<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
The Kagurazaka neighborhood exists on the east part of Shinjuku Ward, near Iidabashi Station. Historically, it was adjacent to Edo Castle, just past its moat. In more recent times, it serves as a popular cuisine destination, full of eateries of the highest calibre featuring both traditional Japanese and French eateries. Most businesses along the street are closed for the evening, however ...
It runs parallel to Karukozaka street and its canal, which served the more utilitarian purpose of shipping transit, loading and unloading goods to and from the canal connected to the Kanda River. Notably, Tamaki's old high school is on this old road, too. It's just a back alley stroll away.
Today in late July, Kagurazaka hosts its yearly Awa Odori festival as part of Obon (a few weeks earlier than when Tokushima holds theirs -- same origin, different timing!). Various festival stalls and viewer seating line the sides of the one-way street as performers prepare for the parade. It's quite crowded and noisy!
Tamaki scans the crowd as the pair of them arrive on-foot from the station. "Ohhh ... hope it isn't too late for us to get a good pair of seats. What do you think, though?"
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
Maki hasn't had reason to come out here before! There's a lot of Tokyo she hasn't explored, because there's a whole lot of Tokyo. But she likes French food!
...Well, she can have the food later, maybe. Maki walks along in a nice gray dress sleeveless dress with a light half-jacket in white, a little monochromatic--but that is her way. Maki has... complex feelings about Obon in general, but she can sit with those, live with them as instead she walks along with Tamaki.
"I'm sure it'll be fine!" Maki says of the seats, displaying a formidable optimism. She notes that the crowds and noise once would've bothered her more... But now she finds it exciting. The sights, the smells...
"I think it's great!" Maki says. "So lively!"
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
Tamaki's primary interest in festivals has, invariably, been the food. Given that she grew up around here, it's probably easy to see why. Every so often she looks more at the sides of the road than at the center, no doubt pondering her choice of meal -- but then she remembers what her priorities should be here. Still, though, she feels compelled to ask, "Any thoughts on food? We can claim some seats, then I can get us something."
Spotting a few unclaimed seats, she strolls up and asks the people nearby if they're not saving them for anyone else, then excitedly waves Maki in closer. "Is here good?"
Tamaki laughs and nods. "It definitely is lively! It's been a few years for me, but it's nice to visit again." Tamaki's got some complicated feelings on the area, especially the area one street over, not so much about Obon. But, given Tamaki and Maki's shared insistence on revisiting their pasts, those feelings have subsided a bit.
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
"Food sounds great," Maki says. "Maybe something fried? That's kinda half the fun of a festival..." A smile. "But if you know what's best here, go for whateer!" Seats, then food. Maki can go witht hat arrangement, and Maki scurries over when Tamaki waves her down. "Here's great!" she says, and promptly takes one of the seats to claim it.
"Going back somewhere you haven't been in a while is always a weird feeling, isn't it?" she asks. "But it can be nice, too. I'll guard your seat!" Since Tamaki wanted to grab something to eat. ...Maki remembers, of course, that part of the idea is to talk, after all, not just watch.
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
"Fried cutlets it is! I know just the place." With a grin, Tamaki's off like a shot.
And back in just as much time! Tamaki is well aware that today's not the kind of day to slowly savor a gourmet meal, it's a day to get something that's filling enough but portable enough that you can eat on the go. Her choice today is the perfect blend of cheap, quick, and tasty.
She returns, cutlets in hand, and looks off towards the other street with a pensive look. She belatedly replies, " -- it is a weird feeling. I thought it'd be a worse feeling, but now it's merely weird."
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
Zoom! Maki is happy to guard the seat in the meantime, but she doesn't actually have to shoo off anyone trying to claim it before Tamaki's back. Maybe the gourmet meal can come another day; for now, "Fried cutlet!" Maki cheers, and then looks over at that other street as Tamaki looks that way. She considers it for a moment, before looking back to Tamaki herself.
"...I guess there's something to be said for not as bad as you think. But that can add to the weirdness, can't it?"
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
"Like the feeling you get when you hit your elbow. Yeah." Tamaki punctuates her statement by immediately biting into her cutlet. "Have you been back to Mikage-cho since graduating? I haven't."
She gives a few furtive glances around at the crowd, then the parade soon to start up, then back at Maki. "Do you want to talk about that stuff here and now, or find somewhere quieter after?"
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
Maki takes a bite next, content to let the matter of the elbow feeling to stay where it is while she does. Until the crowd is watching the parade...
"Probably better to wait," Maki says. "Nobody's listening, most likely..."
"But you don't keep secrets secret by going 'most likely'."
"So let's enjoy the parade for now, then find somewhere quiet to talk?"

Tamaki leans back in her seat and settles in. She flashes a grin Maki's way before turning her attention back to the street parade and the remainder of her food. "Sounds good to me!"
The parade begins! The dancers and musicians come in waves, each section with their own distinct outfit coordination and choreography. The crowd cheers and chants along, Tamaki included! The dancers and watchers are fools alike.
The procession lasts about an hour, all told, and the crowd erupts into applause as the last section passes them by. Stalls start to close up, and the festival-goers start to disperse, themselves.
Tamaki's still seated, now quiet after the cheers have ended. After a few moments, she looks back at Maki and jerks her head in the direction of one of the alleys. "Should be quieter over there."
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
And it /is/ /good. Maki grins back, before cheering at the dancers and musicians. She may not know all the particular chants they'd use here, but that just means being louder at the parts she can do! Maki too applauds, and she revels in the fact that it /doesn't/ take up all her energy to do. She still feels excited, still feels alive.
...But there's some other things to attend, too. Maki's cutlet long gone, she looks back to Tamaki, and then nods. "I'll check it out," she says.
Maki steps over, glances around the alley and, finding it empty of celebrants and other people, waves over Tamaki.
It's a nicer alley than it could be; this one doesn't have an open dumpster. It's just an alley!
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
Tamaki stretches her arms and back as she walks into the alley, then leans against the wall of a building. It's more of a side road exit, with cobblestone instead of the paved main road.
A final glance leeeft, then a final glance riiight, just to make sure no one else is in sight.
With arms folded, she looks over to Maki. "Alright. I can go first, since we're ... here and all. I mean here here."
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
The cobblestones are nice enough. And it is in fact empty; if someone's trying to listen in from outside, it'll be hard given the celebrations ongoing. So they are reasonably alone.
Maki looks at Tamaki, and nods. She stands with her body language open still, instead of crossing her arms.
"Right," she says. "...So it was around here..."
She prepares to listen.
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
Tamaki bites her cheek for a moment before proceeding. There's a right way to talk about this particular subject, and it's not going to be something that makes her sound like the big damn hero.
"There was a boy at the high school here when I attended. I don't remember if he was in the same grade or if he was an upperclassman, but he wasn't in the same class as me. He was kind of ..."
Tamaki closes her eyes and tilts her head to the side. "You remember Toro from St. Hermelin, right? People picked on him a lot. It was kind of like that with this boy, too, but several orders of magnitude worse. He had a deadbeat dad, and his mom and sister left the family, too."
She straightens her head back up again. "I don't ... exactly know how he managed it, but he performed some kind of 'occult ritual' and threw the school into a cognitive space. Demons were all over except for a few hallways. Going outside didn't lead back here anymore, it led to some other weird places, all based around some kind of sin. The way he boasted about it, he was putting us students and the faculty into a hell crafted by him as punishment."
She pauses to assess: How's Maki taking it so far?
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
A boy. ...Maki remembers Toro, of course. But worse.
Tamaki mentions his deadbead dad, and Maki grimaces; she knows that experience, after all. But even his mom and sister...
Maki's eyes widen about throwing the school into a cognitive space. Her reaction is one of alarm, and then understanding, and then quiet acceptance. "...Doing it on purpose," she reflects. "To punish people..."
She doesn't love it.
"I understand. I've seen spaces like that, too. Though not quite like what you describe."
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
Tamaki sighs and unfolds her arms, placing them on her side. "Well ... on some level, we deserved it. He didn't deserve to be treated the way he was. I can't blame him for snapping back in at least some manner."
She scratches her cheek. "But it was excessive. His sister, Reiko -- " Her eyes widen and she waves her hands in front of her. "Different Reiko! Not your boss."
Clearing her throat, she resumes. " -- his sister and I teamed up to try and find him. De-escalate the situation, you know? Get the school back to normal. Make sure everyone gets home back to the real world safely."
Tamaki does some shadowboxing and throws a few punches into the air. "So we took what the sports clubs would let us take along, wandered out into those sin-based realms, aaand ..."
"Promptly ate shit and died." Is she ... grinning? Is she trying to prank Maki? She's clearly still standing there alive and well.

"...Right," Maki says. Snapping back... "It's just a big way to do it."
His sister--not her Reiko, but a different Reiko--Maki nods twice to show that she gets it--and listens further. They teamed up, and... Maki continues to watch Tamaki, and her expression is pretty somber now. "Right. It's important to find the root of it, like that."
The sports clubs let them take some equipment, they wandered off, and--
"????"
Maki blinks. "...I mean, that's obviously not how it ended..."
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
Tamaki nods. "It wasn't. This is a hell crafted by this vengeful kid, remember? Death was too good for us by his reckoning. Both of us had the same dream whenever we died. We were wandering a vast expanse and happened across a river. A robed ferryman waited there with his boat. We'd offer him some coins to cross, but he'd refuse them and send us back, saying it wasn't our time yet. He'd send a guardian spirit with us to escort us back to the waking world."
"Then we'd wake up, our bodies intact and our wounds healed." She points to her necklace. "And this thing showed up that first time."
She points a finger in the air, gesturing towards nothing in particular. "It's no Persona Game, but that was when Reiko and I Awakened. We only ever had one Persona each at any given time, but each time we died, we'd come back with a different one. It'd be weaker or stronger ... I think based on how we acted in each new life and how much respect we treated it with."
"We died a lot. There are some more details about the entire journey, but that's probably best saved for another time." No need to go into every single thing, especially not where she and Reiko went separate ways for a bit. (And especially, especially not that goddamn Realm of Sloth.)
"Eventually, the two of us caught up with Reiko's brother again. We had to stand our ground in a fight first, but after we had exhausted his strength, Reiko promised to be there for him. That's all he had ever wanted, from anyone. A friend. An affectionate family member. An authority figure who'd actually listen and console him instead of looking the other way when other kids bullied him. Something that wasn't just the pain of loneliness."
"The two of them stayed behind in that cognitive realm, but the school returned to normal. After what felt like weeks, no time had passed at all. The whole thing was blamed on a gas leak, some missing persons reports were filed, but it was for Hazama so no one besides me gave a shit."
Tamaki looks over at Maki. "So, you know, at least some of that ending rhymes with what happened a couple of years later."
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
"That's..." Maki thinks about it, but it makes sense. "I see. That's really something." A robed ferryman, with his boat. "I wonder if it was all him, or if it was..." Could there really be such a ferryman?
Either way, "Oh." The necklace she always wears. "Is that why you always wear it?"
"Huh... I guess that makes sense given the idea it's a 'hell'. A lot of mythologies have the idea of multiple afterlives, multiple planes through which you have to go to achieve... well, whatever you're supposed to achieve."
"Another time is OK." But they died a lot. "That must've been hard. We got close, but never quite went over the line--well, not most of us... and those who did didn't come back."
He was lonely. Maki looks a little pained at that. "I see..."
"Mm."
"So they stayed behind, and it was over. ...It definitely rhymes," she says. "It rhymes more than a little--and not just with the coverup."
"Only..."
"I didn't do it on purpose," she admits, "But I was the Hazama, for this one. The strange world that showed up, all the changes to ours, the way we were transported and the city was cut off..."
"It came from me. Me, Kandori-san, and something called the DEVA system."
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
Tamaki blinks, wholly oblivious to who Maki could really mean. "Eh? If it was who?" In her own mind, she's picturing someone more like Jizo.
She holds the coins on the necklace up and nods. "Yep. Can't summon my Persona without it."
Tamaki furrows her brow and holds her chin between her index finger and thumb. "The whole thing felt like ... being refined. Who decides what I was supposed to achieve? Did someone out there intend for me to be like -- some product of a process? I still don't have a ton of answers about everything."
It rhymes 'more than a little' -- that garners a quiet eyebrow-raise from Tamaki. "I had my suspicions."
Maki was the Hazama?! Tamaki stares in surprise at the statement, but her expression softens as Maki continues.
"You ... and Kandori. I recognize the name, I've looked into SEBEC's history. And the -- DEVA system? That sounds ... more technological than an 'occult ritual.'"
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
"Oh, I just... Wonder if it wasn't some 'higher power', or if it was all because of the ritual. We met one, once. A sort of... guide. I wonder if it's related."
But the coins on the necklace do make it stand out. And that's what Tamaki needs to summon her Persona.
"I see... That's what I wonder, too. Was it a byproduct of Hazama-san's ritual and world? Or was it something else? I kinda wonder immediately, too."
But Tamaki stares in surprise, and maki nods. "It was technological," she says, "The sort of technology that interfaces with the human mind and heart."
"...Long story short, he hooked me up to this machine, and my imagination took over the city when he turned it on. It wasn't separate worlds based on sin or anything--instead, there were different... Makis, if that makes sense. You might've met one; the one who came with everyone to help with the SEBEC incident was part of me, but not the full 'me'."
"Our friends were able to stop Kandori-san, when he became... a god, using my power. But that wasn't the end of it."
"...There were parts of me that helped, and parts of me that worked with Kandori-san. But the last 'part' they found was my despair. ...Stuck in the hospital, in pain, probably unlikely to live to twenty..."
"I wanted to destroy everything," she says. "That 'me'... She wanted a world of nothingness. And she almost made it happen."
"But in the end, our friends... helped me. They put me back together. But all the people who died still died. It didn't take up 'time', just like yours... But it still cost lives. Lives that were lost because of me." She looks down.
"...That's why I want to help with what's going on now," Maki explains. "I... owe that. To pay it forward, what was done for me."
"...You don't have to tell me it wasn't my fault. I know. I didn't choose it. But that doesn't mean it isn't my responsibility."

<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
Tamaki returns her hand to her chin. "Yeah. Our guides could be related. Who knows at this point?"
She listens to Maki intently. 'Technology that interfaces with the mind and heart' causes her to narrow her eyes in recognition. But commenting on that can and should wait.
Separate Makis. Tamaki nods firmly and places her hand back at her side. "Yeah, I remember you stopping by the classroom after stopping Toro. I was a bit surprised you were up and about at the time, but now that makes sense." She clears her throat behind a hand. "I, ah, acted like I didn't see what happened with Toro to prevent, y'know, everyone from joining in."
Maki continues on about all of the other parts, the ones she hadn't met. She glances away. "Oh -- yyyeah, along the way in Hazama's realm, I had to fight myself. Or some other version of myself, representing some repressed desires." There are a LOT of details she's omitting here, and she just skimmed over it before.
She returns her gaze back to Maki. "So ... I can relate at least a little bit to having different parts of yourself wanting different things." She flicks her eyes back out to the street, then back to Maki. "I did say that we kind of deserved what Hazama put us through, at least on some level. I thought that for months after helping make things normal again. Wondered if what I did was a mistake. Especially every time people laughed at Hazama's disappearance, feeling glad he's gone."
Kagurazaka's close enough. This alleyway's close enough. Some part of her can't bring herself to go back to the actual connecting street. Here, but no farther. Maki almost made it happen. On some level, Tamaki feels she'd do something she'd regret if she took a few more steps out the other side of the alley.
Tamaki closes her eyes. "It's probably not quite the same as your deal. Not on the same level, I'd imagine. But it's important that you face it and admit it. It's a part of you that you can't look away from." She reopens her eyes and brightly smiles at Maki. "So it sounds to me like you're doing the right thing."
"And I try to make sure no one I know goes through what Hazama did. The reason I'm a private detective is to be like ... a representative for outsiders like him, another option for people who the crowd unfairly turns against."
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
Who knows, indeed?
"Mm-hm. ...I don't remember, of course; I don't have her memories. But I'm told the sorts of things she did. That's why 'I' was up and around; in her ideal world, that Maki had never been sick in the first place."
But she fought herself, too? "Oh!" Maki says. "Yeah, I see. They ran into some 'other thems' too, I think."
But... different parts, different things, and... Hazama. "I see... Well, it's not right to treat someone that way, that's for sure," Maki says. "But is torment the answer? I'm not so sure. Punishment, justice... It's hard to know what they really mean."
"...I don't blame you wondering at all."
Maki isn't going to force the matter at all. And well, sure, it's not the same, but, "Right. I won't look away from it," she says. "It's 'me'. And one of the most important things you can do is understnad 'you'."
Maki says smiles. "...That's a good thing to do, too. Well, I'll support you in that. Maybe..."
"Maybe knowing this, we can both move forward more strongly."
A pause. "I think my friends could be of help, too. They're experienced at this stuff, and... Well, they're good people. So think about it."
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
"Hmm. So both cognitive realms were formed by the desires of a key person. Different parts of Hazama desired revenge and companionship, different parts of you wanted to not be sick and to end it all ..."
Tamaki snaps her fingers. "Ah! Perhaps that was the point of -- well, the way you said it, different afterlives taking you where you have to go to achieve whatever you have to achieve. Maybe some other part of him used that as a filtering mechanism, some other part of him wanted to believe there was someone out there who wasn't as cruel as the people he'd known so far, someone who would be his friend."
And that'd be Reiko.
So where does that put Tamaki?
Tamaki shakes her head -- "No, no, of course torment isn't the answer. I'm saying things shouldn't have gotten that bad for him in the first place. That's what I came around to. Like maybe I can save someone else from being a Hazama."
One of the most important things you can do is understand 'you.' That elicits a grin from Tamaki. Surely she's looked closely at all aspects of herself and there's nothing she's ignoring.
Well. Mostly. 95% there.
"And I'll support you, too! But your friends, huh? The group that went on to put Mikage-cho back to normal?"
Warning 'my-desc' for Maki Sonomura(#60PenA):

<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
"Yes. ...Desires, imagination, something--mine was formed of how my internal landscape saw Mikage-cho, influenced by what I wanted. Aki wanted a father, and found him in Kandori-san; Mai wanted to be left alone. ...It's complicated, but..."
Hmmm. Different afterlives. "That could make sense," Maki says. Where does that put Tamaki?
"Ohh. ...Yes, that's true. I think that's a good goal. ...After all, it's not just the supernatural; the supernatural aggravates the real. That's what I've found, anyway."
She smiles again. "That's right. I'll put you in touch with the others... but you can probably guess, given how close we all tried to stay."
"...Kei Nanjo is one of us. It may be hard to trust the Nanjo Group, given all that happened... But the man himself, I trust with my life. Literally."
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
"'The supernatural aggravates the real' is a good way of putting it. That's why my focus has, at least historically, been more on the 'real' side of that coin -- an ounce of prevention and all that." Tamaki winks at Maki.
"Eriko-chan was in that group, right? I actually did ask her to go see a carnival down in Konan Ward the other day. We had a lot of fun there!" Tamaki beams brightly at the recent memory, but then remembers herself and her smile disappears. " -- but there were Demons there, and the sensation of Resonance, and either they had some really advanced construction technology or reality warped so that a carnival simply manifested out of thin air, so something's definitely up on the supernatural side of things."
Tamaki half-closes her eyes at the mention of Kei. "Good to know. I'll take your word for it, in that case. I still don't know if I can trust the Nanjo Group overall, but I'm ... open to the possibility."
She leans forward and lowers her voice even further, muttering in a conspiratorial tone. "But something's definitely fishy with the Kirijo Group. They've got technology that, similar to what you said about the DEVA system, interfaces with the heart and mind. Other tech they've got actually functions during the Dark Hour."
"Makes you think a bit. What'd SEBEC tap into? What'd the Kirijo Group tap into? Who gave Hazama the means to do what he did? Are they all the same thing, or different means that just rely on the same principles?"
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
"That makes sense. I try to focus on that, too--it's why I'm studying therapy. ...A different angle towards the same problem." She smiles at the wink. It's nice.
"Yes," Maki confirms. "Elly-chan's still one of my best friends. ...But a carnival with demons?" she wonders. "That reminds me of what happened before... but it went fine?" Something's up, all right.
"Honestly... I wouldn't trust the Group as a whole," she admits. "But Kei-kun himself? Definitely."
But quietly--something's fishy. "Hmm... That's really something. I wonder... You know, they used to be part of the Nanjo Group."
"Makes you think for sure. But... For that, I don't know, but I think..."
"I think everyone is connected," Maki explains. "My mind, your mind. To a great sea of souls... a sort of... deeper consciousness."
"...Just an impression I've gotten, from what I've seen. From what I've felt. I'm not sure how exactly to explain it."
There are researchers who died for the kind of knowledge Maki's just guessing at from her own experiences. Don't worry about that. It's fine.
"...But maybe we can find out. The answers to those questions."
<Pose Tracker> Tamaki Uchida has posed.
Tamaki blinks in a mixture of mild confusion and genuine curiosity. "'What happened before' 'went fine'? What, was there a DEVA system carnival in Mikage-cho?"
"Nanjo-kun himself, but not the group overall. Understood, then."
"And yeah, I'm well aware that they were! The Nanjo and Kirijo groups split sometime ... what, the late '80s, early '90s? Whereas the Nanjo group bought SEBEC just a few years ago after the Mikage-cho incident. And apparently -- this is hearsay, I haven't seen it for myself yet -- "
She lowers her voice to an agitated whisper, excitedly hissing out the occasional word here or there. "But. But! Over at Port Island, there's some big tower that springs out of the ground during the Dark Hour -- right where a Kirijo lab used to be before it exploded ten years ago, not three. Everything seems so -- disparate, like all the players are relevant, but there's no obvious throughline. I've been scouring EDINET for the last week for anything!"
Finally, after she finishes her little tangential rant, she deflates. Then perks right back up again when she hears everything is connected. "... Yeah, given what's going on in Sumaru with rumors and common beliefs outright becoming reality, I'd believe that. Don't know why that's local to just Sumaru, but I mean ... well, I've been trying to understand that and stop it before it goes too far and someone breaks in a Hazama-like fashion."
Tamaki frowns as she recalls a possible candidate for that. "... Or at least keep a certain situation from getting worse."
<Pose Tracker> Maki Sonomura has posed.
"Oh, sorry. I'm just thinking aloud. I don't know of anything else that layers a supernatural space over the real world, though. Obviously it can't be the DEVA system, so there must be something I don't know that causes it. But it sounds like nobody got hurt, so..."
Understood.
A big tower. Maki's eyes widen. "A tower..." She'll just have to see it for herself--she nods. "We should look into it. That, and the greater number of Persona-users congregating in these areas lately..."
"Right. Honestly, I don't know either. But I'm sure of that much, at least."
"...Mm," Maki says. "Well, let me know if I can help with that one. For now..."
Maki gives a lopsided look. "I'm gtting a little tired. All these heavy topics are starting to weigh on me a little."
"But at least we have some places to start, right? ...And with the break, a lot more time to look at it."

Tamaki nods. "Ah. I ... think I know of something, but I don't know how much I'm at liberty to speak on it. I definitely don't understand it well enough to explain."
Flatly, she adds, "If you or your friends ever need a quick starting explanation for anything new you're dealing with, there's a decent chance I know enough to get started. I have ... a breadth of knowledge. No real depth anywhere just yet. And no promises, there's stuff I keep finding out that's all new to me. I'd also suggest a particular message board with Persona-users on it, if you can stand to filter out a bunch of genuine nonsense."
Tamaki slumps back against the wall and stifles a yawn. "Yeahhhh. You're telling me, my batteries are draining. I try to not go all 'red string on corkboard' except for when I'm actually on working hours. I've had boatloads of cases for weeks, I've had exams, I've been pounding coffee cans for over a month but I should actually get some rest."
Still slumped back, she shoots forward a thumbs-up gesture. It's the best her body can do at the moment. "But we've got places to start, yes!"
