<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.
hey Myunghon's been acting STUPID
They've been staying at various people's places, true, but also they ran off with Shinjiro and Shinobu on some mission to another Palace because they promised someone and came back a pancake. So St. Bernadette's been warned to not let them out under any circumstance or else. (The or else is to Myunghon. The church staff are fine.)
Myunghon is currently sat up at the guest bedroom, which is actually nicer than the gray concrete bunker they were expecting to stay in at the underground part of the church. There's a small bag that someone... maybe So-young... packed for them, and they're adopting their favourite position -- that is, employing the power to pull their knees up right to their face and looking somehow comfortable with this act of contortionism.
They've refused to let anyone take the new Coat away from them, which limpets and clings to their form like a protective clamshell. They took their shoes off, at least.
"Thank you for hosting me for the night, Kazama-kun." A pause. "Mio-ssi." A second pause. "Yes, that sounds pretty good."
Relationship upgrade?!
They're playing with a little sports card in their hands, deftly flipping it over again and again like it relaxes them. There's a picture of a green-haired athlete on it.
<Pose Tracker> So-young Park has posed.
So-young is remarkably practiced at putting together travel bags at a moment's notice, partially because she's used to moving around a lot and partially because she's not all that frugal and partially because she's really quite vain. This might present a bit of an unexpected wrinkle: the conductor is still adamant about not intruding on Myunghon's space and so hasn't retrieved anything from Myunghon's apartment proper, and instead the range of toiletries she's provided is rather... expansive and upper-class...
She's been going back to Tokyo a lot, because she still insists on keeping up both halves of her life, but she's been training back every night. Even if Myunghon's busy or recuperating and not in a state to be seen, she'll still look after the Cardboard Dragon, using the space to practice and generally get some composition done while she's there. She somehow caught wind of Myunghon's adventures and so has blown up Mio's phone with 'where is the idiot' messages until she's here, looking mildly aggrieved with her arms folded.
Her gaze suggests Myunghon is in trouble. "... there's a lot I could say about wanting to remove yourself from everyone, but then being unable to sit still long enough to let your wounds close up properly," she grumbles in the voice of someone who is still firmly out of their depth but getting there through sheer exasperation.
<Pose Tracker> Mio Kazama has posed.
Speaking of Church staff, there aren't very many! In fact, other than Mio, the only other person who Myunghon would have seen is Sato-san, the man with the aviators and sunglasses who pops his collar despite being the head priest. He was only present for a bit, before heading off for a meeting of some kind, but he was definitely the guy from that photo on the desk Myunghon saw from last time, and his vibes are good despite his best intentions of looking shady. Anyway,
There's a knock-knock-knock at the door to Myunghon's room, a pause, and then it opens to reveal an unhooded Mio with the world's biggest smile, carrying a tray laden with onigiri, sandwiches, coffee, tea, potato chips, mochi... something an an emergency conbini run and a teenager's idea of lunch, but not ultimately bad. "I'm back~!" she crows happily, "Are you comfy? Is everything okay? Can I get you anything else? Do you need me to run the bath?" the pink-haired cinnamon roll rattles off these questions and many more, taking her role as the host deadly-serious. It's only by pure will that she didn't tackle Myunghon with a flying hug when they first arrived, after all.
"Also! I've been told not to let you wander off without supervision." Mio plonks the tray down on a small coffee table and waggles her pointer finger aloft, not pointing it at So-Young, who might have been the source of the instruction. "... so if you two wanna wander around downtown, you'll just have to bring me along for the ride!"
<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.
It's maybe... probably... a good thing So-young didn't go up to the Cursed Third Floor. Or did she? To fetch some clothes? Or did she arrange for clothes herself for Myunghon? Going to the Cardboard Dragon's been rewarding for So-young though because she gets to bully Gumiho a lot and boy is that girl really gullible and easy to tease. She's so earnest about everything that comes out of her mouth and has one braincell and zero facts in it.
"I never said I wished to remove myself from everyone," Myunghon grouses in turn, as they put the card aside and holds one of the toiletry bottles with as little contact with their digits as possible, squinting into it. "Hydrangea...?" A pause. "I can't hear it."
"Also, I came back only being nearly impaled, yes? And I have information for it. So there," Myunghon's probably not doing too awfully if they're being petulant, though the lapse in response can be a bit concerning sometimes. That Sato-san sure is something else though... the Aura coming off off him is major. Myunghon's definitely going to pin a picture for him later -- he's the senior of Carl.
"Oh..." Myunghon pauses, as the tray reminds them of food. A pause, as they reach towards that packed bag. "Did you... my protein is not in here." A pause, as Mio bombards them with more questions. They look at her like they just flat out forgets Japanese for a moment, rubbing their head, then squints and says, "I apologise... could you repeat that again?" It's been happening a bit. Myunghon laughing a bit too late. Myunghon staring at their notes like they can't make sense of it. Well, that's concussions for you.
They're really hoping it's temporary. It's terrorising them.
<Pose Tracker> So-young Park has posed.
So-young may or may not have been the person to issue that decree to Mio, but she certainly nods her head in solemn agreement with it as she snags a sando from the tray. There is a certain amount of relish in her smile, because she's got some inkling of how badly Myunghon might handle Mio's effusive care, though it does fade away a little at the way that her sibling needs to pause and catch up suspiciously often.
"I thought some fresh air might be of use, but..." she trails off uncertainly. She's not a doctor and she's not used to injuries so she can't go 'wow that concussion's hitting hard huh' but she can at least see with her eyes, and between the coat clinging to Myunghon and the general state of their health she gets the feeling that bedrest is going to be more important.
Gumiho is a treasure and So-young will protect her forever. Thankfully, there haven't been any surprise visits from drunk police officers. She's not really sure what she'd do if one happened, but she certainly doesn't want Gumiho to have to face that alone. As for the third floor... So-young's still working through the feeling of distance that she realized at their very different life circumstances, and is suddenly being a bit more careful with Myunghon's possessions and private areas.
"It's one of my favorites," So-young says of the shampoo firmly. You might get the impression she has many, many favorites. "How do you even find out that these things are happening? I need to go and loom over those two if they actually _invited_ you out rather than you just managing to show up behind them."
<Pose Tracker> Mio Kazama has posed.
Not to worry, there's only a brief pause as Mio catches up with the speed that Myunghon is operating at. Her quizzical blink and expression lasts for less than a second. "Oh!" her smile returns, full power. "I am just making sure you have everything you need to be comfortable." she gestures patiently to the assembled goods, but doesn't go pushing anything into anyone's face. She does, however, open a strawberry & mascarpone fruit sandwich for herself with simple glee.
She's also speaking noticeably slower now, cognizant of her usual breakneck pace. "We know a doctor who can come around here if you don't feel well, don't worry about the cost or anything. It's my turn to make sure you're in good health and feeling loved!" despite the slower pace, well, she's still herself. There's a victorious little fist-pump to go with that, and then a victorious little sandwich bite. Nomf.
"But, um, what happened?" Mio's question is aimed at both of them, "It sounds like you had another exciting outing when you should've been in bed..."
<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.
"I promised someone who's having a very difficult time I'd help them. So I went," is the rather candid and matter-of-fact answer Myunghon gives on why they rushed out and threw themself into a Palace when they should be convalescing. Their head lilts one way as they stare out the nearby window. "I'd be fine with stepping outside for a bit... it's a bit boring inside." They don't have anything to stack or throw their mind into, as useless as they'd be at actually working on their laptop.
Gumiho would, indeed, fight a racist cop. Unfortunately, Gumiho also has the skill, Swing-and-a-Miss Maestro, so she loses every fight she's in. It wouldn't go well.
Mio offers to make them comfortable, though, so there's an 'ehmm...' as they stare over the assembled foods. They reach for the tea. It's better than nothing, at least. There's a little shiver and a wince when they drink it, however. They reach into the small bag for a moment to rummage through it, but they don't find what they're looking for.
"There are still many things we don't know about Palaces..." Myunghon murmurs, drawing the new, fresh Coat a little tighter around themself. Mio has a doctor in mind, who can come attend, and Myunghon does pause to peer at her for slightly too long. "Thank you," they quietly conclude.
They also have a sling on their right arm, come to think of it, since Officer Ishiba did wound and dislocate their shoulder heavily enough that keeping it still is a wise idea. They don't particularly look pleased at the sling, however -- it's bothering them a lot.
"And also... thank you for being there on that night. And I'm still mortified at how fast he turned his anger on you too." They're looking at So-young.
<Pose Tracker> So-young Park has posed.
So-young's look is one of appreciation as she annihilates half the sandwich, somehow both in record time and with a due amount of elegance to the way she eats. She's just very used to eating on the go. "Thanks for the help," she adds as well with a firm nod. "I didn't hear what happened exactly, beyond a 'near impaling'," she grumbles, making it clear what she thinks of that.
She's privately glad that Myunghon has someone who can be completely innocent and forthright with her when it comes to delivering cheesy but well-meant speeches. She's well aware how terrible at them she is, but at least there are people there to fill the gap. She still hasn't gotten used to Shinjiro being one of them, mind you.
Studying Myunghon, So-young's expression draws into an uncertain frown. "Take some painkillers first," she advises rather bluntly. "I'm going to assume you'll take one look at the daylight and start to feel a killer headache coming on, so load up in advance." That sounds suspiciously like it's learned experience more than anything else, because So-young has had her moments of diving fully into her work before and emerging, blinking, into the light.
With a puff of air, she waves off the thanks even as she puffs lightly up in pride when it's given. "Why 'mortified'? I knew what I was getting into the moment I spoke up. It's not your fault. ... I mean, it's been something for me to chew over," she adds awkwardly with a faint feeling of guilt she's trying to push back down. "... the most I face at work is the odd cutting comment, and ignoring bad press is easy. I'm not used to seeing it close up."
<Pose Tracker> Mio Kazama has posed.
Mio links both hands behind her back for a moment and then turns to adjust the curtains, so it isn't quite as bright indoors. Of the cop and his frustrations, all she adds is: "I was really upset when that pig hurt you... it made me want to protect you, and I still do." and then she turns back around with her smile again.
"My first question I need to ask before we go anywhere..." she tiptoes up to Myunghon and then scoots down so she's sitting on her knees, level with the injured, bandaged, person. "What do you wanna be called? I never asked." she bites her lip. "Then I got... it wrong last time. So, I wanna know what you wanna be called by people who you trust." her eyes are a little downcast, embarrassed at being so clueless about the world of gender outside her little bubble. "And not just what you prefer for that, but like... Yeo-san? Merry-san? Myunghon? I wanna do better at not saying whatever comes into mind..."
With that, she places both hands together again. "Second question, both of you! After we make sure the medicine gets taken and a -little- food is eaten... do you want to go for a walk somewhere in Aoba? There's a nice tower nearby, there's a lookout deck on the top floor and a restaurant and an art gallery..." Mio is counting off on her fingers. "I just wanna hang out together. I don't care where, so long as we're taking it easy."
<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.
Myunghon does appreciate Mio's instincts. "I'll rely on you to protect me in the future, too, then," they say without a trace of irony or hesitation, since they're starting to figure out that being part of a leader and a team is being able to entrust these things to people, even if they also charge off on their own and make it really hard to do so. "We weren't prepared in the way we needed to be. And... when the Palace is with someone traumatic to you, it's also difficult to keep your head aligned."
So-young urges them to take painkillers, and there's a, uhmm, khmm... as they keep rummaging around with that one hand of theirs and finds some. Pop, pop. A drink with the tea... another wince. It's too thick... of course, people like it that way from the konbini. They don't like watered down tea.
So-young insists with a puff of pride as to why they should feel mortified. ... there it is again. That sense of rebellion. "I'm not making it my fault." A pause. "I've experienced it many times... not to the point of being beaten over it, of course... but I'm not certain I wish to be used to it." So many of the others in Hirasaka are, and they always look so weathered-down about it. Like they're used to taking life's lumps. It weighs down on the soul, to normalise it.
But Mio asks with some embarrassment what they'd like to be called. There's a soft little smile as they remember Kaneshiro's Palace. "First of all, it's okay. Secondly, just call me Myunghon." A pause. "And they and them are good. I've decided I don't want to be a girl anymore." There's a shocking ease in which they just say something that should be so -- unusual in Japan, but they're used to it by now... are they not? "It's this term called Non-Binary they use in the West... I'm not sure what it means entirely, but I guess Binary means one of two things, so it's neither guy nor girl, I suppose."
They're not sure that fits them, still. But it's harder to say 'my gender is No Longer Human' like they mean it in front of people and not have it sound like they're joking or being extra.
Myunghon still hasn't reached for food, though. "I'd like a walk... oh, the lookout tower? I haven't visited since its opening a year ago. That would be nice."
<Pose Tracker> So-young Park has posed.
"I'm sold," So-young agrees just like that, the other half of her sandwich having vanished in the meantime. "I think I know the art gallery you're talking about, though. I poked my head in there the other day to look around. It shows promise!" she adds brightly, a complete turnaround in her expression as she laser focuses in on her interests and hobbies. "I've been cataloguing local talent to tap for a project or two, so I've been keeping my eyes open for little places like that."
So-young pauses when Myunghon starts to answer Mio's question about terminology. It's at times like this that the conductor at least manages to be a good listener - she's got an ear for when a speech is important, and the theatrical presence to let someone finish without interrupting them. So-young doesn't exactly look used to the idea, the way she pricks up her ears in curiosity, but there's an easy and immediate acceptance on her end that mirrors how she's acted up until now - simply going with the decision and not thinking a great deal more about it.
"Good," she decides in response to Myunghon as she folds her arms. "I am simply making it clear that you are not responsible for his being an asshole. And I might be new to all of this, but I am not about to be a wilting flower that needs to be shielded from everything. If someone's going to hit me with a truncheon, then I'll kick them in the balls."
It's easy to say that when Remi blocked the hit for her. Like it or not, realize it or not, she's still pretty untested.
<Pose Tracker> Mio Kazama has posed.
If there is one thing Mio is very good at, discarding everything else, it is that she can be 120% earnest about these kinds of questions. Sometimes, the best allies are the ones who know very little. "Mmm!" she nods with fierce determination to understand, exuding Ganbarimasu from every pore. "Okay! I'll do my best... I won't forget who you really are to yourself!" and there's a spark of pride in those eyes, which look straight into Myunghon's. "I don't know much about this stuff, but I started looking it up after I got it wrong... so I think I understand what you mean!"
Mio looks up now with a little cartoony halo of sunshine from around her pink-crowned head. "Ooh, ooh." she pipes up at So-Young, "You should peep that bar, you know the one all the rumours talk about? You can probably get a stun-gun there. That way, you can zap someone and book it the next time something bad like that happens." another huff of pride, since she didn't even recommend buying a shotgun or something to blast a cop with. "Or you can hang out with me and I'll get 'em for you."
"A--anyway!" Mio claps her hands, trying SO HARD to be a good host despite being the youngest one in the room, and the least life-experienced. "Myunghon, are you okay to go for a walk to the tower? We can forget about the work stuff for a few hours and find some peace and quiet in there... unless, So-Young-san, you want to try something else? I guess there's, um, a movie theatre not too far away, or..."
<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.
Myunghon does spare a glance to So-young, who's completely quiet about gender talk, but nonetheless managed to get it right the first time anyway. They wonder if they hang around a lot of nonbinary or other queer folk, that they're used to figuring it out. The silence seems telling, though, so they don't press on it. ... telling in what way, though, they're not sure.
"Well, thank you for that, Kazama-kun," Myunghon does accept. She seems so different now than when she's all torqued up and invigorated to bring violence, whether on Officer Ishiba, or Take-Minkata. Is that the seed of Rebellion in her as well? "It's not a problem if you forget or anything, some of the time. I'm not even sure if I've completely figured it out myself."
They definitely haven't. It's kind of useless when your Ideal Gender is to just become mist itself, or a star in the sky, because that's definitely a thought that's having a tumultuous, tempestuous relationship with the other thoughts in their thought cabinet that enjoys Magic River Teleportation. Gender is hard. Why is it so easy for Tsumugi? Harder than it looks, perhaps, but their masking is simply more perfect than theirs.
But So-young says that she'll simply kick whoever in the balls if they're gonna truncheon her, and that makes them drift somewhere far away again. Again, they're thinking about the will of Rebellion, and how fiery and strong it is in others. Do they really have such a seed in them, if they can't muster the willpower like this? Perhaps this is what Mother truly meant, about them not being ready. Perhaps So-young is here because she wanted to cultivate her into being their replacement? Even now, the people in the Baengnyong are expressing doubts about their leadership behind them. ... is this what it's about?
Mio brings up Parabellum, though, and they jump ship from that deep, fisheyed thought right to another one. Because that was So-young's gun that she brought to be disposed of that ended up being there on Mementos on that day. "... true. I haven't investigated that bar yet or how that Rumour works. It would be very informative to know how the rules work, so that I have a better idea of how the flow of weapons comes in and out in Sumaru City..."
Aaaand they're back on work mode again.
<Pose Tracker> So-young Park has posed.
So-young is the one having to stratch her cheek now, because she too is also not immune to the moving ray of sunshine that is Mio on a good day and just as poorly equipped to deal with raw earnestness as her sibling, perhaps even moreso. She does... rather... pause at the mention of Parabellum, clearing her throat a little bit in a rare look of embarrassment.
"I think... I may be banned from perusing their stock for a while," is the way she not-so-diplomatically puts it. "So far, it hasn't led to the absolute best of outcomes. I appreciate the thought, though. I'd just rather weaponize what I've got." ... again, it's easy to say 'oh you wouldn't dare attack a minor celebrity', but it's not like that worked out particularly well last time for her. "Bright is probably good," she considers. "Theatre chairs are horrible to fall asleep in."
Mostly, So-young is keeping gender thoughts to herself, and preferring to listen to Myunghon's take on them. There are a couple of friends back from university who seemed to be more in tune with this sort of stuff, and she's reasonably sure she's got a flutist who has been considering things upon the same lines, but... ... well... ... So-young's not great at paying attention to that sort of thing when someone's wavering over it and uncertain. She makes a mental note to bear that in mind, which might not even get discarded thoughtlessly by accident come the end of the day this time around.
If she notices Myunghon's spiralling, she doesn't mention it. Which probably means she doesn't, given how quick she usually is to push back against thought processes like that. "Uh. ... Akabane-san caught me up on what actually happens if you try to put the boot into someone's coffin during Dark Hour," she adds. "I hadn't known, or I probably wouldn't have tried it." 'Probably', she says.
<Pose Tracker> Mio Kazama has posed.
Mio cranes her head to look at So-Young, eyes full of wonder at nee-san's knowledge. To her, The Dark Hour is still just a spooky wonderland that she doesn't understand a lick of. "Oh--the coffins... I, uh, assume it's bad. I got the feeling I shouldn't mess with them even if I get really mad." it's a simple way of putting it, but, well... accurate. Even this young and ferocious thing has an inkling of not meddling too far with forces she doesn't understand. "And, um, if you can't go back to the bar... you can do what Ryo-san told me to do! Carry a big flashlight! You can get these ones that are like--dokKAN!--and then the other guy is freaking blind and you can run away whily they're all like--gwaarrrgh!"
Helpful hint given, Mio stands up gently and then extends both hands to Myunghon, to help them up if needed. "Do you wanna visit the bar at night together? If you want to investigate. It's okay if not." you can practically see her turning the volume dial back down after losing control of it while talking to So-Young. "I just wanna help some more. Especially while you're hurt. Ah, we can talk about it on the way, even."
<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.
"You kill them," is the succinct and punchy way Myunghon explains it. You could explain how you psychologically damage them and expose them to the harm of the Dark Hour and mindless Shadows will prey on them, but it all just seems like extraneous details when the effect is, in the end, you kill them. Much like how you kill someone with a spreadsheet.
Myunghon does rise, a little bit too quickly, at this -- the Coat spilling out from around them rather majestically. It is a really nice looking coat, much more fitted to their body than the one before it. Then they pause as they have to hold onto the back of a chair, misses, and has to hold onto Mio's hands instead, because the Coat doesn't actually work in mundane spaces. How annoying. How foolish. How... limiting.
"You may wish to consider stronger protective gear for venturing through the supernatural," Myunghon does advise So-young. "It doesn't have to be as crude as a gun. Even something that holds great sentimental value has great cognitive power."
They're off again, in their own little world. True power... it all feels just like a dream, but it's so real. The coat is real, after all, isn't it?
Do they want to visit the bar at night together? Myunghon nods gently. "... that would be useful. Thank you."
<Pose Tracker> So-young Park has posed.
"I've got my violin case," So-young points out to Mio as she mimics a baseball bat swing. It's not really clear how much she's joking, but her grin is full of mischievous relish at the thought of it, as if she absolutely has made an attempt at braining someone with it before. "And I've got my bow. I'll poke someone's eye out."
She softs slightly, turns a little more serious as she listens to Myunghon's advice - and then pats the pocket of her short jacket gently. "I've got something in mind," she nods, not saying anything more than that. Part of her wants to prove herself, and part of that means experimenting and figuring things out herself along the way.
"... you really might want to change at some point," she adds warily as she wrinkles her nose a little - not out of distaste, but more out of uncertainty. She's kind of aware that coat saved Myunghon's life, however that works, and she can kind of understand being incredibly attached to it given the situation right now. "I haven't dared look into it, but I'm assuming that doesn't automatically launder itself."
<Pose Tracker> Mio Kazama has posed.
Until such time as Myunghon is able to manifest extra limbs from shadows in the real world, they'll have friends to rely on to prop them upright! The young lady smiles patiently at them and takes their hands until they seem good and steady. "I hurt my head like this once, so I know how slow you have to take it. It's pretty annoying to deal with, but rushing doesn't help it..."
Also, at the talk of Myunghon's coat, the short girl in the black habit titters around quasi-nervously. "Um, we have some of that fabric spray in my closet if you think the coat needs it, but I honestly can't smell anything wrong with it...?" she looks between the two sisters. "... oh! Yeah, I should have asked if you wanted to bring any laundry that needs doing! I could have sat around at the laundromat while you two took it easy..."
<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.
It wouldn't be the strangest weapon they've seen in the cognitive world. It also wouldn't be that surprising for Myunghon to imagine So-young creating literal notes out of thin air and clubbing people with it. She also says she's got something sorted, though, so they'll leave it at that. They are also curious as to what they've got in mind... though hopefully it doesn't turn up with another gun that has to be disposed of.
"Oh, you did...? Was it from a car accident, or...?" Myunghon wonders. Car accident just seems like the first thing that seems like it would make sense from Mio Kazama's life, but there's a lot more they don't know of this bright girl that has a vengeful side.
But So-young points out they stink -- and there's a quiet frown as they sigh and stares at the small bag. "... all right. I suppose I will have to make do with the clothes you assigned me, then." They dare open it to look inside... but Mio asks if they need any laundry that needs doing. "Ah, I contacted Masao-san. I was going to have his family service take care of it... he said he'd do it for me."
<Pose Tracker> So-young Park has posed.
"That's not what I'm saying," So-young cuts in again over both of them, folding her arms with a glum frown. "You know I caught wind the other day of someone talking about a vampire in Sumaru? In a big coat made out of ribbon-y bandages? Sound familiar at all?" she puffs. "I'm just saying that it might be a better idea to go a little incognito and maybe not wear the same coat for three days straight, even if it is a security blanket."
At least she has some degree of a sense of propriety - the bag contains one (1) quite expensive-looking chunky sweater and one (1) quite expensive-looking pair of business slacks, both in black, and a dress shirt in white. The former item seems to be because she's caught wind of how often Myunghon seems to look cold. She looks inordinately proud of herself for holding back and not immediately subjecting an injured sibling to something over-the-top.
<Pose Tracker> Mio Kazama has posed.
A momentary shadow passes over Mio's eyes at Myunghon's question, though not out of any spite. It is the deductive reasoning honing in on the answer that gives her pause, but she steadfastly refuses to let her smile fade. "Oh, good guess. If I didn't have my seatbelt on, I would've been a goner." she doesn't sound perturbed or anything. "Jeez! You're an ace detective on top of everything else..." she puffs her cheeks out and looks over Myunghon's shoulder to So-Young. "Is there anything they *can't* do, or are you both just kinda ridiculously smart all the time?"
"Geh--I hadn't heard that rumour..." the rambunctious clergygirl nervously looks back out the window, as if expecting vampire hunters to be outside. "If you really are a vampire, you're safe here! We're not very good at the Church thing, so you probably wouldn't get smite-ed or anything..."
<Pose Tracker> Myunghon Yeo has posed.
"Wait... what?" Myunghon sounds genuinely surprised at So-young's mention of the rumour. "But I... when was that..." There's a somewhat stressed expression as they reach for their phone and start scrolling, then frowns a little bit deeper. Oh. Oh. Oh dear. It's only a minute and they put their hand to their face as they stop at the blurry photo of them jumping out of the hospital window. It all felt like a dream. Did it really happen?
The clothes aren't as earth-shattering as they expect, though, so finally, they relent and let the coat slip from their shoulders. They stiffen a little at the feeling. "I'll need some help changing this shirt," they gesture to the sling.
They don't miss how much effort it takes Mio to gloss over the wounds reopened from that assertion, though. "It was only a guess..." Myunghon expresses, because to say anything else might be to suspect they know something. Smart, though? "I think So-young would say a smart person probably wouldn't be so injured so often."
There is a contemplative frown, though. "There's over five thousand re-towitts of this rumour already... that horse has long since bolted." A pause. "I'm certain it's fine... that girl over at Yumezaki only mildly changed because of the rumour that she was a ninja. I don't think I'll catch fire in the sun..."
A pause. "Ah. I should have checked my direct messages. Chikalin is laughing and asking if that was me..."
<Pose Tracker> So-young Park has posed.
The conductor's smile is brilliant as she turns it towards Mio. "Oh, no. Don't worry, unless it comes to art or music I'm just a good old headstrong impatient moron," she supplies without missing a single beat, still incredibly proud for some reason. "Give me a mystery book to figure out and I'll just flip to the last three pages."
So-young is quick to peer over Myunghon's shoulder when she starts scrolling, though only until she catches sight of the photo. "Wow~," is her rather blunt estimation, tilde and all. "Someone had some pretty good reflexes to get that in time. Nice shot." She nearly misses Myunghon's concern about whether the rumour might have changed her, and it takes her a few moments to spool it back through her head and raise her eyebrows so high they nearly jump off her face. Someone is definitely not up on how rumours work yet.
Leaving that aside, she puffs. "No, I reckon a smart person would definitely get injured this often. Smart doesn't mean wise," she jabs lightly as she frowns at the sling, and then at the shirt, and tries to figure out the logistics of this situation. "... I've never done this before," she admits.
