The first issue of Kasugayama High School's newspaper is out! Calling their paper The Mountain Times, the Kasu High Newspaper Club offers their best, led by editor Tomori Jinushi and lead reporter Ichika Kawase.
The cover story is an interview with one Eikichi Mishina, the Death Boss. Also included are stories about typical uniform alterations, students' feelings on their school, and a roster for the current Student Council. Furthermore, there's a story about how to stretch small amounts of money a longer way, especially when thrifting clothes. Overall, it's packed with information that might be useful or interesting to the Kasugayama student body in particular...
The interview with the Death Boss includes such answers as:
What got him into music: "Since a young age, I liked being in the spotlight and performing for people. Music was just a way to express what I was feeling inside in an entertaining way."
Where did he meet his bandmates: "Gas Chamber's former members, my gang at Kasugayama, set us up. They looked for people who could match my energy. Even now, I owe those guys for making my dreams come true. And really, Gas Chamber 2.0 is stronger than ever before.
But also non-music questions like:
What made him want to be the Death Boss: "Oh, heh, a non-music question. My role as the Death Boss was really my attempt to effect my environment. Like I'm a tough bastard and if anyone was going to run things, it might as well be someone who was going to run this place for the better."
How'd he meet Miyabi: "My darling Miyabi...my inspiration! We met as kids and have always been stuck together. I think we met at a Phoenix Featherman stunt show with a bunch of other kids. Admittedly I wasn't a very popular kid so for the most part, it was Miyabi and me against the world."
The interview ends on Eikichi's statement: "I hope people come support our first album as Gas Chamber rockets into the wild world of indie musicians."
The paper is available at Kasu High and at the Sumaru Prison, with plenty of copies printed.
