(|=============================== Ebisu Beach ================================|)
-================================================== Sumaru City/Konan Ward ====-
One of the more picturesque parts of the city, Ebisu Beach is a hot spot in the
summer and deserted every other time. Only a small portion of it is accessible
to the city; the rest follows the highway that leads out of the city into the
mountains to the west, so if one were *really* dedicated to getting privacy, one
could always move further that way for a day at the beach.

The part that is accessible is *extremely* accessible, though, stretching out
before multiple apartment buildings and the Seaside Mall alike. The local
currents make it easy for things to wash ashore, so beachcombers are common at
all times of the year. Trash in the dunes is sparse but present.
<Pose Tracker> Eikichi Mishina has posed.

A show at the abandoned shrine near the private side of the beach...it's a novel idea. Artistic for sure. The shrine itself has seen better days, mostly falling into disrepair from lack of care. Still, it would appear that beyond the steps, several of the weeds have been removed to form a makeshift stage somewhat closer to the alter. While some care has been given to the audience area, some smaller weeds still stand amongst the students gathered.

The "stage" has been set up with second hand gasoline generators, which rumble as they chug out the juice for the band to play with. On the stage, all the instruments are set up....A guitar, a bass, a drum set with some a small keyboard set up.

Between the rumbling from the generators, the ocean, and those gathered, there is a commotion as the day light begins to fade into evening. Green and blue fairy lights turn on, making the Shrine appear to be bathed in otherworldly fireflies.

From the stairs, a girl begins to move through the crowd. She looks stern as she approaches the drum kit, sitting down and beginning to play what sounds like an electric organ. There is a moment where it sounds like a funeral dirge. From the stairs, a punk stands at the front of a presession, being joined by a man in all black cowboy attire. The duo and the girl on the drums begin to sing. " I'm crucified...Crucified like my savioooor...Saintlike behaviooor...A lifetime I prayed "

The pair move toward their instruments, solemnly singing as they get ready.

From behind the alter, Eikichi wearing a priest jacket comes in with a microphone and starts to sing his part, coming together with the band as they are all on "stage" now.

" I've seen the deepest darkness... And wrestled with gods... Ride the noble harness... Raining cats and dogs. I stand before my maker Like Moses on the hill... My Guinness record baker... I abide your will " Eikichi sings, moving along the "stage", grinning as he goes. He seems to have grown a lot since the last show. The new band is also able to keep up with Eikichi's energy.

Eikichi's jacket pops open, he lets the wind expose his chest, which appears a brilliant white under the night sky. " The first of reciters... I saw eternal light... Best of vocal fighters... Beyond human sight... Where thorns are a teaser... I've played a double jeux ...Yherushalaim at Easter --I cry I pray mon dieu... I cry I pray mon dieu "

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

Yua introduced herself to their Gods, stepping in, and asked them to excuse her for the state of things. That's probably normal.

What isn't normal: she's not wearing a ballerina's leotard today. She's dressed in a purple V-necked blouse with froofy armless straps, and a wrapped denim skirt, layered at the side of her leg, which falls a few inches below her knees. She wears blue lipstick, and there's a spiked collar around her neck, with spiked bracelets around her tawny arms, though -- are those studs real silver?! Her hiking boots are accompanied by those usual compression socks; she can't escape them.

Notably, it might be a little hard to tell that she's their teacher at a glance, because the usual bun wound tightly on the back of her head has been replaced by a teal braid hanging down to mid-back -- who knew sensei's hair was so long?! -- plus two smaller braids framing either side of her head like a hime.

Still, she is a Kasugayama teacher, and so it's not hard to believe that she's here to chaperone. It's even true! But, you know, she's trying to blend in. To be a cool chaperone.

The melody is familiar to her -- perhaps some soldiers listened to it, back in the day -- but she can't place it off hand; she sits herself down on a dilapidated bench, because of course Miho was very clear about mosh pits. (Bad for the baby. Bad for Yua!) She claps along to the music, instead, cheerfully.

(The reason she's sitting down... probably has something to do with how she is visibly pregnant.)

<Pose Tracker> Yukari Takeba has posed.

This beach brings a lot of bad memories to Yukari Takeba. It's what got her involved in the Supernatural outside of Tatsumi Port Island in the first place.

The New World Order- the attempt to kill cops.

Still, she's here tonight among the crowd alone because well, she heard there was a free outdoor concert- "Are they Indie? Alternative?" She speculates to herself softly, aloud. "It was kinda hard to get concrete information..."

It would have been nice if Minato asked her here, wouldn't it? Unfortunately she can't exactly ask him. That'd be- no she can't do that.

They have a shared interest in music but...

She's wearing currently an off the shoulder flowy pink and white sweater dress that's tied end over the end on each of her flanks in a crisscross of dark satin that ends in ribbons, with her black mini-skirt, and longer leggings.

Her hands laced behind the back. And then as they take the stage and begin-

"Wait... this isn't some... Kurisuchan band right?" Her nose wrinkles, "I sure hope not..."

She's making a face as they begin, especially when Eikichi comes onto the stage in a Priest Jacket. "Well his makeup is really... Visual Kei. Maybe it's all just allegory?"

And then the song starts in earnest, with their headliner at the fore, and she blinks in surprise, "Huh. Yeah actually...? Not bad?" Maybe this is something she can get into.

But if the band tells her to repent her sins and get baptized before the next number, she's definitely leaving.

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

A secret concert out by an abandoned shrine, on the beach. It's the kind of thing that Lisa Silverman would be into! She likes music. And she likes secrets. So she showed up!

She's in a miniddress with a jacket, with ankle boots. And she's padding along the beach when she sees--

"Ehhhh?" Lisa says, from behind and to the side of Yukari. "I didn't hear anything like that," about a Christian band. But--she considers.

"Not bad, though... Hey." She flashes a V-sign at Yukari.

"Yeah, it's kinda classic in a way..."

Then she realizes--

"Aiyah! Wait! It's that guy!?"

...She didn't mean to be quite that loud.

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

The air has gotten nippier the later in the season it's gotten. Jun Kashihara arrives for Gas Chamber's beach shrine concert in his school uniform, but with a windbreaker overtop it to cut the cold. The wind itself is quite nice. Jun has always liked a nice sea breeze.

He notes right away that Gas Chamber's members have all changed--all except for Eikichi himself. The new members are much better at playing their instruments and matching Eikichi's energy, for all that this song is a solemn one. His theatrics are still on par, too.

A familiar voice turns his head, and Jun looks in time to see Lisa yell about 'that guy!' over next to Yukari. "Ah, Takeba-san, Lisa-san," he says with a welcoming smile, keeping his voice low to not compete with the music bu not so low they can't hear. "Good to see you both here tonight too."

He glances over at Yua, sitting on that bench while visibly pregnant. She seems to be having a good time--he's glad for that, but he worries a little about how she seems to be alone. He hopes that's just for the moment...

<Pose Tracker> Hyousuke Suzuki has posed.

Most evenings saw Hyousuke preparing to bomb around Sumaru spoiling for a fight, picking them with whatever Demons and Shadows were unfortunate enough to cross his path. Most evenings saw him getting ready to stay up late, taking hits and doling them out. Most saw him warming up to do battle, no matter what form it took. But that night was different. That night, he'd chosen to venture out to a private area of the beach, dodging the ever-vigilant gazes of law enforcement and worrywart adults, wondering what he was doing there as the night began to take hold.

That night, he was there to cheer Kasugayama's big boss on, and have fun with his friends while he was there.

Dressed in a light jacket, jeans, and that ever-familiar pair of mud-brown shoes, Hyousuke's outfit was a far cry from the extravagant getup that Eikichi and his fellows had donned. Not that he seemed to notice, or indeed, care. The music wasn't his usual fare, and there were unfamiliar faces mixed into the crowd, but none of it mattered that much. For one night, he could forget about the fighting and the mysteries and the fear, and just live a little. Besides, he supposed, he owed it to himself. He'd done quite well on his exams (compared to previous years at his previous school), and a night out seemed a fitting reward.

Between all his cheering, clapping, and various other concert-suitable gestures, he made sure to call out to those he recognised - Jun and Lisa primarily, though he could have sworn that Yua was there too. He supposed he could check on that after the music was through. Awkwardly barging his way through a throng of bodies just to say hi to anyone he recognised didn't seem like a particularly fun idea.

<Pose Tracker> Ririka Kawase has posed.

Ririka has been... to say she's been stressed would be a bit of an understatement. She did okay on her midterms, but not as well as she'd hoped, and there was just... everything to do with the Joker Killer.

And she's not too keen to be back here on this particular beach so soon, but... maybe a concert will be a good distraction? Ririka certainly hopes so, anyway. And she's curious to see how Gas Chamber has come along since their last show.

She's here with her hair half up in a ponytail, dark makeup, a leather choker and bracelets, along with a black denim jacket, purple top, a leather skirt, tights, and her favorite boots. Sadly, there's not really any boots that make her shorter. Oh well.

Though she's frowning a little as she sees the new band members take the stage. They're good, but... she's hoping eikichi didn't just ditch them after that last concert...

"He's just really showy like that, Takeba-san," Ririka asides to Yukari when she notes Eikichi's appearance. "Their last show was in an ex-prison. It was awesome."

Lisa exclaims, and Ririka looks her way. "Oh, you know the leader...?"

But a familiar voice draws her attention, and she gives Jun a small smile as she sees him. "Hey, Kashihara-san. How've you been?" Considering they haven't had a chance to really talk since his kidnapping... but she's not about to bring that up here.

<Pose Tracker> Eikichi Mishina has posed.

The song concludes and Eikichi takes a moment to take in the crowd reaction. He smiles wickedly, leaning forward. "How y'all doing? Tonight, lets pour out a drink for a real hater. Where ever he is, rest in piss, Joker! I'm nobody's roadie!" He doesn't elaborate on which Joker is the hater but it should be obvious.

"So a lot of you have been wanting to meet the band. So before we go to the next song...On guitar, he used to play with the crashing waves at this very shrine...The god hand on the strings! Jiro!" Eikichi gestures to the punk on his left. The punk responds with a heavy riff before nodding with a neutral expression.

"On bass, a East meets west phenomenon...The man with one name....Tex." A Japanese man in a black cowboy hat grins before tipping his hat and responding with a bass riff. Eikichi smiles but there is a sign of it slipping a little as he makes his way to the girl on drums.

"On drums and keyboard...The monster of Harajuku...Madoka!" Eikichi is about to move but the mic is snatched from him but the pink haired girl in kawaii aesthetic fashion.

"ALRIGHT YOU MOTHER FUCKERS! LETS FUCKIN GO! WIPE UP THOSE PISS STAINS AND LET OUT THOSE#$&*&@#(*&^#76$#^!#76---" Madoka is cut off by a nervous Eikichi wrestling back the microphone, followed by Madoka just flicking him off with a grin. Eikichi smiles nervously. "Uhhh---HELL YEAH! LETS GET TO THE NEXT SONG!"

The show goes on for a good bit. They play some more covers but also some original tracks! Unfortunately the lyrics to "Love Bomb", "Mask of the Heart", and "Sexy Beautiful" were lost in translation and won't be featured here. You would've enjoyed them!

At the end of the show, the band is all in various parts of the Shrine grounds. Jiro, who is a 17 year old student from Gekkoukan, is currently tuning his guitar. Eikichi is at the head of the crowd, basically being a social butterfly. Tex, a college student, is off near the beach smoking....well away from the woman who carrying a child. And Madoka, a Sevens student, is lurking as you are never safe from the pink haired menace.

 Pick your poison.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

Ah, well... yes. There was some unpleasantness on Ebisu Beach.

    (Which she caused.)

But Yua is eventually going to have to stop avoiding the most homely part of the city.

Where's Minato, though? Minato is at home, playing video games; he hadn't heard about a concert all the way out here. Tsubasa is hanging around here somewhere, but is assuredly too into the music to be much for conversation.

Yua does have to giggle, where she's sitting near Yukari, when she hears her wonder whether it's a Christian band. But it's only when she hears them wondering who the singer is that she pipes up -- "Why, that's Eikichi Mishina! Isn't he talented? I'm sure he'll hold a magnificent concert!"

CHEESE IT, IT'S AN ADULT! HIDE THE BOOZE!

oh wait, they're good kids, they wouldn't do that...

There's one good thing about a worrywart adult (as Hyousuke might put it) being here, though -- she can explain things to the cops if they end up staying out a bit too late. Why, they even say Yua is married to a cop! ... wait, does that mean she's here to narc on them?! Surely not. She's enjoying the music!

"A prison is a very striking concert location," Yua adds, smiling, to Ririka. (Is she also one of her students?) And Jun -- who certainly is -- is the one she looks to, as she asks: "Do you often hold functions there?"

It's... it's not cool to call them 'functions', mama...

She does note, thoughtfully, that Eikichi knows who the Joker is, too -- though the way she says it is, "Oh, how terrible... one of those 'Jokers' let him down..."

But it's time to meet the band. Yua finger-whistles to salute them! Two fingers in the mouth, twoooooo... it's a distinctly Okinawan sound.

(When Madoka lets out a long string of cuss words, Yua just giggles, quite delighted.)

Once the band finishes up their tracks, though, Yua picks herself up from her bench -- and apparently can't see the boy underage smoking, because, surely, there's an eyepatch across her left eye. She goes to congratulate Eikichi, instead, smiling to him. "You held a wonderful concert, Mishina-kun! 'Mask of the Heart' was so moving...!"

<Pose Tracker> Yukari Takeba has posed.

"Oh! Risa-chan! I didn't know you were going to be here!" She grins at her as the music number continues, as well she assumed a big time idol can't go to a beach concert.

"I'm glad you are there. Being alone at a concert is always a little... ehhhhhh..."

She knows what she means. Being a girl alone anywhere at an event like this is ehhhhh.

She flashes a V sign back her way, "Yeah really..." Before- "Huh!? Do you know him?" She then looks back at the stage and double takes as she realizes she's seen someone who looks like him before, "Wait, do I know him!?"

She's scrutinizing him, he looks kinda like that Persona User who was there that night when they were saving Fuuka with a Guitar Case- gun?

Citizens of Sumaru City are a real trip.

"Oh! Kashihara-san- you're here too!" She's just glad there are more people she knows out here. "Honestly that's kind of a relief..."

At least if something happens tonight, he knows enough about things that he can help them get through it.

Ririka shows up to indicate that their last show was in an Ex-Prison? "An Ex-Prison?" She starts, but then rethinks that, "Oh you mean the one over by Kasugayama? That's sorta- a performance venue anyway, isn't it?"

And then YUA just comes up and identifies him- "Huh!? You're- our... Dance Teacher?" Yukari tries not to look at the contrast between her pregnant belly and her punk accessories.

Look fashion is about expression! She's free to dress how she likes! But still- something about it still makes her feel weird.

"Are you into like, the concert scene?"

Fortunately no booze here!

And then, Eikichi Mishina finishes the song and- 'Rest in piss, Joker! I'm nobody's roadie!'

Yukari crosses her arms and looks away, suddenly uncomfortable. Maybe he was an awful person but still... someone died. Should that really be celebrated?

When he introduces the ban though, she does get a surprise in Madoka. "Whoa-! She's totally fearless." She asides to the other teens with her, "And... swears like a Sailor."

More musical numbers come up, and despite the shift in mood, she manages to get into it. At the end of it all...

... she says to Jun, Lisa and Ririka, "Not a bad show. Actually... it was pretty fun. Maybe a little short? But, they're brand new. Do you wanna swing by and say Hi?" She asks Lisa in particular, because of her reaction, maybe she wouldn't want to.

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

"Totally," Lisa agrees with Yukari. Being here alone... Well, maybe she should've brought Sheba and Miipo, but then they might've been recognized...

"Oh, hey Jun-kun," Lisa says, having the good grace to be embarrassed about her outburst. "Yeah it's, uh, nice to see you!" She glances at Hyousuke as he waves and waves back, surprised but not that surprised to see him, now that she's realized this is kind of a Kasugayama joint.

"Not... exactly," Lisa says to Ririka with a big sweatdrop.

She's surprised to hear Eikichi mention the Joker Killer, but she kind of feels the same. Didn't he just hurt people? ...Why does she care, other than 'serial killrs bad'?

Well, whatever. The introductions happen and Lisa's eyes widen. "Whoa," she says of Madoka. "Yamada-san... I didn't know she had htis side to her!" She looks to Yukari, "Super fearless."

"Oh, hi!" To Yua. "Whoa, sensei, you look really different! Ho Oi Dik!" She beams. "I didn't know you had this kind of style to you..."

IT's obviously not hers--Lisa has a more clean-cut look to her, being an idol--but she can appreciate it anyway.

But the rest of the concert is, grudgingly, pretty good. She doesn't say a word about the brain-dyed Boss. She has to be nice!

But swing by and say hi? "Aaaah, that's..."

She considers everybody else. "Well, I wouldn't wanna hold you guys back. Let's go!"

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

Hearing Hyousuke's call, Jun waves to him from the other side of the beach. He's too far away for a conversation, though, so he turns to Ririka.

"Fairly well, all considered," he says, reflecting that small smile back at her. "Speaking of which, I'm glad to see you again, Kawase-san. We haven't really had a chance to speak recently, have we?" They do have each other's numbers, but it felt a little odd to reach out to her like that after everything that happened. "I hope you've been well."

Yua asks him if Sumaru Prison often hosts functions. "I don't go by there very often, so I'm not sure," he admits.

The first song ends, and as promised, Eikichi pours one out for his biggest hater. That gives Jun mixed feelings, especially considering where they all are, but he smiles all the same--at Eikichi's nerve. It's just like him to actually do it. The new members are introduced next: Jiro, Tex, and Madoka. They certainly have a lot of energy...

Jun enjoys the rest of the concert until its wrap. He's relieved to have people he knows here too; crowds are not usually his cup of tea, though he'll brave one for a concert. "It was fun," he says, nodding to Yukari in agreement. "I imagine they don't have a lot of songs yet." He looks over at Lisa. It seems like she knows a couple of the band members. "Are you sure? You don't need to put yourself out, either."

He says that, but he'll still join the group to head over to congratulate Eikichi on a successful show.

<Pose Tracker> Hyousuke Suzuki has posed.

The show drew to a pause to introduce each member of the band. Hyousue didn't recognise any of them, but then again, it was hardly as if he would have recognised the old band either - he was, as some might have noted, a fairly recent addition to Sumaru's assortment of characters. Nevertheless, he gave all the appropriate cheers and claps, pumping his fist and making it known he was having a good time. While he and Eikichi might not have seen eye to eye on certain things, Hyousuke couldn't deny the man put on a good show.

Their mutual hatred of a certain, deceased, individual certainly didn't hurt matters either, but it was the last bandmate's spirited outburst that did away with what little of his guard still managed to be up by that point. Rather than whoop or holler, he simply burst out laughing, unable to contain his amusement at such a brazen display. Even as the next batch of songs kicked in, he couldn't keep that dumb grin off of his face - though, given that it was Hyousuke, there was an argument to be made that any grin was a somewhat dumb one.

When the show finally came to close, Hyousuke set about slipping through the crowd, intent on reaching his friends. He could meet the band in a minute, he reckoned. They were sure to be swamped by other interested individuals, and it wasn't as though he had anywhere else to be that night.
"Guys!" He said waving a little as he approached the group. Jun and Lisa primarily, though he gave Ririka and Yua the same gesture once he recognised their presences (even if a teacher being present at such an event gave him pause). "That was a hell of a show! Is Gas Chamber always like this?"

His attention then turned to Yukari. She seemed vaguely familiar, but he couldn't quite place from where. A fight somewhere, perhaps? Polychord's concert from earlier in the year? He couldn't quite place it, but others seemed to know her, and his head canted to the side a little as a result. Were one to place a golden retriever pulling a similar expression next to him, the resemblance would have been uncanny.
"I don't think we've met. I'm Suzuki - Hyousuke Suzuki. Pleased to meet you."

<Pose Tracker> Ririka Kawase has posed.

Did he have to mention the Joker Killer? Ririka was hoping to not think about him tonight... She sighs. She's kind of with Yukari on that part.

Still, the new band members! She will cheer for Tex, of course, but she's got an extr loud cheer for Jiro. Gekkoukan rep! (Even if they haven't gotten a chance to talk yet.)

When Madoka is introduced, Ririka's ready to cheer-- but when she grabs the microphone she bursts out laughing. She pumps her fist in the air with an extra loud whoop. "Whoo! Get 'em!"

Ririka's paying extra attention to the original songs! And she's cheering for them. You love to see it.

But she pauses as Yua comments on the show. There were adults there, but she thinks she recognizes Yua as a teacher. (She's not in Yua's class... yet. But she'd probably enjoy the physical activity.) "Y-yeah, it was really cool. Their whole setup was good, too."

"That's the one," Ririka replies to Yukari. "It kinda is, yeah, but it's still a cool place to hold a show, you know?" After the show, she nods. "Yeah, the new band members are killing it... I hope his old band members aren't upset, though... they were trying really hard..."

She looks to Lisa curiously. "Oh, you just... seemed to have a really strong reaction, that's all."

"Yeah, things have been... kind of busy, huh?" she replies to Jun. What with the kidnapping, and the aerospace museum, midterms, everything else... "Glad you're doing okay, though." She shrugs a little. "Oh, you know... all things considered, right? But... we should catch up."

"Hey, Suzuki-san," she calls out to Hyousuke as he approaches. "Cool show, right?"

"Yeah, let's do that," she says of meeting the band. "I think that Jiro guy is from Gekkoukan, though I haven't talked to him much. I think his last name's Suzuki?" She will join in with the others to meet the band.

<Pose Tracker> Eikichi Mishina has posed.

Eikichi isn't shocked to see a teacher at the concert. The blue haired rocker grins and bows slightly. "Thank you so much sensei. A talented artist like myself strives to move my audience and with my band, we're gonna keep that going."

As he looks around, he spots the group gathered, spotting the weird girl from Sevens. What was she doing here? He finally just shrugs and waves over to the group. "Come on guys, we don't bite."

"Da fuck you mean? I'll bite a punk if he crosses me." Madoka says from her drum kid, checking her phone. Her eyes go over to the group, spotting Lisa and nodding slowly.

"Please behave,Yamada...." Jiro says from his guitar, which he is currently packing up.

"I'm being good.. I haven't told anyone to @#&#($*@(*&$(*& or @*&$*(@!&(*$!(" Madoka says casually as if she's describing a book she's read.

Tex smiles as he strolls back to the rest of the band, beginning to pack up. "First show went off without a hitch. Let the girl let out some steam....though that second one was a bit far, Yamada."

"Get fuck'd ~~<3" Madoka makes a heart sign with her hands.

Tex laughs as Jiro just sighs. Eikichi shakes his head, smiling.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"That's right!" Yua affirms, when Yukari asks if she's their dance teacher. Yua is blending in, Yukari! You can't even tell she's a lame adult!!! She giggles, hearing Lisa realise that. "Mmhm, mmhm!" She hums, happily. "I asked our stylist to come up with something 'punk'!" She audibly says the word in air quotes, proving that rich women and punk can never coexist.

    She tried.

"No... but I wanted to be!" She admits, smiling, as Yukari asks whether she's into the concert scene. "Besides, all the adults will feel better if a teacher's keeping an eye on things... we do hear what's going on in school!"

She smiles, hearing Jun say he doesn't go by the prison often. "Oh, of course you wouldn't! That's not your style, is it?" Jun is a good boy. He gets good grades for a good future. Is it bad that the teachers talk about kids that way, too...?

And she waves to Hyousuke, when he comes up, too. "Suzuki-kun! Are you enjoying the festival? Please don't worry," she assures him, having apparently intuited the pause he has over her being here, "I'm blending in, so you won't even notice an adult is here!" THEY NOTICED, YUA!

"Yes, you should come say hi!" She encourages the YOUTH, on the heels of Ririka's own encouragement, before she heads off to congratulate Eikichi herself --

"You are very talented!" She claps her hands together, for Eikichi. "Do you think you'll pursue a musical scholarship? I think it would open many doors for you, when you graduate!" There are... music scholarships?!

She smiles, her fingers veiling her lips, hearing Madoka threaten to bite them. "Chomp!" She provides a sound effect, cheerfully, which is just her saying the word chomp. It's adorable. That's illegal. "How fierce...!"

At least she's not telling her to mind her language...

<Pose Tracker> Yukari Takeba has posed.

"Oh hey, you know him too?" She asks Lisa as Jun approaches, "Wow, it feels like everybody knows everyone in Sumaru... it always felt bigger to me when I lived here."

Yua notes that she was specifically going for punk. And Yukari just sorta tilts her head at her like 'Really???' as she air quotes. "... Righttt. Well. It's a pretty bold choice I guess."

Sorry teach, you just can't be cool to the youth.

She's quickly nodding in agreement with Lisa when it comes to Yamada, "I know right? I can't imagine saying anything like that at a mic."

Ririka though indicates that it is, "Huh. Yeah. Pretty cool. Though I imagine it's more because it was close to their school..." Yukari don't take out the coolness factor of an ex-Prison venue by practical comments.

It's then time for Lisa's Cantonese Lessons! "Ho Oi Dik?" She whispers, "What's that mean?" As she turns to Jun, and- "Yeah. Well for early material, it was pretty good?"

Lisa however indicates that she doesn't want to hold them back and Yukari eyes her like 'Are you sure?' but eventually relents. "... Well alright. Look, if you want to get away, just uh- say something Cantonese. I'll take it as a signal."

Yukari no. Don't you realize how often she uses Cantonese!?

It's only then that someone with Jun turns to her, "Oh- hey? Not really? Though you look kinda familiar." She smiles back at him, "Well okay, nice to meet you Suzuki-san. I'm Yukari Takeba. Just so you know- I don't really live in the area. We're gonna go talk to the band if you wanna come."

It's only then that she leads the group up to Eikichi and co. "Hey there. Nice show. I can tell you're all working hard to make it come together."

She means that, though the face she makes- it's like she's hesitating to say something.

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

"Oh..." Lisa hears 'her stylist' does it. "That's why your stuff's so nice..." Lisa is not a punk. But she has been in a room with punks before.

"I guess that's true," Lisa admits of the adults feeling better.

Hmm. So a lot of these people know each other, despite being from different schools. Not unheard-of, but kind of interesting. She says to Yukari, "Coincidence! I don't know why." But Jun says she shouldn't put herself out and Lisa answers, "It's fine, it's fine!" But Cantonese lessons are always appropriate. It's 'cute' or 'lovely'. Sensei looks cute! Even if..." Ha ha ha. She shares a look with Yukari, and doesn't say it. It's a little awkward.

Then there's Hyuosuke, who slips through the ground, and she shakes her head. "No idea! I haven't seen them before. Guess they're branching out of the Prison..."

She does hear things.

Lisa has not introduced herself yet. It's fine, people know who she is.

"It's fine, it's fine," Lisa assures Ririka again, laughing slightly.

...They seem to have some kind of secrets, too...

Lisa nods slowly back to Madoka. She's being good, huh...?

"Ahahaha. Ha." Lisa's laugh is kind of awkward as she thinks Eikichi hasn't noticed her yet. Probably.

Musical scholarships, though. And--

Lisa stares at Yua for a moment. Why is this woman so adorable?

She doesn't use the Cantonese signal!! Yet.

But...

"Yeah uh," Lisa says, "You guys... really put on a show!"

She steps behind Yukari.

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

"I suppose not," Jun tells Yua, though he doesn't know about the style she's trying to imply. He doesn't think she means anything bad, but so often adults don't...

"No. Previously they weren't as good, I'm sorry to say," Jun tells Hyousuke with humor. "All the members besides Eikichi-kun are new. He's chosen these bandmates well." He pauses as Madoka idly, confidently spouts more profanity. "...All vulgarity aside."

They do have a good vibe together, though. They seem to be having fun together, and that's important.

Ririka gets another, rueful smile. "Very busy indeed. Which reminds me--thank you for your help that time." No need to explain what he means. "I agree, though. It's been far too long."

Yukari gets a curious look briefly, but he nods in agreement. "The new members seem to be much more on Eikichi-kun's wavelength. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do next."

Coincidence indeed. For an instant, Jun is uneasy. The feeling soon passes, and he mentally brushes it off. He didn't get any weird feelings around Lisa when they first met, and he's already forgotten that they've actually met before at the train station where Maya and Tatsuya crashed into each other in front of four fateful people.

"If you're sure," Jun tells Lisa. She doesn't seem like the type to have trouble with speaking up for herself, so he won't push.

He walks up with the rest of the group and smiles at Eikichi. "Well done tonight. I hadn't realized you'd changed up the band so much, but it worked out splendidly." He nods to Jiro, Tex, and Madoka politely in greeting. "How do you do? I'm Jun Kashihara. Eikichi-kun and I attend the same school."

<Pose Tracker> Eikichi Mishina has posed.

"Heh? Do you think I could get a music scholarship?" Eikichi perks up at Yua's comment, blinking. He hadn't considered such a outcome before but this was...incredible. Still how was he going to tell his father. A cold runs down Eikichi's spine when he considers his old man. "I'll keep it in mind! Thank you!"

Madoka nods at 'Chomp'. "See! She gets it! Chomp!"

Eikichi looks at Yukari and grins. "Thanks for coming....Yeah. My guys helped me set this band together and it's been work work work. We appreciate your support!"

Eikichi looks over at Lisa and just smiles. He doesn't say a word. HE RECOGNIZES HER FOR SURE. Although there is a feeling that makes the Death Boss lose his balance for a sec. He holds his head for a moment, blinking. Weird.

"Kashihara!" Eikichi grins as the boy comes to meet the group. "Hmm? Oh yeah...my friends all quit and told me to get a real band. Said it was for my own good. But these guys are awesome. It was quite a trek to meet them all during that whole mess we were dealing with...Still, I got complex feelings on it all. Anyway, guys, meet the second prettiest boy in school. Behind yours truly of course." Eikichi grins.

"Howdy." Tex tips his hat to Jun.

 Jiro nods quietly.

Madoka gives a salute. "Oh...You're from Kasu too? You don't look like you have pomade in your hair though..."

<Pose Tracker> Ririka Kawase has posed.

Ririka's not sure how punk it is to have a stylist... but Yua isn't getting on anybody's case for language, so... Ririka's inclined to not think she's okay. Though, part of her still wonders why she was so nervous about being healed at Sevens... Is she a Persona User? Ririka's curious, but... she also asked for no questions, so... Ririka will respect that.

"I mean, maybe, sure," says Ririka to Yukari, about the previous venue. "But c'mon, don't be a downer like that, it was still a cool show. They had pyrotechnics!" After a beat, she lowers her voice. "... actually I was a little worried about those."

"Well, if you say so," Ririka says to Lisa. She might not have recognized Lisa yet, either. It's fine.

Jun thanks her, and Ririka nods back. "You're welcome! Just glad everything worked out." Definitely no need to elaborate. "Well, I'm in Sumaru a lot, so I can catch you around sometime." You know, since she comes up to visit her sister and all.

"Hey, Mishina-san! Cool show!" Ririka shouts as they approach. "You too," she says to Tex.

Then she looks to Jiro. "You're... Suzuki-san, right? I didn't you you ran with this guy." Ririka's not usually this outspoken at school. On stage, yes, but not usually at school.

"You killed it on drums!" she says to Madoka next. "Love the energy!"

<Pose Tracker> Hyousuke Suzuki has posed.

Ririka's question drew an emphatic nod from Hyousuke, as well as a wide and unabashedly enthusiastic grin.
"Sure was! Mishina-san really knows how to put a show on, doesn't he?" Whatever their differences were or may have been, that much could be appreciated. His attention then shifted to Yua, at whom he gave a rather exaggerated look of realisation, before winking in much the same manner. "Right! You're blending in! Got it. I'm saying nothing to nobody." He decided not to elaborate on anything, and just settled for humouring her instead. Even if it wasn't so unnecessarily rude, Hyousuke wasn't sure he could bring himself to do anything else.

"'Course I'm coming!" Hyousuke said, flashing that grin at her as well, before letting it settle into something a touch more measured. "I don't know a thing about his band or new members or whatever, but I can't just walk off without saying congrats to the Death Boss." Hyousuke spoke as if Yukari was supposed to know the title, and as if he was some long-time Kasu student, rather than someone that'd stumbled in at the beginning of the school year. Lisa's response drew a puzzled expression over his features rather than a beaming one, however, and he blinked towards her as he spoke. "The Prison? I heard he put on a show there a while back too, but I don't think I was there for it..."

He wasn't, but with how everything had become a blur that school year, even he wasn't entirely sure.

Then Jun responded, and Hyousuke nodded thoughtfully, pondering for a moment how best to respond to that.
"I don't know a thing about music and teamwork and all that, but I know they looked like they were having fun. Put on a good show too. I dunno what the deal with the swearing is, but if it's making them work better together, I say let 'em!" He grinned a little more, before following along with the rest of the group, taking a position nearer the front and striding forward with no small degree of confidence.

"You guys were awesome!" Hyousuke said, the very moment he was within earshot. He didn't care to mince words or offer some restrained praise - there was a time and place for that, and 'shortly after Gas Chamber's loud and bombastic concert' was certainly not one of those times or places. "Where'd you even find the time to get all this stuff practiced and set up? It must've taken ages to get right."

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"Everyone talks in Sumaru," Yua advises Yukari, "so even a big city can feel very small!" That's the power of Rumours, apparently. "But of course," she adds, when Yukari talks about her bold choice, "the stage is all about bold statements!" She just called it the stage...

She smiles, to Lisa, when she realises why her outfits are so nice. "I'm not very good at fancy fashion," she admits, "so my... roommate's stylist helps me, too!" That's right. They're roommates. "If it was up to me, I'd wear my leotards every day...!" ... but she DOES wear her leotards every day!

Well, to class, certainly. As far as these kids are concerned, the leotard is her outfit, day in and day out.

She giggles, hearing Lisa call her cute. "I suppose I can't really pull off fierce, can I?" She admits, goodnatured.

And when Jun highlights the band's vulgarity, Yua assures him: "It's all right! Something like this is part of teenage expression, they say! There's much more that's appropriate at a concert than is appropriate in the classroom!"

She smiles, when Eikichi perks up at the idea of scholarships. "I do think so! If you decide to apply for one, I'm happy to be a character reference for you." Because, of course, so many of these applications expect that you know people...

Still, she tilts her head, with vague concern. "You've had a lot of trouble, lately...?" Has she not heard...?

(Yua, to all senses, is not a Persona User -- no Resonance, and apparently no insight into all the hubbub lately. That doesn't explain how it was possible to heal her, during one of the Joker Killer's attacks, though...)

"Don't worry," she assures Ririka, aside. "The Sumaru Fire Department are very good at their jobs! If anything had gone wrong, the fire would be put out in a jiffy! Just like that awful accident at the Museum..." ... was it an accident?

And then she zips her lips to Hyousuke, when he assures her that he'll say nothin' to no-body!!

<Pose Tracker> Yukari Takeba has posed.

"Really?" Yukari seems skeptical at Lisa calling it coincidence, but then Yua mentions it's a function of Rumor culture and everyone talking, "Oh that makes sense I guess."

"Uhhhhh- but you're not on it?" She says, in confusion to Yua saying the stage. "Though I guess you're a dancer... but, still?"

Then she says her Roommate, "Wait - I thought they announced you were out for a while to get married?" She gives her a strange look, like she can't quite sort through the logic of that, "Aren't you living with your husband?"

"... Well I never saw their old lineup, so I'll take your word for it." She says to Jun both, as she bets he's right - that this band meshes better than their prior members.

However as Ririka tells her not to be a downer, "Huh!? I'm not trying to be a downer? I'm just saying that it's not the same as like - holding a concert in a warehouse you're trespassing in or something, sheesh."

She just likes to hold a real image in her head of performers - as there are a lot of posers out there where their whole 'image' is just part of the act and not who they really are.

Lisa clarifies and- "Ohhhh that's what it means. Huh. Yeah. I think she'd do better with 'Kawaii' than Punk myself. Though... maybe wait until after she's given birth..."

Hyousuke mentions Death Boss, and Yukari raises an eyebrow, "Death Boss? Is that like his stage name or something?" She definitely hasn't heard of that one before...

As they approach and Eikichi tells her 'Thanks for Coming' and nods along, "Well, I'll check you out again sometime in the future."

She hesitates then...

"Though... did you really have to celebrate the Joker Killer being dead? I mean- I know he's a Serial Killer and all but... still, it feels wrong to act like you're thrilled about someone dying..."

Look. She's maybe standing in front of Lisa to cover for her, but she's not about to hold back herself.

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

Jun exchanges nods with Jiro and Tex, and smiles again at Eikichi's sheer audacity at calling him the second prettiest boy at Kasu after himself. That unwavering confidence is what makes him the Death Boss, of course. He's happy to let Eikichi have it, in particular because--

"Oh--that's because I don't use pomade or cosmetics or anything like that," Jun tells Madoka apologetically. (Apologetic because Eikichi clearly does, and there's nothing wrong with that being his style. It just isn't Jun's.)

"You're quite right, sensei," Jun says to Yua, once again silently impressed by how accepting she is of teenagers... well, being teenagers. Even if she's inexperienced, she truly has the soul of a good teacher. Hyousuke's certainly unbothered by the cussing too, and Jun chuckles at his bright acceptance. "Oh, I never meant to suggest they should stop."

To Ririka, he nods. "Certainly. You have my number, so let me know next time you're in town." He falls silent, though, as Yukari protests Eikichi trash-talking the Joker Killer. They say one shouldn't speak ill of the dead, but... Jun folds his arms and leans in closer to her.

"I understand how you feel, Takeba-san, but Eikichi-kun was almost one of his victims," he murmurs, trying to let her know just enough context to hopefully prevent a fight.

[OOC] Jun Kashihara says, "blu-ray trying to discreetly let her know"
<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

Lisa doesn't want to explain the extra dance lessons in front of everybody, because she's not sure Jun wants to know that. ...And other reasons. But it's fine, she can tell Yukari later. She does listen to Hyousuke's explanations. And Jun's!

"Yeah," Lisa agrees, "They do seem to vibe together... I have to admit that."

She doesn't have a strange feeling about Jun, either. ...But she remembers having had one, vaguely. No reason though.

But she's sure. "Yeah!"

Lisa continues not to introduce herself. But she frowns at Eikichi when he just smiles. "...You..."

Hmph!! "I mean, you did good," she says. "You're gonna play more beaches, I'm sure of it."

And a look to Ririka. "Yeah?" Lisa asks. "Wait, Kawase..."

Nevermind. She darts way away from that rumor right now.

Teenage expression. "I mean, I'm not gonna tell Yamada-san to talk differently," Lisa says. But Yukari hears the clarification, and well--Lisa nods to Yua. "Right," she says. "Cute's super your style--fierce... not so much. But your stylist knows what they're doing, I guesss."

Death Boss....

"It's his title at C--Kasu High. He's the big boss in charge. ...You know, for whatever that means."

Thrilled about someone dying...

"...I dunno about any of that," Lisa says of the Joker Killer. "But for some reason, I think..."

She winces, suddenly, and lifts a hand to her head. "What... What do I think...?"

<Pose Tracker> Eikichi Mishina has posed.

"Kawase! Thanks for coming." Eikichi smiles, wondering if her sister and Tsubasa are around. "Hows your band? I can't wait for your next show."

Tex tilts his hat and nods.

Jiro nods and puts his hands in his pockets. "Yes...We met here in fact. Apparently Mishina's friends told him I practiced here...now we're doing a show here so it's full circle."

"Fuck yeah, I did." Madoka grins, despite getting a look from Jiro. She doesn't look at all put off.

Eikichi looks over to Hyousuke and shrugs. "Art is my life. It is what I'm about....It's more of a question how I manage being a hardcore Death Boss when I'm doing this." He places a hand on his chest, posing for Hyousuke. "But thank you for coming, bro. We're gonna keep going up!"

"Thank you Sensei, I'll be in touch when I submit my application!" He can't believe that he has a shot at a music school. Eikichi's heart beats with absolute joy as he considers where this band is going to go.

However Yukari's question brings Eikichi back down to earth. He looks serious as she brings up Tatsuya Sudou, nodding slowly. "Tatsuya Sudou...was someone who tried to kill me several times and never had a kind word for me. Called me a roadie. A fake. A nobody...At the same time, I watched him cry as his world collapsed before someone took him out. This was my way of saying goodbye to someone world hated and to give him a little bit of an ending he didn't deserve. I wouldn't say honor cuz he doesn't get that. Pity maybe is more apt...Like I'm not happy the person is dead but his mantle? Yeah, Joker Killer is dead and that's good."

"The hell does that mean?" Eikichi looks over when she mentions playing more beaches. "We're gonna get to the Budokan, you watch...But thanks for your -generous- support, Ginko! We couldn't do it without you."

<Pose Tracker> Ririka Kawase has posed.

Does it take something out of the experience of cursing at a concert to have an adult call it teenage expression...? Ririka frowns a little as she considers the matter of the fire department... but mostly when contrasted against the aerospace museum fire. "... right..."

That wasn't an accident. And they definitely weren't rescued by the fire department.

It is curious that Yua doesn't have any Resonance, but... there's enough strange things going on with the supernatural side of things that there could be an innocent explanation. And she wouldn't fault someone for wanting to keep a low profile.

Ririka looks to her fellow SEES member next. "Well I guess you're right about that, Takeba-san, but come on. It's not like an ex-prison would suit every kind of performance."

"Will do," Ririka says to Jun. She really needs frequent train miles or something at how often she goes back and forth to Sumaru. And she's glad Jun's giving Yukari that context--she'd rather not bring up that attack again and risk starting an argument.

She looks to Lisa next, as she repeats her last name. "Yeah, Ririka Kawase. I'm a second year at Gekkoukan. I know I'm a bit far from Iwatodai, but... I wanted to see the show." She pauses as Lisa lifts a hand to her head. "Hey... you okay? Do you need to go sit down or something?"

But she's got a grin for Eikichi. "They're good! We're working on some new material, so please look forward to it~"

She looks at Jiro next. "His friends... you mean... his old crew? Did they really do that for him...?" She's a little sad to see they couldn't hit Eikichi's level, but... she respects the move.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

Tsubasa and Ichika are totally around. They'll come bother Eikichi later! But Tsubasa's been avoiding the truancy teacher for months, now, and they're not about to break their streak of youth rolling out of her classes now.

"It's all about the energy, Takeba-kun!" Yua encourages Yukari, at her confusion that she's not the one on the stage.

She asks why Yua isn't living with her husband, though, and her smile dims a little. (Perhaps it's just the light.) "That's, er..." She starts, and when she can't think of an explanation off the top of her head, she just taps a finger to her cheek. "That's private, okay?"

No more questions, please. It's not at all unusual as a response from their cute yet enigmatic dance teacher, who does tend to shut down lines of inquiry at the drop of a hat.

Yua is very kawaii, though. She giggles, again, smiling to Lisa. "Then I had better tell her to stick with 'cute' next time! I suppose that's why she looked at me funny when I asked for an outfit like this...?" What Yua wants, Yua gets, apparently. It would be a sick outfit if it wasn't on her...

She tilts her head, hearing Yukari chastise Eikichi for celebrating the Joker Killer's death. "Oh, I see... did you know someone who became the Joker Killer?" Yua asks, having apparently heard the news about how everyone with Kegare in their hearts might become him. "Joka is a terrible thing to attract..."

Jun says that Eikichi was almost one of the victims, though, and Yua frowns, looking to him with concern. "That's terrible! Are you all right, now?"

Eikichi names him, though, and Yua frowns, with confusion. "Tatsuya Sudou... is that one of the people who was possessed by Joka?" She wonders, as if not recognising the name. (She does.) "He sounds like he treated you quite unfairly... I'm sorry you were hurt in this way."

She looks to Lisa, sympathetically. "It is a lot," she assures her. "The news talks about it, sometimes... have you seen what Wang Long Chizuru said, the other day? It really explained everything, but it was quite frightening...! Apparently, people collect Kegare in their hearts as they perpetrate crimes against each other... and the build up of that Kegare causes them to grow black with corruption. It's a terrible thing... I hope there's some way to purify ourselves..."

To Ririka, she smiles, and adds: "It's a good thing to travel widely. There are many wonders in Sumaru and Tokyo you wouldn't see, if you stayed in Iwatodai! Of course," she adds, to the youth from Sumaru, "the same is true for Iwatodai... I hear there's a cafe there whose coffee makes you even more beautiful!"

<Pose Tracker> Yukari Takeba has posed.

"The energy... ... Righttt..." No this woman just has too much energy by far. She's like a little kid.

Though as she clarifies that it's private. Yukari is just- "...Private?" She squints at the word choice. Usually it'd be like 'he's working overseas and I'm so far along that I need help'.

It'd be an easy enough excuse, but Yua doesn't do that. Which only makes it MORE suspicious.

"... If you say so. I sure wouldn't want to be a newlywed to a guy who's not even around while you're this far along."

She really just doesn't hold back, does she?

Jun lets her know that Eikichi was one of his victims, in the sense of almost died and Yukari seems slightly taken aback, then nods- but doesn't back down or apologize.

Whereas Lisa- Yukari looks her way and mouths, 'Everything okay?' as she sounds like- she's spacing out?

Did she have a really bad history with this guy or something?

And then Eikichi addresses her question, and she listens- "Okay, I get it- it sounds like he bullied you pretty badly- and you're upset about it."

Bullying is pretty dismissive! Given it was murder - but it sounds like to her that Eikichi is more upset about the language, "I hated the guy too... but did you really have to say 'Rest in Piss'?" She says, as if cringing at the phrase, "That sure doesn't sound like you're pitying him. Well whatever you say... I'm not gonna tell you not to be mad at the guy."

Yua however mentions someone who 'became' the Joker Killer? "Huh? What are you even talking about?" Pause. "What does Wang Long have to do with it?"

Jun clarifies some- and Yukari...

"Uhhhhh... maybe? I mean I'd heard that-"

She stumbles notably there, because she doesn't necessarily want to spread a rumor and get in trouble with some powerful people.

And Sudou's father- if he's someone that even the Kirijo head is careful around...

She has to be careful too.
"... but it's not like I know it for sure, right? Haha... ha... yeah."

Yua then explains it, and she furrows her brow, "Wang Long Chizuru...?" She murmurs, "... Geez I wasn't tuned into the news due to celebrating the end of Midterms..."

What the heck happened while she wasn't paying attention that people think there's just more than one Joker Killer because of some mythical impurities!?

<Pose Tracker> Hyousuke Suzuki has posed.

Yua's lip-zipping was met with one of his own, though his curved a little from the smile still carved into his features. Mum was the word, it seemed - though whether her presence would stand up to the scrutiny of people looking in her general direction remained to be seen. Jun's wry response was given a more subtle reaction in the form of a quiet - almost silent - titter, though his lips still curved into a smile. Part of him lamented that it'd been too long since he had been like this, simply happy to live in the moment, free of the worry of what might come next. He quashed it quickly. Existential dread and other such worries could wait for the dorm room.

"Stage name? Eh, something like that." Hyousuke said, in response to Yukari. "Not really sure about it myself. That's just what all the guys at school call him, so I figured I should probably do the same." He still wasn't sure if it was a matter of tradition, honour, habit, or all three, but he hadn't much reason to stop. What did bring him to a halt was Eikichi's response, and Hyousuke was all too happy to meet it with an emphatic, eager, nod, as well as his arms crossed firmly in solidarity. "Keep putting on shows like this, and I'll keep coming back! You've got this!"

There was *one* thing that made him seem a little less eager, though it was more because he was curious than because he was unenthusiastic. Turning a little, he sidled up a bit closer to Lisa, and asked a question in a single, quiet, word.
"Ginko?"

<Pose Tracker> Lisa Silverman has posed.

Kawase has a band! Lisa looks at Ririka, considering her for a moment, down and then up again. "Cool," she decides, getting an idea of what her band must be like by her own style. So not direct competition, probably. ...Not that Lisa gets precious about that, anyway.

But Ririka, "Oh, sorry. Just thought the name was familiar. Probably a coincidence."

But she suddenly has her head in her hand and--

Then Eikichi chimes in.

"Haime!? Fanna! I was trying to be NICE, you--you brain-dyed Boss! Don't call me Ginko!"

But Yua looks to her, and, "Yeah... Ishigami-san was on a segment before us on a show once," Lisa explains, "And I heard about what she was saying. Seoi Lo, that's scary..." She'd rather talk about how cute Yua is--but with Yua saying that's private... Hmm.

Joka...

"...Mm, yeah," Lisa says, "But Yukari-chan, aren't we too young to be thinking about getting married anyway? I don't want to bother sensei about it..."

She's increasingly uncomfortable. Something seems wrong. Something seems like--

Like she forgot something important.

"...Sorry, Yukari-chan. I think I gotta go. I--"

Ginko?

"NOT YOU TOO!" Scowling, Lisa storms off in her cute ankle boots.

<Pose Tracker> Jun Kashihara has posed.

Explaining the context does less than Jun had hoped. He respects that Yukari is a woman who speaks up when something's bothering her--with Eikichi, and with the matter of Yua's absent husband (so she is here alone...)--but he's not sure she truly appreciates that Sudou tried to kill him multiple times.

But then Yua comes in with her innocent-seeming questions about Sudou and Kegare, and goes on to explain about how Wang Long Chizuru explained this on TV. Jun had seen that program, and his expression darkens as he looks away. He has no reason to think that Yua is doing anything more than repeating what she's heard, but...

    The Joker won't die!

...no, the mantle of Joker Killer isn't dead yet. Not by a long shot--despite the Black Mask's best efforts.

It's all punctuated when Lisa explodes at Hyousuke--understandably, considering she'd just yelled at Eikichi not to call her Junko--and storms off. Jun winces. It was a fun concert, punctuated by Hyousuke's giggling, but he's reaching his cap on socializing for tonight.

"I should get going too--it's getting late, and we have school tomorrow," he says, putting on a smile to not worry anyone. "I look forward to Gas Chamber's next concert."

Raising a hand to wave goodbye, Jun also heads off through the beach dunes back towards the street.

<Pose Tracker> Yua Ijuuin has posed.

"T--that's not the situation..." Yua protests, to Yukari, though it's a touch meek. Is something going on with her husband...?

Though, she assures her: "Your midterms were important... I'm sure a girl like you wouldn't be collecting Kegare in her heart, anyway."

Lisa doesn't like Eikichi's nickname, though... and Yua looks sympathetic, though she doesn't precisely comment on it. Teachers rarely do, when there's bullying in the ranks... well, assuming the teachers aren't in on it, anyway.

(Yua, at least, doesn't get in on it.)

"It's all right," she assures Lisa, in turn, though she still looks a touch uneasy about her state.

And then Hyousuke echoes the nickname Eikichi uses, and Yua winces. "Ah... could you check on her, Takeba-kun?" She at least acknowledges it quickly enough to ask, designating a youth to go do that in the process. That's the power of being an adult... it must mean Yua's worried, too.

Though, she assures Hyousuke: "It's all right, Suzuki-kun... I'm sure you were just confused." Hopefully, even if he has to step away, he won't blame himself...

"I'll see you around, Kashihara-kun!" Yua waves, to him, as he heads off. "I'll be here for a while," she adds, to the Youth, "so please come find me if you need anything, all right...?"

    What a helpful adult...

<Pose Tracker> Ririka Kawase has posed.

Should they really be discussing the Joker Killer so freely in a crowd like this? Maybe as long as they don't get into specifics, but... it's a little awkward to have this kind of conversation in 'mixed company', as it were.

"Wait--became the Joker Killer? But he's..." That was just one guy. But she remembers what was said at the end... and she feels very ill at ease. "C'mon, that's just... some rumor, right...?"

Except she knows how Rumors work in Sumaru, and she feels very ill at ease.

But she's smiling a little more for Yua as she mentions traveling far. "Yeah! And, well... my sister goes to school in Sumaru, so... I come up a lot to see her. But that's how I hear about shows like this one! And about the last time they performed."

Ririka definitely isn't in an idol group, no. So not competition.

But she blinks as Lisa called it a coincidence. "Oh, well... okay. Say, you look kinda familiar..." But that train of thought is interrupted by 'Ginko', which she quickly makes a note not to call her.

... Well she's not going to ask her about MUSES now, after that. Ririka rubs the back of her neck. "You want company checking on her, Takeba-san? We could ride back together, if you want..." That safety in numbers thing.

<Pose Tracker> Yukari Takeba has posed.

It's not the situation? Yukari seems skeptical. However, then Eikichi snipes at Lisa with the word 'Ginko' when she didn't say anything wrong. "Hey-!" Then as Hyousuke repeats it, Lisa just gets madder and tells her she has to go.

As she then glares at Eikichi, "What did you say to her!? ... Geez..." She doesn't get it, just that he was trying to be provocative.

She at least gets that Hyousuke wasn't? He just sounded like he was asking.

"Huh? Well, okay. See you later Kashihara-san."

She's at least a little sorry that she dragged him into this... whatever this is, with Eikichi. But...

Yua asks her to check on her, "... Don't worry, I was going to go after her anyway..." She says, still looking in that direction with concern.

She's about to go, when Ririka asks and-

"No offense but... I think I should go after her alone for this one."

She knows that Lisa is a celebrity idol - she's not certain RIRIKA knows, and she doesn't want Lisa to feel like there are things she can't say because of her presence.

"She barely knows you so I'm- not sure she'll feel like she can talk about everything. I'll catch up later, alright?"

She then starts jogging after Lisa, though at a controlled gait, weaving around the people who are still around. She's in a mini-skirt after all, so she's not going to tear off full sprint.
