"Stop lookin' down on me with that stupid smile on your face!"

A well-known troublemaker at Shujin Academy, Ryuji Sakamoto used to be the track team's ace runner until a confrontation with a crooked coach led to a broken leg. Even so, he's never stopped being honest and straightforward (if also crude and tactless), or calling out the corrupt for what they are... or getting violent when his anger boils over. These traits make him an undesirable in Japanese society, but Ryuji refuses to do anything but live true to himself, even when he's failing his exams or succumbing to his horny teen boy urges. This passion, at least, serves him well in his secret double life as the heart of the Phantom Thieves, codename Skull.

Aliases

Skull: The codename Ryuji uses with the Phantom Thieves. Likely named for his skull themed mask.

Ramenboy87: Ryuji's vlogger handle. Ryuji reviews restaurants, particularly ramen shops, around the metroplex. These videos are great ways to discover new restaurants and dishes available around the area.

Satoshi: Ryuji's secret job is that of a Butler cafe butler. While the cafe has a number of rough employees, "Satoshi" is a bit more traditional in how he does things. He is very by the book and any mistake he makes is hidden behind a solemness that attempts to distract. Among customers, Satoshi is known for his 'war wound' which makes him limp somewhat and how there seems to be dark secret behind the serious butler. Some claim that his hair is a wig hiding the bleached blonde hair of a ruffian or a yakuza.

Persona

Captain Kidd: A legendary pirate who was once a privateer for the English Crown. William Kidd became a traitor to the crown when his crew plundered a neutral ship on accident, labeling him a pirate and an outlaw. Appears as a pirate skeleton with a cannon arm riding on top of a flying galleon.
