"The goodness of a woman isn't in her bra!"

Not everyone has the same advantages in life. Ulala Serizawa certainly doesn't think she does. A lingerie saleswoman with two-toned hair and an excitable personality, her chief desire is to find love with a good man, become a bride, and settle down with stability and support. Unfortunately, she either gets rejected, dumped, or scammed whenever things are even slightly looking like they'll go her way, granting her an inferiority complex and intense jealousy towards those she feels have better situations in life. A hobbyist fortuneteller and fashionista, she either spends much of her time at the gym venting her frustrations at a punching bag or out and about learning various skills and talents that have no practical use for her goals.

Background

Ulala Serizawa is an only child, born in Sumaru, raised in a normal household by her two parents and her grandmother, who she spent quite a bit of time with. Her parents were exceedingly 'normal', a stable and secure family life that she admired. From a young age, she was interested in playing house, often recreating the ideal she saw in her parents. Her grandmother was quirky, which led to Ulala's own sense of humor and attitude growing as she got old.

She went to school with Maya Amano, her future roommate and best friend, where she was 'normal' when it came to making friends and hanging out, but for the first time started having a real interest in guys, so she started ditching class to go on dates. Eventually, she was held back a grade, something that was a huge blow to her self esteem.

After her two years in junior college, Ulala wanted to be a fashion designer, having seen it on an ad and thinking it was neat. However, she didn't want to lose years to design school, so she instead went into the lingerie sales business, working away from customers and inside merchandise. She went on more dates during this time, and was roommates with Maya once more. None of the dates panned out, and she would often go to matchmaking parties looking for someone to provide her what her parents once did, and be her forever love. She's been scammed numerous times, most importantly by a man named Makimura recently, who she really thought was the one.

Despite this, she would still take many classes and courses, learning new skills... that had nothing to do with being more of a marriage candidate or getting out of her job.

Persona

Callisto: In Greek Mythology, Callisto was a huntress of virginal Artemis who was assaulted and impregnated by the god Zeus, leading to her eventual exile and subsequent transformation into a bear. Slain by her own goddess in the end, Callisto was placed among the stars by Zeus, becoming the constellations Ursa Major and Ursa Minor.

Callisto represents the knotted web Ulala is trapped in. Like Callisto, Ulala feels wound around the people, constantly led into bad situations and then punished for basically nothing, never winning in life. Like how Callisto was trapped forever by the man who ruined her life, Ulala is stuck clinging to men, desiring marriage over all. This may just be another trap she's setting herself up for, though...

Special Skills

Ulala is a jack of all trades. A skilled boxer who could go into the amateur circuit if she wanted to, she learns new skills as a hobby, such as flamenco dancing, cooking, flower arrangement, and diving. Most of them aren't really 'useful' (besides learning English), but she always has a conversation topic to bring up.

She is interested in fortune-telling, especially about the Guardian Dragons. She is not that good at it.
