<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
It's after school hours and also after most hours. It is the TV hour, which is not quite as scary as the Dark Hour despite the monster movie playing on the screen.
This evening's screening of DRACULA 3000 has limited attendance, unfortunately. It's just Koh in the common area at present, a container of re-microwaved noodles on a table nearby. He's working diligently, scribbling in a notebook and paying only half-attention to the sounds of space vampires.
Those in the area may be drawn in by the poorly performed screaming emanating from the television in place of the usual jingle of the late-night shopping channel.
<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
After hours...! Reiya steps into the common area and hears screams. Televised screams! Quietly, he walks around, tilting his head and looking at the TV. Just Koh is here, and he's busy working...
Hmmm.
"Space vampires," Reiya reflects. "I suppose if you shielded them from the Sun it could work."
Yes.... Space Vampires.
"Hello, Katsuhiro-san. Am I interrupting your studies?"
Reiya's in casual attire, coming down from the stairs. Perhaps he was going to take a walk!
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"The box says there's no sun in space. But I think there might only be suns in space..." Koh muses.
Regardless, Koh smiles and tucks his pencil in his notebook. "Hey, Aomori-san. Not really, I'm not studying." He doesn't seem to mind being interrupted at least.
"Are you headed out?" Now that a person has entered social gravity demands that Koh's attention be drawn in that direction.
<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
"Space is where suns go," Reiya agrees. "It is the home of suns."
Reiya nods back, and gives a small smile in reply. It's brief! Watch carefully. "Oh?" he wonders, and steps around towards the couch. "I was considering it," he says, "But now I am curious what you are doing instead of studying, with Dracula as accompaniment."
"...is it Dracula, or some other vampire?"
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"I think it might be the 3000th Dracula." Koh affirms. "I got it to show Tyler but he's not around, and I was bored."
Koh holds up his book. The opened page shows a few geometric doodles and jotted down words in a combination of Japanese and English. "I was writing some rhymes to impress Ririka-san. Want to tell me what you think?"
A pause and he adds, "I've got some extra noodles in the fridge, too."
<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
"That's a lot of Draculas," Reiya says. "I see. Yes, he would probably appreciate it."
The opened page... Hmmm. "I see," Reiya answers. "Do you think they will work? I suppose she would appreciate rhymes..."
A nod. "Yes. And I could also go for noodles. I'm... hungry."
As a teenage boy, he is always hungry. Always.
He walks over.
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"Great!" Koh beams. "Home on." There's several styrofoam containers of extra take-out on standby in the fridge. It's possible that Koh hasn't cooked anything since he got here.
Soon there is a extra box of microwaved food from the nearest fast food joint.
"Well, that's why I need a review," Koh notes happily. "Alright, let's see..." Flip, flip, flip. "How about this one: Kusanagi...soggy?" He waits patiently for review.
<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
Reiya... will take fast food noodles.
Yes. This is acceptable.
"I will do my best," he says. And then he listens. Flip, flip, flip...
"That's terrible," Reiya says immediately. "It rhymes but 'soggy' should never be used in poetry."
A pause.
"Next?"
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"Hmm, okay," Koh says, undeterred.
"What about: Fuji-san = curry witn naan.
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"Hmm, okay," Koh says, undeterred.
"What about: Fuji-san = curry witn naan." He pauses. "Actually there's a bunch of food ones here, I had to stop and heat up dinner because I was hungry."
Flip flip flip. "Oh, this is is Jack Frost and 'get lost'. Is that anything?"
<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
Reiya doesn't even blink. He just delivers opinions as asked.
"Good," he says. Wait, when did he learn English, anyway? Don't worry about it. "It's against the rules, but I like naan."
Pause. "Hmm. It is good, but do you want to tell Kawase-san to get lost?"
"That would seem to be counterproductive."
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"Well, not really, I guess." Koh muses. "I'll work on those." He scribbles down a few tick marks. "Anyway, It's fine if they're bad. That works too."
The boy beams before leaning to grab his half-eaten bowl. "Anyway. Aomori-sancan I call you Reiya-san? Aomori's where I'm from. Anyway, I wanted to ask you"
A few noodles are slurped up before he continues, "How'd you learn to fight the way you do? Are you part of a dojo?"
<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
"Good luck," Reiya says. "Impressing girls with rhymes sounds difficult. But it might work." They can be bad... Hmm. Before he can investigate this too clearly, Koh inquires about something, and Reiya pauses where he was about to eat a chopstickful of noodles.
"You may call me by my given name," Reiya agrees. "I will call you Koh-san." A pause. "That is interesting."
To ask! "Hmm." It's a secret. But, he has cover stories present. "Only my family's," he says. "My mother is enthusiastic about the martial arts, as is her mother. I learned from them."
"...Of course, my Persona abilities help to augment my agility," he says, which is technically true.
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"Well, it usually helps to just show someone you're interested in what they do." Koh says, both imparting advice and revealing his plan.
"Good! That's easy then." He approves of first names, nodding after as Reiya explains his gymnastics. "Oh, I see. I tried learning proper fighting for a bit, but I don't think too much of it stuck."
"I guess the Persona helps too. Mine isn't that...physical. I feel a little useless sometimes, I should probably just get better at fighting on my own."

<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
"Oh," Reiya says, and nods thoughtfully. "Yes, that matches my experiences as well. I underestimated you."
But good! It's easy. "It takes discipline and continued practice," Reiya tells Koh. "If you give up the habit, then you'll forget much of what you've learned. The body must be regularly and consistently conditioned."
A pause. "...Hmm. I recall your Persona's abilities being quite useful," Reiya counters. "That you are more support-oriented means that those of us at the front can fight harder. I appreciate that."
A pause. "...But I suppose if you feel that way just saying so won't make you feel it any less," he realizes, as if he's consulting some sort of notes in his mind.
"My Persona's abilities are balanced between magic and physicality, focused on water attacks and piercing maneuvers. I also have some capacity to help support others in defense. It suits what I try to do. But I cannot heal, and while I can hide from others' senses, I have no special insight into them, either."
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"Hmm. That sounds right." Koh affirms of practice. "I just get distracted. But good, I'm glad that I've been helpful. I'll try to support you how I can."
He nods along as the other boy describes his Persona. "I see. Well, Yamagishi-san and Kawase-san are much better at special insight than I am. I've got a little talent, but I prefer to just keep everyone alive."
After some consideration he asks: "Do you have any training recommendations?" He too wants to do a flip.
<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
"Distraction is understandable," Reiya says. "There are a lot of things in the world other than the martial arts, and they're very interesting things." A nod. "You have. I will rely on you further."
But, "I see. Well, keeping us alive is important. I enjoy being alive. ...And while Takeba-san is quite adept, we should not overtax her by relying only on her."
A pause. Training recommendations... "I'd have to see your skill level," Reiya concludes. "And I could set up a regimen from there. Basic fitness is the foundation of acrobatics. You must understand your body."
"But in general... I believe there is a program on the computer I could show you. It has some good basic tips. It was insufficiently advanced for me, but it might be your speed."
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"Oh, yeah, Takeba-san's good at what she's does." He pauses. "She's kind of scary, though." He recalls her slapping Minato before doing any healing.
On second thought: "...Actually a lot of girls here are kind of scary." For some reason he's still smiling though.
Koh nods after. Of course, the internet! "Yeah, I'd appreciate it. If I'm gonna be a member of the team I should be operating at my best, right?"
<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
"Yes," Reiya agrees. "She's formidable."
A pause. A lot of girls... but he's still smiling. "Do you like scary girls?" Reiya wonders of Koh. "I like athletic girls, but I prefer a calmer demeanor..." Than Yukari's? That's not a particularly significant bar.
But, "Then I'll get it next time we're upstairs, and give it to you." A nod. "I agree. We should always operate at our best when possible."
"When you finish the program, perhaps we can train together. It should remind you of the basics. ...Either way, I think that it's important that we do what we can. Our mission is vital."
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"Ah, well, they're not that bad." Koh offers. They are still girls! "Oh, I see." He nods as he digests this information. "I guess that makes sense."
"But, good. And, yeah. I'll do whatever I can."
Koh focuses on noodles now, having given up on rhymes for the meantime. "If you're not going anywhere important, can I come? I think Dracula's almost done and I'm not really tired yet"
<Pose Tracker> Reiya Aomori has posed.
"True," Reiya agrees. They aren't that bad! Just not all his type. Koh accepts his information in return, and Reiya is satisfied with that.
"Yes. I will, too."
Reiya also eats his noodles. They are good! ...Maybe not as good as real cooking would be, but the salt is nice. As for going, "No, I was just going to drop by Paulownia for something before it's too late," he says. "You'd be welcome to come with me. We could jog after the train station, if you wanted to get started on your conditioning."
<Pose Tracker> Koh Katsuhiro has posed.
"Yeah, I'd like that. I need to burn off the food anyway." The noodles are repackaged for another day.
He stretches, then prepares to depart. Dracula will return another day.
