Katsuya Suou on different occasions.
- The racist cop arc reached a climax when Koichi Ishiba gave them a concussion and a dislocated shoulder and sent them to the hospital.
- It's revealed Myunghon is traumatised and terrified of hospitals which led Tsumugi to send them flying out their window, which in turn made them the topic of a vampire that appeared at Hirasaka Hospital. Now they can't stay in the sun for long and probably have a blood craving too.
- They had to be convinced out of giving Koichi Ishiba a Mental Shutdown following the above.
- They nearly got killed by their mother, famous actress Suzie Park, when it was revealed she isn't happy with how they're running the Baengnyong and also how poorly they're handling being profiled by a racist cop. They're still terrified of her.
Next Objective: Remain Paralysed in Fear
Sidequests
- They run a post-midnight tabletop group for Jack Frost and Pyro Jack.
- They worked hard to get Tsubasa Seki a binder at the Peacock Silk!! And then they befriended certified good dog Lance too.
- They agreed to let Hitomi Mandai run a tabletop game at the Cardboard Dragon.
- They found out they shared a passion over stuffing toy cars in their mouth with Pernelle.
Persona
Kudlak: Kudlak is a pitch-black humanoid figure in a large, fluttering cape that blends seamlessly with Myunghon's black cognitive coat. His limbs are similarly matte-dark, with the suggestion of a 17th century nobleman's attire towards his top. Though he barely has a face, crimson eyes peek out from behind silvered bangs.

Relationships

| Name | Skill | Thought |
| Dettol (750ml bottle) | ★★★★★ ★★★★★ | Thou hast truly forged an inseparable bond. Where one goes, the other follows, wafting about on the winds. Forget the odd looks. They don't understand you and your whirlwind romance with corner store disinfectants. |
| Miho Ijuuin | ★★★ | There is an intimate promise that sabre-steel will penetrate into your flesh right to the hilt, until you spasm and quiver; "Just a little more," you say, until you can't hold your coronary arteries in any longer. |
| Yua Ooshiro | ★★★ | Protect. It feels good to hear that from her, doesn't it? How long has it been since you last let yourself be vulnerable? How long until it becomes a mistake again? |
| Remi Ryuuja | ★★★ | And this is the the third reason, isn't it? I have news, though: salary and blood are mutually exclusive, no matter how much you pretend it isn't. |
| Shinobu Shimizu | ★★★ | A cold, hard splash. Your lungs, full of chlorine, salt and blood. You can't breathe... she's taken your breath away. |
| Shinjiro Aragaki | ★★★ | You've really done it now. You let another one get close. His is your scent -- the scent of death and sacrifice. He won't betray you like the others... right? |
| Yukari Takeba | ★★ | If you need to know how hard it was for her to confide in you, just think about how hard it would be for Myorei Yukichi to have done the same thing. |
| Katsuya Suou | ★★ | The days of trite fun when he was your tsukkomi are over. |
| Mio Kazama | ★ | You have no idea what a V6 is. No matter what you do, don't pretend you do -- you're already the weird adult to this speed-demon. |
| Ulala Serizawa | ★ | A cold breeze stings your spine through the old windows and reminds you: Not everyone gets a friend as steadfast as that. |
| Maya Amano | ★ | Your nerves are fire. She has spoken dangerwords, words that arouse both Mr. Fight and Mr. Flight into a homoerotic twist: is it possible that the Cardboard Dragon could be... cool? |
| Hitomi Mandai | ★ | The human finger is slathered in a grotesque package of fat and dead skin cells. You believe this young woman understands that cards are more precious than fingers. |
| Suzume Fukura | ★ | Somewhere within the labyrinthine-complex of Stratum-4 is a triple-pack of Killers, but it is not even an obstacle to someone with eighth-bit mastery. |
| Yanagi Nagisa | ★ | It still stings, doesn't it? Long after she left, her mark still lingers in the store, telling you what could be, if only you believed more in life and the living. |
| Tsumugi Kujaku | ★ | You long ago swore an oath to me to make your facade invincible. In Kujaku you see the you that actually succeeded at that. But there's more to it than that, isn't there? |
| So-young Park | ★ | You can either continue to wallow in this shallow jealousy of haves and have-nots, or you can band together with nuna and confront the common nemesis that is your mother. |
| Ayame Watanabe | ★ | Drowning. Drowning. Drowning. Your lungs, full of air... she has received the length of your measure. Snip. |
| Ikkaku Watanabe | ★ | You can lose blood. You can lose fingers. Your psyche can break. Koume shouldn't lose her father. |
| Ichika Kawase | ★ | Are you done talking to her in the language of eggshells? You messed up. There's no other way I can put it. |
