"Invasive species are so interesting, aren't they? "In their own ecosystems, they are part of the harmony... but taken where they don't belong, they become a problem to everyone."
Miho Ijuuin is an Olympic gold medalist multiple times over for the Japanese Fencing Team, having won both single and team events. She's well-known in the news media for this and her exciting lifestyle. That lifestyle includes a fancy penthouse, showing up to celebrity parties, and going on the news now and then--both as an athlete and as the woman seeing movie star Tomoki Hasegawa, known for the recent movie 'Setting Sun'. Previously a Katou Corporation Executive, she now works freelance as a security consultant, making use of skills she's built since university and a surprising knack for finding faults. She is exacting and hardworking, with little patience for fools or laziness, but is noted to volunteer at her fencing hall to teach the youth. She's also noted as a patron of the arts. Her place in a certain conspiracy is not public knowledge--nor is the fact that one day she intends to suborn it to her own ends, to save her secret partner and public best friend, Yua Ijuuin. Her visions of a True World, however, conflict with her samurai ethos for the world in which she lives now--and to save the woman who should be her wife, she will have to choose which duty she holds higher.
Background
Miho Ijuuin, of the old Ijuuin main family, grew up in Sumaru. She was always the favored daughter, the youngest, and this was true through her time at Seven Sisters High School, too. Starting fencing at a young age, she won her first Olympic medals at the age of 18. But an important person to her went missing--and Miho never gave up on finding her. A few years of adventures saw her through searching, until she came across the New World Order's members... and joined, for a chance to find Yua, despite her conflicts with them in the past.
Now an enforcer for the NWO and 'supervisor' of a number of Artificial Persona-Users, Miho looks for a way to subvert their masters and push forward her own vision of the True World.
Season 1, Episode 1
Miho began her journey 'handling' artificial Persona-users, and trying to balance service to the Order with the eventual plan to usurp it. Her belief in the True World remained strong as she guarded and supported Yua, and over time she would meet many more people and interface more with the world--as well as winning more gold medals for Japan at the Olympics. This would also be when Yua would get engaged to her cousin, a means of legitimizing their relationship... and that Yua would conceive Miho's child thanks to IVF.
She would acquire another romantic partner, thanks to the pressure of her family--but Yua remains first in her life in more ways than one. And there, at the end of the Episode, she sees Tatsuya Sudou finally fall... and with him, the idea of the 'True World' being brought about through a grand act of violence.
Persona
Miho wields the Persona Faust, and she awakened to that Persona--and Nyarlathotep's Mark with it--when an Order hit squad tried to take her out. Funny how that works.
Faust was a man who, finding himself dissatisfied with normal life, took to the occult and made a deal with a devil, Mephistopheles. In return for knowledge and earthly pleasures, he would pledge his soul in death. But he was saved by the prayers of Gretchen, who loved him. A Shadowy figure in black, green, and red. Her heavy coat and plague mask obscure her features, and her sharp boots give her extra height. She carries a knife in one hand and a book in the other.
Faust is notable for nuclear energy and enhancing Miho's slashing attacks.
Special Skills
Miho is an Olympic sabre fencer, and her sword skills are second to none. While fighting with real weapons is different from sport fencing, she's a scary opponent even without her Persona. She also has various action and stealth skills useful to infiltration and secret enforcer work.
Her Approaches are as follows:
- Sharp Talk - Miho speaks sharply--or threatens, or just happens to talk about swords.
- Bribe - Miho's got a lot of money. Some of it could be a demon's money.
- Olympic Prowess - Miho is physically powerful and incredibly athletic.

Notable NPCs
- Tomoki Ijuuin: Uses his professional name, Tomoki Hasegawa, for acting. He is an up-and-coming romantic lead and action star, having been in a number of films--and he's Miho's husband. (It's complicated.)
