"I'm Ixquic, the reincarnated warrior maiden! Demons that threaten human lives... I, Ixquic, shall whoop your asses!"
Akari Hoshi is a girl with big dreams. She's always believed there's more to this world than what most people see, but until recently lacked the ability to do anything about it beyond hang out and try to catch sight of a rumoured demon. But recently, she proclaimed to her parents that she was going to grow up and be a hero and an artist... only to have her dreams crushed. Her parents told her there were no such thing as heroes and she'd never make money at art; Madarame had shown that fine art was nothing but a scam. She should put aside her childish hobbies and spend more time on academics; she'd struggle in society if she didn't behave and couldn't fit in, and she needed to grow up and focus on her future. But it awoke a resolve in Akari instead: if there were no heroes in this world, if there was nothing but the crushing mundanity of tutors and classes, she'd break free, find the supernatural, and *make* herself a hero. By any means necessary.

Persona
Akari's Persona is Don Quixote.
A female figure wearing lightweight armour that looks like a cross between partial plate mail and power armour, with a bodysuit beneath. She rides a motorcycle - or rather is attached to, centaur-like, her leg armour and boots blending into the vehicle's frame - with ROCINANTE emblazoned on the side, and carries a sword. A lance with a pennant is mounted like a bike flag, with the word 'Shinjitsu' (truth or reality) on one side and 'Gensou' (illusion or fantasy) on the other.
The main character of 'The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha', a founding work of modern Western literature written by Miguel de Cervantes in 1605. Alonso Quijano is a noble who has read so many chivalric romances and tales of knighthood that they have replaced reality for him. He reinvents himself as Don Quixote, a knight-errant with the self-declared goal to revive chivalry. He does not see the world as it is, but as he wishes it was.
