"I SEE you," Yua says, as the Navigational Persona Gretchen and her listening-dish mask of a head fade, still half-maddened even as her eyepatch is secured against an eye with three pupils. "Ulala Serizawa--!!"

At length, Miho and the others know what she has seen, just the same.

Ulala's friends make haste to the Velvet Room.

And so --

"As we suspected," Miho says, "There is a countermeasure. Ulala Serizawa's friends were able to suppress the Curse, and return her to normal..." A pause. "Difficult as it seems to have been, it presents a problem for our mutual allies."

Miho looks to Yung Pao. Her gaze is as sharp as the lapels of her suit. "It is thus imperative that we move the rest as quickly as possible to their final destination. That is my assessment."

"They will suppress it?" Yung Pao asks, his Japanese exacting; it's not his first language, or perhaps even his /third./ His words cut as sharply as the diagonal lines of his traditional suit -- or the diagonal scar along his cheek. "We hold a method to muzzle a wild dog, ourselves." Cutting, too, is his last question: "Is pharmaceutical life not wonderful?"

"...We'll be counting on your men."

"My regard to Ishigami," Yung Pao says, as ever, looking over Miho's shoulder to find the force behind her.

The soul of Taiwan is a weak defense striving against an overwhelming opponent; that he sees no way out through her does not stop him from /looking./

Miho receives this regard icily, looking to Yung Pao with a dispassionate frown. But she says nothing directly to his remark about /her/.
