"Oh. Is that so?"

Though Kurou may tend toward an alternative style more suited to nightclubs and raves -- with such disregard for convention not atypical of a Kasugayama High School student -- it is contrasted by a calm and docile disposition. Apparently lacking experience to inform his behavior, he often defers to even his most delinquent peers on how to navigate social situations, and accepts their word far too easily. What Kurou ultimately wants out of life is to find what he wants out of life. Yet, he seems far too self assured for someone who claims to be entirely aimless, and proves relentless in even simple assignments and routine chores. Whatever unspoken purpose drives him, it isn't enough to satisfy the hunger that lurks under his composed exterior. In his life's hunt, Kurou makes it a point to find wonder in all parts of life, from the mundane to the darkest sides of Sumaru.

Gashadokuro: Humans that died in battle or of starvation, never given proper funeral rights, are said to sometimes merge together to form a single, skeletal monstrosity. Despite the titan size of Gashadokuro, it is silent in its approach, and may even possess the ability to turn invisible. Being made of bones and corpses of the already deceased, a Gashadokuro cannot be killed. It roams after midnight, hunting the living until the fury and hunger that animates it burns out.
