"About my request..." The SIU Director, Mouri spoke in a dry serious tone to the man on the other end of the line, conveying his displeasure. It was hardly a request, and they both knew it. "... how long is it going to take? This incident occurred at the school you're supposed to be presiding over..."
"It should be any time now. I have- someone working on it currently." The man on the other end of the line replied, glad that the act of dabbing his face with a handkerchief couldn't be viewed. "I promise - as the Principal of Shujin Academy I'm aware of my responsibilities..."
The Director's tone barely changed, only allowing the smallest sign of displeasure to creep in, "... I hope you remember who gave you that position to begin with. Our other operative gave us a list of candidates without delay... but it is not their responsibility. This happened on your watch... Kobayakawa-san."
The Director's eyes scanned a list of roughly thirty one students in front of him. Far too many for a sweeping purge. Besides their operative indicated that the majority were neither within Mementos nor had Palaces of their own.
He suspected different measures would need to be taken.
"I-I haven't forgotten." The man stammered. "I'll... check in with them, right away!"
"See that you do. We have no use for incompetents within our organization that can't even administrate a school properly."
He hung up on him, before Kobayakawa had any chance to respond.
"Hmm, it's best to get ahead of this. He also mentioned that he believed their focus was upon the phishing operation in Shibuya..." Steepling his fingers, he considered the problem for a time, before smiling. "... Yes, that'll do nicely. After all, why kill only two birds with a single stone?"

A cheerful newscaster's voice suddenly deepens as if shocked and startled, "Our top story today: scandal at the Wild Duck Burger. Nineteen year old Isamu Okabe, a line cook posted an online selfie of himself in the nude on social media while the kitchen burned around him. Suspected of being another in a series of 'overwork' incidents, Okabe-san was on his sixth shift in a row."
Her male co-worker takes over at this point, "The CEO of Wild Duck Burger, Kouki Kogamo, held a Press Conference today to appease shareholders, who have lost confidence in his business plan. The damages at the Iwatodai City branch of Wild Duck Burger are said to be extensive... leading to a temporary closure of the store for repairs."
The first newscaster takes over again, "Local businessowners report that Okabe-san was a troubled youth that had become a 'Ronin' after his admissions to the university fell through. They expressed concerns on how his actions may cause problems for the other small businesses near Iwatodai Station. According to the police, Okabe-san maintains he has no memory of the incident and is currently undergoing psychiatric evaluation by order of the prosecutor's office."
